Ah, my head. I opened my eyes and I saw Jennette's face "Finally! Ejikiel sh-she's awake! Call Uncle!" She said in panic, I gave her a confused look.

I looked to my right and saw Lucas there, sitting while eating-- a cookie?? Seriously what is he doing here-

"Is she now okay?" I heard Daddy's voice, my eyes widened. Why is he here at my dorm!? I tried to sit down but my body feels heavy.

"Yeah, she just can't control her mana." He said and continued eating, what happened to me!?

"D-Daddy, what happened-" and like a thunder struck, I felt like I can't breathe. Tears started flowing down my eyes and I saw how Lucas' red ruby eyes looked shocked.

I coughed and my eyes widened when I saw blood, Jennette turned pale as for Ejikiel ran to get me a towel, I looked up and saw Daddy, he looked shocked.

I suddenly felt someone holding me, I looked at that SOMEONE and saw Lucas "Ah, gosh." After he said that everything went black.

I opened my eyes, it's already dark. My eyes roamed around the room and I saw Daddy sleeping on the sofa, Jennette slepping on a chair and Ejikiel too, I looked at the terrace and saw Lucas.

Our eyes met and I felt shivers down my spine. Just what happened to me? He walked closer and sat on a chair beside my bed.

"Be thankful that I saved your life, dummy" he said and flicked his finger on my forehead. I groaned a little and gave him a death glare.

"Saved my life? In what way?" I asked him, and he chuckled lightly. "Why are you laughing?" I said in half shout and half whisper tone, I don't want to wake them up.

"If I didn't heal you, you'd be dead by now. So you gotta thank me, yea Princess Athanasia?" He said teasingly, I raised an eyebrow.

"Oh shut up, Lucas. So you're a magician? Then why did you enter the academy?" I asked him, he just looked straight into my eyes like he was reading my mind.

Dude, stop being creepy. T^T

"I'm bored." He just said casually "well then, you gotta sleep and rest Princess" he said and I suddenly felt my body moving to lay back on the bed again, Ah MAGIC! I felt the soft covers on me.

"I can't sleep, I just woke up--" I couldn't finish what I was saying when he started humming quietly, I was very sure that I was the only one hearing him singing.

Ah, that reminds me. T-This is the song that he sang that day! And the same song that's been playing on my mind!

I didn't notice that my eyes were now slowly blinking as he continued humming, his voice was cold yet it feels so warm and comfy. It was like he was comforting me.

I looked at him, and I saw how his red ruby eyes reflected on the moon's bright light. I didn't know why, but I reached my hand to caress his hair and everything went black after that.

It's been 4 days since that incident happened. Everything went to chaos when Daddy found out that I passed out while I was in the academy, it literally felt like he flew his way here!

The principal of this school almost flew his way to the entrance when every teacher started going crazy when they heard Daddy was here.

AND when he saw me, unconcious. Oh god, even if it was Jennette telling me the whole story, I can imagine how scared they were.

"She woke up, but she started crying. Y-Your Majesty--" his voice and whole body was trembling

"I told you, to cure her not bring her pain!" He shouted and the guards took the man away from Claude's sight.

"Your Majesty" Claude's eyes laid on the young man that just walked inside his daughter's room.

"You. Who are you? I don't remember Athanasia being friends with a guy like you." He said in a cold tone, Felix felt the atmosphere changed, but the young man smiled

"I can help her." He said, and the young man walked to Anthanasia "You literally owe me your life, Princess" he whispered before curing the girl.

"I feel sorry, Ms. Adler I'm very sure Daddy created a chaotic first day after our summer break." I looked down.

"Prin-- Ms. Obelia, it's okay. Please don't say sorry. In fact, we should be sorry because we couldn't help you. Good thing Mr. Relish here helped you." She said, I looked up and saw how her face was beaming.

Ah, too shiny. My eyes are going to be blind-

"Well, if that's okay. I'm going now." I stood up and walked to the door and twisted the door knob.

I was quietly walking, I'll just read some books at the library. I looked at my palm and started to open and close it.

If I only know how to do that magic and if I can only control my mana, I sighed and when I looked up, I saw Ejikiel.

"Greetings-- I mean, Athanasia. How are you feeling?" I chuckled, I told them not to treat me like a princess when I'm in here.

"I'm doing fine Ejikiel, how are you?" I asked him, I continued walking and he walked beside me. I admit, when we were kids I had a slight crush on Ejikiel.

I mean, who wouldn't have a crush on him? He's cute, handsome, respectful, a good friend-- Ah! Athy stop oh gosh.

I slowly shook my head. "I'm going to the library, how 'bout you?" I asked him and he just smiled.

Oh well.

I was looking through some books, hmm what am I going to read for today? I want something about magic!

My eyes sparkled when I saw a shelf full of books about magic, this is it Athanasia. You won't be a burden anymore!

My eyes widened, there are.. alot of books.

I kept on looking, when I finally saw book that I was interested in, I looked infront of me.

My smiling face turned into a shock one when I met his gaze. Those red ruby eyes again.

He looked like he wasn't shocked or flustered! Jerk! My heart kept beating loud, why am I even remembering the night that he started humming just to make me sleep!?
