"Evacuate the citizens!! Take them far away from here as possible!!!" The guards yelled from the top of their lungs.
"This way!!"
"Careful miss!"
"Faster!!!"
The citizens of Obelia were in a state of panic, there were a lot of people injured from the blasts of a magician that is currently wreck havoc in the empire.
In the Emerald Palace, Athanasia ran down the hall with worry in her eyes as she ran to a certain room.
She was about to open the door but was met by her husband, holding a baby sleeping in his arms.
"Lucas! Thank goodness you caught her!" She cried as she took their child. "I saw the Palace explode so I ran here as fast as I could."
"She's fine," Lucas, her husband said, giving their child a soft kiss on her forehead. "Good thing that I was around near the palace."
"About the explosion... Do you think that it's ?" Athanasia asked, looking up at her husband grimly.
"There's no doubt that it's him," Lucas nodded. "I can feel his mana around... You need to escape with Attheia, it's dangerous..."
"What?!" Athanasia exclaimed. "You want me to leave you?! Nuh-uh mister! I'm not leaving you here!!"
"Athanasia, it's dangerous!"
"I'm not leaving you here," Athanasia said seriously, glaring at her husband. "Let's do this together.."
"Athy, we're here."
Athanasia flinched, waking up from her dream. "Huh?"
She adjusted her sight and saw her mother sitting across her with a warm smile on her face.
"Mom?" Athanasia groaned as she sits up. "Where are we??"
"We're in a carriage sweetheart," Her mom said with a chuckle. "It's about to park in the plaza, you fell asleep."

Athanasia's eyes widened and let out an awkward chuckle. She forgot that she's going out with her mother and fell asleep. How silly of her.
"Sorry, mom..." She apologized.
"It's okay," Diana replied, smiling at her daughter. "Now we've arrived, let's go shopping!!"
"Yay!!" Athanasia cheered.
The two immediately got out of the carriage, leaving the poor coachman alone with the horses.
Athanasia held her mother's hand tightly in excitement as she saw a bunch of people roaming around the plaza, buying stuff from the vendors.
"Where should we go first?!" She asked, looking up to her mother with beaming eyes.
Diana chuckled at her cute daughter. "Let's go over that one, I saw some cute jewelry there," She said, pointing to a small store with blue and yellow designs on the roof and the tablecloth.
We walked towards there and stare at the pieces of jewelry laying on the table.
"My, you chose the right store!" The owner cheered, showing his best smile. "These jewelry are from different kingdoms, and made from real gems!"
"From different kingdoms?" Athanasia tilted her head. "Are you a traveler mister?"
"I was, but I'm very old to travel now so I decided to stop here and sell some of my jewelry," The vendor answered, smiling at Athanasia.
"That's cool!"
"I know." He chuckled. "Ah, good times. Feel free to look and if there's something that caught your eye then tell me."
Athanasia smiled. "Thank you, mister."
Diana was busy staring at the beautiful accessories on the table, her eyes sparkled in delight as if she wanted to buy everything.
"Do you have something you like mom?" Athanasia asked, pulling her mom out of her trance.
"Oh!" Diana jumped then chuckled. "There's a lot that I liked so much, I can't choose!"

Athanasia laughed. "Me too. This is hard..."
"I know."
Athanasia and her mom continued to stare at the accessories, admiring them and tried them for a bit.
In the middle of her mom putting on a pair of emerald earrings, something caught Athanasia's eye.
With the light of the sunlight, the gem of the jewelry reflected towards Athanasia, causing her to turn in its direction.
A necklace with a cage pendant was staring back at her.
Athanasia walked closer to the necklace and noticed a small meteorite with blue gems in the cage. As she stared deeply at the necklace, she felt a rush of deja vu in her.
"Happy birthday princess."
A blue spark appeared in her eyes, causing her to yelp in pain and surprise. She took a step back, then went back to the necklace.
"Sweetheart?"
Athanasia looked up and saw her mom with worried eyes. "Are you okay?" Her mom asked.
She blinked for a while. "Y-Yeah... Those earrings looked good on you mom!" She immediately changes the topic.
Diana stared at her daughter for a while, noticing something wrong but then smiled, trying to erase the weird feeling. "Really? Should I but this?"
"Yep!" Athanasia nodded.
"Okay, let me call for the owner."
"I'll be waiting here!"
-
"Curse you trash..." He muttered under his breath as he watched Athanasia and her mother moving to another store.
Lucas stood at the top of the clock tower with his black cloak fluttering behind him. He ran his hand through his long black hair, his red eyes glowed red as he caught what happened to Athanasia.
"This can't be..." He sighed, trying to calm his anger knowing who's behind at that.
She saw something that's deeply connected to her past. And that is not good. She can't remember the past.
She can't.
"Athanasia! Please calm down!!" Lucas yelled, staring at Athanasia in horror as she holds a knife, pointing at her chest.
"Don't take another towards me!" Athanasia cried. "If you can't kill me then I'll kill myself."
"Athanasia put the knife down. Please, love... I'm begging you..." Lucas pleaded, tears started to fill his eyes.
Athanasia noticed his tears and let out a sigh, still not putting the knife down. "Lucas... I'm scared..."
"It's okay... I'm here..."
"NO! IT'S NOT OKAY!!" Athanasia yelled at the top of her lungs. "It's not... It's not okay... I'm not okay... Please, let me die..."
"Athanasia..."
"What if mom and dad will die again? What about Ijekiel and Jennette? And you...? If you all die in front of me again... I... I can't take it..." Athanasia squeaked, dropping down the floor as her knees gave up.
Lucas looked down sadly at his lover, he walked towards her and kneeled, wrapping his arms around her.
Athanasia cried in his chest, hugging him close. She misses him and she's afraid to lose him again. She can't afford to see him disappear in her eyes again.
Lucas patted Athanasia's back hoping for her to calm down. He closed his eyes, feeling the tears escaping from his eyes.
Even if Athanasia kills herself, they will still go back from the start.
It's a curse between them.
"I'm sorry love... Sorry..." Lucas whispered.
Lucas bit his bottom lip at the memory. He let out a sigh, looking up at the orange sky with the wind blowing through him.
"I can't let you remember, not now..."
