《" Athanasia " - Lucathy Fanfiction [ REWRITTEN ]》Chapter 8 - You're Welcome

"So this is the academy?" I gasped as I stare at the huge building from the window of the carriage. "It's almost as big as the Emerald Palace."
Ijekiel, who is sitting across me chuckled. "Yeah, I was also shocked at first."
"Will you also give me a small tour of the school?" I asked, curious and excited as I turned to face him.
"If you want to," Ijekiel shrugged. He moved his head to the window to where the coachman is and told him to drive to the academy.
"Yay!" I cheered, clapping my hands in excitement. "I can't wait to see your school Ijekiel!"
"I'm sure that you're gonna like it there."
I nodded in agreement then turned back to the window and watched our carriage approaching the academy. "By the way, I also wanted to meet Kiel's friends here."
"You can meet them if you want. Though I don't know if they're in the academy," Ijekiel said.
"Is that so. I hope that I can meet them."
Not long after, we finally arrived in the academy. Ijekiel gave me a necklace to hide my identity and also a box.
"What's this?" I asked, confused.
"Our uniform, so that you can feel the life of a student," Ijekiel said, as he put on his necklace. "You can change there." He pointed to a changing room for the girls. "I'll be waiting here."
"Okay!" I nodded, excited to open the box to see their uniform. I ran towards the changing room and gasped as I see what's inside.
Is this even a changing room?!!
The room is almost the size of a ball room. The stalls has it's own locker, a rack for clothes and a huge mirror. And it has a huge chandelier at the middle of the ceiling! What kind of changing room is this.
I shook my head to stop myself from gaping at the room and went in a stall to change my clothes. I put down the box on a table which is right beside the rack and opened it.
My eyes widened in surprise as I saw the uniform. It was a white long sleeved shirt with a gold and blue blazer and a red tie. For the bottom, it was a blue ruffly skirt that comes down to my knees with a white peticoat. It also came up with a blue bonnet for the head. It looks to cute!!

I lastly put on my socks and shoes and I'm good to go! I turned around to see myself in the mirror to see if it looks good on me and to my surprise, it did suit me! If I were a student in this school, I might be the popular girl.
I'm just kidding, hehe.
I put my clothes in the box and walked out of the room to go back to Ijekiel. I ran towards him excitedly and tapped his shoulder.
He turned around and his eyes widened as he saw me. "Woah.."
"Do I look good?" I asked, giving myself a twirl.
"Y-You look great!" Ijekiel stuttered, coughing as he avoided eye contact.
"Thanks!" I blushed, smiling. "Shall we go inside! And also, the changing room is so huge!!"
"I know right?" Ijekiel laughed, nodding. "I wonder why they made it so big."
"I was asking myself that too!"
"This is just the start, wait until you see the whole school," Ijekiel said with a wink. "Shall we, m'lady?"
"We shall," I nodded, laughing.
-
I. Am. Shookt.
This school is a whole-ass castle.. no it's more than a castle.
I
mean, how could a classroom be as big as my private library?! And every class has it's own personal garden and training field!! And don't get me started with the cafeteria food!!
"I envy you Kiel," I said as I pouted. "Your school is so huge."
"Well, you own a castle for yourself." Ijekiel shrugged. "Yours is more cooler."
I scoffed rolling my eyes. "Can we eat at the cafeteria later?!" I asked with beaming eyes.
Ijekiel chuckled. "Sure. If you want to."
"Yay!!" I squealed in excitement. "I wonder if they have my favorite cake there?"
"I'm sure that they have it. There's nothing that the chefs can't cook," Ijekiel said confidently, making me scoff.
"Really you. You're so confident with your school."
"Who wouldn't?"
"I hate to admit but you're right."
We're on our way back to the cafeteria for lunch, as we walk in, I still can't help but admire the beautiful recruiter designs of the room. It was a room 2 times more huge than a normal cafeteria. At the center is where the foods are, there are desserts section, salad section, appetizers, etc. anything you want!!

