Remember the past. Athanasia.
Athanasia gasped, having the same dream again. She sat up with her hair all over the place. Everything seemed normal but then she suddenly felt something painful in her chest. She noticed that her chest is glowing right where her heart is located.
A sign of a clock appeared on her glowing chest, ticking oh-so-slowly. She stared at the clock in confusion until she was hypnotized. A globe burst out from her body, surrounding her and glowing brightly.
Her eyes began to glow in the dark as she was lifted by the sphere that she made and then...
An explosion happened.
All the guards in the emerald palace immediately rushed to the princess's room only to see the room destroyed or in their perspective, the room looked like a hundred years has passed. There were mosses around the room, the walls in ruins but old, the floors were creaking and dusty. And was filled with insects which some of the guards are disgusted at.
"What happened?!" The king and queen of Obelia arrived in the room and just like the guards, the two also stopped in their tracks and were surprised at what they saw.
There, they saw Athanasia sitting on the now broken bed, staring blankly at the destroyed wall then she regained her consciousness, blinking then gasped in surprise.
"Athy! Sweetheart!" Diana rushed to her daughter despite the weak floor. She pulled Athanasia to a hug. "What the hell happened? Are you okay? You're not hurt right?"
"M-Mom, I'm fine..." Athanasia chuckled, feeling relieved. Thank goodness her mom is here or else she might have panicked.
Claude pulled his family away from the room where it's safe and let Athanasia sit down at a random couch in the hall. The maids immediately went to give the princess a glass of water to calm her down.
Claude stared at his daughter as she got attacked by the crying maids if she's really alright. He gently put his hand on Athanasia's forehead and felt her mana. His eyes widened at what he discovered. "You inherited the time magic, one of the dangerous magics in the world..." He muttered.

"What?" Diana frowned, pulling her daughter closer. "Is it bad? Is it gonna harm our daughter?"
"Not only if she could master it—though it's weird..." Claude hummed, raising a brow, checking her mana more. "It looks like you've been unconsciously using it for like... Years..."
"Years?" Diana and Athanasia simultaneously said, tilting their heads in confusion. They earned a nod as an answer from Claude.
Claude and Diana talked while Athanasia thought about Lucas, she remembered him holding a book about time. Maybe Lucas is also in to this and knows about it, since he also sometimes shows up in her dreams. And maybe he could also help her with it and stop the dreams.
"His majesty is right." Speak of the devil.
Lucas came in the scene and stood behind Claude. His eyes glanced at Athanasia, and she swears that she could clearly see the relief in his eyes—well, that's good to know, Lucas is relieved then that means nothings wrong with her—he faced the emperor back with a serious look on his face.
"I noticed something wrong about the princess when I first saw her, so I immediately went to her side to check what it is and there I sensed a strong mana in her," Lucas explained—it's a half lie of course, Lucas knew about what's happening to Athanasia.
"Is she going to be okay?" Diana asked, earning some nods from the maids.
Lucas nodded with a smile to reassure them. "Yes, your majesty. Just like what the emperor said, if she could master her powers then there's nothing to worry about."
Diana let out a sigh of relief, the guards and maids too. Though Claude never shows it but inside, he is very relieved. Athanasia smiled, giving Lucas a small nod as a thank you.
Lucas nodded back then pointed something as if he wanted to talk to her in private before he left. Athanasia blinked in confusion and also in curiosity. What is it that he wanted to talk about with her?

Whatever it is, this might be a good chance to talk about her powers and her dreams clearly.

"Lucas..." Athanasia called, finally escaped from her family. "I'm here."
Lucas turned around from staring at the huge tree and smiled weakly. "Good."
"What is it that you want to talk about?" Athanasia asked, stopping beside him. She gave him a worry stare, seeing how sad and nervous his expression is. She can't help but worry for him more than her powers and dreams.
Lucas took a shaky breath, biting his bottom lip. "I think it's time for you to tell you the truth..."
"The... Truth...?"
Lucas nodded. "12 years ago, a man named Nicholas was tortured by your father by killing his wife and daughter as he hurt you from the emerald palace's garden."
It was that dream that Athanasia dreamt!
"But before that, on the day of the founding festival, Nicholas met you and saw the future with you, that's the first time that you used your powers with someone. Nicholas saw the future, the future of you destroying the world with your time as you were not be able to master it." Lucas continued. "So he tried to talk to the emperor, your father but he didn't listen and dragged him out of the palace, that's when he met you again and tried to hurt you."
After the deaths of his family, Nicholas seeks for revenge and tried his ways to kill you. But when he was about to kill you, you unconsciously restarted time and went back to the festival, the day you met him."
"But where were you that time?" Athanasia asked, tilting her head. Still confused about the truth she's hearing now.
"We met in the second timeline. Nicholas reached out for me and told me about you. I decided to help him but as I spend my time with you, I didn't get to kill you... Because I have already fallen for you..."
Athanasia felt her face flushed red despite of the seriousness they are having in the garden. She just can't help it.
"I tried to stop Nicholas but then you were killed while protecting me while I could have save myself from that... As soon as you dropped dead, time restarted again... You time travelled 7 times and this it the 8th timeline... 3 times you got killed, 2 times the Obelia was destroyed, 1 time we defeated Nicholas and 1 time I died in front of you..." Lucas pause, eyeing at Athanasia if she remember something and might break down again like what she did when he told her.
But Athanasia was quiet, her lips pursed into a thin line. She quite not get what the older's talking about when she's the one who insisted for him to tell her because she wanted to understand.
But she clearly did not understand.
"This became a loop, if something happens to you or to your loved ones or to Nicholas, time will go back to the festival and you will forget the past timeline." Lucas ended.
This must be a joke. Athanasia thought. There's no way that she has this strong ass powers in her and just loop everything. And destroying the world? What nonsense!
Athanasia shook her head, tears falling down on her cheeks. She don't know why but she felt like crying.
"Princess..." Before Lucas could finish his sentence, Athanasia ran away, leaving him alone in the garden.
There's no way...
There's no way...
What is this..?
Why am I also crying?
