"Don't kill us please!" My heart kept on beating loud. What is happening!?

"Spare my life!" Is daddy here? No. It would take hours before you arrive-

They suddenly went all silent, I still can't see anything, after a few seconds finally, someone removed the cloth that's on me.

"Ejikiel?" I blinked a couple of times. Is he the one that saved me? I looked around, there aren't alot of blood and it seems like that they.. they were asleep?

"Athanasia, are you okay?" He asked me, I just simply nodded still looking around the area. It's kinda dark in here, where are we?

"Did you fight them?" I asked him, he was about to answer when I suddenly heard.

"Athanasia!" Daddy quickly held me and looked at me, he was panting how--

"Daddy how--" then suddenly, OH GOD! I CAN FEEL HIS MANA!?!?! Yo what's happening I'm scared really-

Yes, you can feel a person's mana when they're mad or fighting (like fighting real hard lolol)

"H-His Majesty transported here even if it's hard, he even transported alot of our knights." I heard Felix talking, my eyes widened.

"Daddy! don't do such things, don't go overboar--" he suddenly hugged me, I can feel his heart racing.

"Just shut up." He said and squeezed me while hugging. I looked around and then I saw Jennette, she was slightly crying.

"ARE you sure that you're okay?" Daddy said, I chuckled and nodded

"Yes daddy! So you can go now, shoo shoo! You gotta gain your used up mana!" I said and pushed him out of my room.

"But what if they go and-"

"Daddy! Come on, sleep!" I said and he just simply nodded before walking away.

Ah, finally some alone time. Seriously today was crazy. I guess I might rethink my decision about having some knights around right?

I didn't notice it but a small smile was on my face. I rolled around my bed while squealing quietly.

Ahhhh!!! Yes, I have a small crush on him since we were kids, I mean like who wouldn't have a crush on him!?

I've finally calmed down abit. I'm now looking at the ceiling, re-thinking what happened today.

Lucas said that I should be safe- Ah why am I thinking of him again? Well, he was the first one that told me to keep safe.

Hmm, should I thank him tomorrow?

Where is he? Class is almost starting, he's still not here! I mean, it-it's not like that I'm worried but--

I stopped my thoughts when I saw him walkinh inside our room, his cheeks was bruises. Why tho? Did he got into some fight before going here? But no-

Class started and I kept on glancing at Lucas, he looks kinda pissed. Should I really talk to him? He seems like he's in a really bad mood right now.

"Argh" I heard him groan, I looked at him. Why is he so.. mad?

I shook my head, I should just listen to our today's lessons. I shouldn't miss anything!

"Athanasia" Classes are now done, it's time for lunch, but before I can walk outside our room, Lucas called me.

"Yes??" I asked him, he just looked away

"Aren't you going to tell me something?" He asked me, I blinked a couple of times. Tell him? Something?

"Uhm, what are you talking about Lucas?" He just groaned again before walking out, just what the hell is happening? This jerk seriously!

"It's nothing." I heard him whisper before slamming the door, the students that were inside the room was shocked. Well, I was too!

"What is his problem?" I shook my head before walking outside. I gotta meet Jennette and Ejikiel.

"Hey!" Jennette waved her hands, I chuckled and waved back. She really is a small adorable angel.

"Ejikiel, you don't seem so good. What's up?" I quickly asked him, he looks troubled. Just what the hell is happening T^T

"It's just that, His Majesty and I is still curious who made your kidnappers fall asleep" My eyes widened, so what happened??

"Jennette came running to our building when you got kidnapped, I just ran everywhere trying to find you, then I saw that one abandoned building but when I came there, the kidnappers were already asleep." He explained, Jennette was nodding while I was left there... shocked and confused

Then who saved me? And why did he ran away?

"We were guessing that the person who helped you didn't want to get discovered or what, or maybe he saw me coming so that's why he ran away" he sighed, and massaged his forehead. "I want to thank him for saving you" he looked at me, and I smiled.

He really is kind. But wait, then who saved me!?

Suddenly just like I was struck by a thunder, I heard Lucas' voice inside my head. Is that why he has a bruise on his face?

Is that why he was so pissed? Because I didn't thank him? Ah, I mean he does have powerful magic.

But why did he run away? Just why?

"I think.. I know who that person is" I blurted it out, they both looked at me surprised

"Who!?" Jennette asked me, I just sighed and stood up

"Lunch time is over, I should go back to class. And you guys should too." I said and quickly got my back and ran off.

I may seem weird today but, I should really thank him! Who knows how much that bruise hurts huh!?

Why is he skipping classes!? That was the only thing inside my head until our classes ended, the teachers were quiet shocked too that Lucas was skipping classes. I mean, it's really not like him.

He sometimes may joke with me or act like a big fat jerk but still, he doesn't skip classes!

Should I go to his dorm? No. I should just thank him tomorrow, yup yes. Imma plan it--

Oh wow, I suddenly stopped when I saw how beautiful the Academy's garden was when it's night, I walked inside the garden, well walking around ain't going to kill me right?

My eyes widened, that song, that voice. Lucas is here!?

I looked around and when I looked up, I saw him sitting on a branch, humming while looking up.

I felt my heart kept beating loudly, I can hear his humming, it makes me sleepy and that song, I didn't notice it but I started humming, he looked down surprised.

Our eyes finally met, and I saw how his beautiful red ruby eyes glimmered at night.
