"if that waterspout catches us, the ship will sink!" katzo said with a worried tone and expression.
"Lower the sails!" The captain ordered.
"yes!" katzo nodded and ran out.
"I'll help too!" Gon spoke and followed after the man.
"Me too!" Athanasia declared, following after her Brother.
' dammit! Don't forget me! I'm not so kind of background character!' she thought while running and looking around the ship.
It was messier than she expected.
Everyone, including Gon and Athanasia was busy trying to pull the ropes to lower the sails as they were told but the water and wind was making it harder than it should be.
In another corner, Kurapika and Leorio were standing far from each other, one facing the other as they kept glaring into each other's eyes.
Even when waves hit them, they don't budge.
"Take back what you said! If you do I'll forgive you, Leorio!"
"ha?!You take it back first!"
With that, Leorio pulled out a knife
"then I have to choice."
Kurapika pulled out his own weapon.
Back to where Gon was.
A strong wind hit and some people fell down, well most of them. Leaving a katzo alone to hold onto the rope but poor him. The rope was flying because of the strong wind, katzo Still holding onto it.
I was busy pulling on the rope behind Gon when I saw katzo flying?
' oh my. I forgot this! I need to do something before Gon jumps there!'
I ran towards The flying man and I saw pika with leorio run after him too reaching out to grab him but they were an inch away.
"Damn it!" They both clicked their tongues.
' I'm sorry Gon, I'll take your pla-'

I tripped. On air. I seriously did that infamous move. Here. Right now.
' let's.. Play... Dead. No wait, Gon!'
I immediately stood up and saw Gon jump down to catch Katzo.
"GON!" I yelled as I jumped after him.
I knew that he was going to be safe, but what if my existence changed the plot? What if..?
I held his legs as he held the man's arms.
I closed my eyes tightly.
' please.. Tell me the plot didn't change.. Please!'
Then I felt hands on my legs.
It was Leorio and Kurapika, they saved us!

The sky is finally clear now.
I bit my lower lip and hit Gon on his head "You idiot! What if something happened!? You could have died!" I shout.
"The same goes for you both! You're no different than him, Athanasia!" leorio yelled at me.
' I guess that's true ugh. '
" oh my god. How reckless can you be?" Kurapika said and sighed.
"but still! He did it first!" I pointed at Gon, who just smiled at us.
"But you did catch me" Gon chirped.
"w-well that's true.. " they said with a shocked face.
"Gon!" Katzo ran towards us.
"I'm here too.. " I mumbled but leorio heard me and snorted.
Katzo looked at Gon then At me, "thank you! You guys saved my life. If you weren't there, I'd be dead!" he said while smiling.
"we didn't do it alone " Gon replied and smiled back at him, glancing at Pika and Leo.
"that's true, they both helped us. We all would have died if not for them. " I added.
Pika and Leo looked surprised when we said that.
Katzo bowed and thanked them as well.
"You don't need to thank me. " kurapika spoke up.

"well, I'm glad you're okay " leorio admitted.
Katzo left, kurapika looked at the smiling Leorio then he smiled too.
' there it is, finally. Peace!'
"I apologize for me rude behavior." Kurapika started.
"I'm sorry, Mr.Leorio"
"w-what's with the sudden change..?"
I stepped on Eorio's feet.
"what the-?!"
I glared at him and coughed trying to give him the hint.
"weirdo.. Anyways I apologize as well for what I said. I shouldn't have said that. I'm sorry, Kurapika. And we sound like strangers, just call me Leorio"
"Hehaheabasnklakakaka" that was the captain's laugh.
We turned to face him.
"I like you guys!" he said.
' I like me too, sir. '
"I'll take responsibility for bringing you four to the port closest to the hunter exam!"
"what about your test?" Gon asked.
"Like I told you, it's my decision to make. All four of you pass! "
' I already know but.. Just smile. Smile. Look happy. Smile!'
"Yay!" Gon jumped happily while the others smiled.

Prism - Seekers of Solace (A LitRPG Saga)
The Virtual Revolution is in full swing and empty streets dot the landscape, vestiges of a foregone era. Seeking to escape the harshness of the outside world, humanity has turned to VR. And the unlucky few unable to enter this virtual realm must make do however they can.But Prism, the most advanced VRMMORPG, promises to change all that: countless possibilities, no restrictions, and cutting edge tech that allows even those afflicted by VR Sickness to full-dive into its world.Join Ryan and those around him as they try to find a place to call their own within a game that turns out to be so much more. A game that seems to recoil at the players' mere arrival.Author's Note: The story starts out slower, but the pace does pick up eventually. This is a rewrite of my first and only story & I hope to do it justice. The story follows the journey of a group of young men and women as they begin playing Prism. Fair warning, once we move past the initial arc, there will be POV changes as I move from one party member to another or, occasionally, to the viewpoint of some minor characters.Any feedback or suggestions that you might have are more than welcome!Release Schedule: New chapter every Sunday.Cover Art by: Tsuu ([email protected])Prism's Discord Server.

Ebon Dirge, a fallen devil descended from the highest realms of the divine, is more than happy to accept their payment. Thwarted by the machinations of the mightiest beings in the universe, he is forced to begin anew in the lands of the weakest mortals. To prepare for the ultimate confrontation, he has hatched a plot to steal the best weapon of all: destiny. Whether it is a downtrodden youth in the savage wilds, a prince driven to desperation by the royal web tangled around him, or the students and staff of an illustrious magical academy... all should beware what they wish for. They just might get it. For a price, of course. --- PROGRAMMING NOTE This is a wholly rewritten version of the novel that originally began in 2018, not a copy-paste of those original chapters. ABOUT THE NOVEL Devourer of Destiny is an exploration of cultivation story tropes and foibles. It features: - Cultivation stuff. The story is a satirical take on xianxia and xuanhuan staples and tropes.- An irredeemably evil central character.- Multiple POVs. A lot of them, although the central character remains central and will always have the lion's share. POSTING SCHEDULE TBD. Still working it out.

Up In Space
New chapter every other day Iain Compton never planned to be abducted by an alien spaceship. It just… happened. And now he’s been awakened 22,000 years in the future and half a galaxy away by a pair of oddly human seeming beak nosed aliens and a space ship A.I. that seems to have more than a few screws loose. Oh, and then there's this gorgeous alien woman who he probably shouldn’t trust at all. His plan is to find a way home to Earth, even if its unlikely to be remotely the same; to find a better class of companions among an often strange and inexplicable galactic community, at least one who won’t use him or sell him out at the first opportunity; and to do something about the parasites in his brain who are supposed to connect him to a library the size of the galaxy, but seem to only be telling him that almost everyone and everything he comes across wants to kill him. But at least he can still send tweets.

Small Pond
In a world without systems, levels, or any standard power levels, Faust is a naturally skeptical person who always asks questions first and accepts after he gets confirmation. A lot of it. With some information unknown to the reader, represented as [?], Faust is left to discover who kidnapped him, where he is, if magic exists, and what to do while the reader silently observes him. And as for the YOU dear reader, I'll need your help choosing some things... Small Pond isn't meant to be a high-paced action light novel, but instead, there's a greater focus on world and character building in order to create a greater narrative. Expect the unexpected in this story ;) The release schedule will be paused, for now, I'm going to try and spend some time rethinking the intro and work on school.