I felt my small bonnet is slowly starting to loose, so I turned to Ijekiel and told him that I'll be going to the bathroom to arrange my bonnet.
"I'll be back in a hurry!"
"Okay!"
On my way to the nearest bathroom, I accidentally bumped into someone and dropped their things on the floor. I panicked and helped the student pick their books up.
"I'm so sorry!! I was in a hurry!!" I apologized as I gave them their books back.
"Princess?"
My eyes widened as I heard what the student called me. I look up to see the person and it's the least person that I wanted to see.
Yes, it was Lucas.
"What are you doing here, princess?" He asked, confused as he accepted the books that I gave him back. "And you're wearing our uniform?" He blinked, staring at me from head to toe. "Not gonna lie, it looks good on you."
I felt my cheeks heat up and look away from his smirking face. "I'm here with Ijekiel. And also, how did you found out that it was me, I'm wearing a magic stone to hide my identity."
"Magic stones can't trick me that easily," Lucas said with a scoff. "And Ijekiel is with you, where is he?"
"He's at the cafeteria," I replied.
"Oh.. right, he was giving you a tour.." He nodded. "But the empress is not with you."
"I planned that I would hang out with Kiel in the morning then with my mom in the afternoon. Why are you so curious?"
"Is it bad to be curious?"
"..... no?"
Lucas smirked in triumph, making me glare at him deadly.
I really hate this guy.
"And I love you too." His voice echoed back in my head, making be blush furiously.
"Oh, your bonnet is about to fall off," Lucas pointed out.
"Ah! I have to go!" I held my bonnet up and was about to run towards the bathroom to arrange my bonnet up but Lucas stopped me, earning a gasp from the other students.
What are they gasping at???
"What is it?!" I asked, annoyed.
He didn't answered and pulled me close to him. My heart starts to beat loudly and my cheeks began to heat back up again as I felt his gentle touch on my hair.
"Stay still," He muttered. "I'll fix it for you."
I did as what I told, freezing on my spot nervously. I noticed that some students were staring at us, some are glaring, some are admiring.
Yah! Mind your own business!!
As Lucas were focused on arranging my bonnet, I started to make a small conversation to lose my awkwardness. "So you're a student here.. I didn't know.."
"Yeah, I was studying for something to prevent something from happening," Lucas muttered. "Geez, why is this so hard to put this on."
I let out a chuckle. "It's not that hard."
"Yeah, sure."
"Though you look very intelligent, I never thought that you still have more stuffs to learn," I said.
Lucas hummed, he looked so focused on putting my bonnet up.
I tried to peek at him and stare at his face. I felt my heart starts to beat more than it already was as I continue to stare at his handsome features.
Oh, he has a beauty mark under his eye. I thought.
"Take a picture, it'll last longer."
"Huh?" I blinked out of reality and found Lucas smirking down at me. He's taller than me too.
I blushed in embarrassment and immediately moved away from him. "I-I was just..." I tried to make up an excuse but my mind went blank.
Lucas chuckled as he watched me having a hard time. I glared at him, my cheeks are still burning red. "Why are you laughing at me?!" I yelled at him, causing more students to stare at us.
"Wait.. Lucas has a girlfriend???"
"I didn't know."
"Did they fight??"
"Not gonna lie, they looked good together."
I heard some whispers from them, making me blush more and hid my face from them.
"They thought that were dating," Lucas whispered at me.
"S-Shut up.." I squirmed.
"Here, let me take you back to Kiel."
"Huh-?"
Lucas put his arm around me and hid me in his blazer. I heard some beating sound in me as I caught a whiff of his scent.
"What are you looking at?" Lucas said coldly at the students, I can tell that he's giving them a death glare right now. "Mind your own business."
And with that, Lucas and I left with his arms still wrapped around me.
"You're welcome, princess," He whispered.

Protagonist: The Whims of Gods
Book one now also on Amazon! After quitting her job as a therapist and grabbing some work at a dog shelter, Tess's life became pretty slow. A tad boring, even. It thus came as no small surprise when she was chosen by a god. Thrust into a new world where magic, monsters, and character levels are suddenly a reality, Tess will quickly find that just surviving can be a challenge. It doesn't help that dark forces are stirring, she's woefully underpowered, and that spiders keep trying to claw her face off. One thing's for certain, though: The possibilities are endless. Will she end up wrestling a dragon? Becoming an arch-mage? Opening a quaint, bookstore, coffee shop, and wine bar for elves? The choice is hers... As long as she can live long enough to make it. Protagonist is a fairly classic LitRPG novel with character levels, classes, stats, settlements, and other LitRPG elements. Unlike a lot of LitRPG stories, while the protagonist has some perks, she doesn't start off overpowered. You can expect to see her struggle as she advances. This novel also takes the opportunity to explore some less frequently seen builds, shying away from any min-maxing. Chapters are about ~2000-3000 words and are released at 8:00am ET every other day.

Take Two!
College student majoring in botany has a fateful encounter with truck-kun while trying to get back in shape after realizing that his freshman 15 turned into the sophomore 20, and then the junior 30. After going through a very amusing(to some) hell, he gets the chance to transmigrate into a body of his own design on a magical world. Playing to his strengths, he chose the Plantkin race, and the new name of Sorrel to match. This is a slow-paced, magical, slice-of-life story with a focus on relationships. There will be sex(I'll try to keep the explicit stuff to a minimum, but it will be there), swearing, really bad jokes, and enough food to spoil your diet. There will not be a lot of action, epic quests to save the world, or anything even remotely resembling a big-bad-evil-guy(a few smaller bad guys, sure. But, no BBEG). Note: This is a re-write of my first story "Congratulations, You're Dead!". And, is much more what I wish I had written in the first place. The characters and the world are very similar, with a few key differences. The story may borrow some elements from Congrats, but should be considered as its own work. Reading Congrats first is not needed, or even reccommended, not unless you want to see some really cringey romance in the early chapters.

The Rising of a God
The story of how William Hughes became the strongest being in the universe. This story is not and will never be written in perfect English. So don't expect too much, but I will always do my best to make it as readable as possible. There will be probably one Chapter per week.
