《The Vampire Titan》Preparations

~Krystalyn's POV~
It was late afternoon, but we still had an hour or two before we left for the fangs.
I was watching the Titans training with the hunters, all except Raven, who was helping the witches with the rest of the daylight protectors. I was amazed by the progress, but tried not to show it.
"They'll be fine," Seth said beside me, and I jumped slightly.
"I know," I lied, hugging myself tightly.
"You're worried," Seth pointed out, chuckling. "It's amazing, the faith you have for them."
"Shut up," I huffed, shooting him a quick glare.
"Krys, they're training with the best Hunters on the planet. They're not normal humans-"
"Starfire isn't human," I told him. "I don't care how confident you are, or they are. If something happens to them, it's my fault."
"Did you try asking them to leave?" he asked, quirking an eyebrow.
"Of course I did," I stated. "They're too stubborn."
"More stubborn than you?" Seth chuckled. "It's about time you got a taste of your own medicine. Besides, even if the rest of the team wanted to back out of the fight, Robin wouldn't let them. You two may not really be dating-"
"How did you-?"
"-but he cares for you; and it's obvious you care for him as well. If we all survive this, you better make sure you don't let him go."
I stared at the dark haired man for a few seconds, studying him. "You know... sometimes you remind me of a madman," I told him, smirking. "But every once in a while, you say something sort of smart."
He did a mock bow, and I chuckled, before lightly pushing him.
"Do you think we have a chance?" I asked seriously. "I don't know if you've noticed, but we're kind of outnumbered."
"But we have more skills," he argued. "More witches, Hunters, humans and aliens... Show some confidence."
I rolled my eyes, and went back to watching the Titans. The Hunters had armed them with wooden stakes, and Robin seemed to be the only one mastering the deadly weapon.
"Watch this," Seth whispered, before running behind Beastboy, who was focusing on aiming a crossbow at a dummy.
"Idiot," I muttered, and he smirked up at me, before screaming in Beastboy's ear.
The green bean got a look of panic on his face, before swinging the crossbow around blindly, causing everyone nearby to duck and cover. Seth doubled over in laughter, and I shook my head.

John glared at his leader, before thumping the back of his head.
"Get out of here, Seth," Jason growled. "Don't you have something to do?"
Cyborg was laughing now as well, and he and Seth high fived.
I could see Robin shaking his head at them, and I sighed, before walking over.
"You guys are doing better," I told him, as we watched Beastboy attack Cyborg and Seth. "Apart from Seth acting like an idiot."
Robin chuckled. "How's Raven?" he asked. "I haven't seen her in a while."
"Last I saw her, she was with the witches," I shrugged. "I think they're almost done, just the fairy vampires left."
"I heard that!" Someone screamed behind us, and I laughed.
"Ignore them," I sighed, after catching Robin's amused look.
"Krystalyn," Starfire called, flying over to us. "Would like to help us train?"
"You've already beat me once," I pointed out. "I think you need to try with a werewolf. What do you think, boys?" I raised my eyebrows at the twins, who exchanged glances, and shrugged.
"Cole!" John called, while his brother smirked.
The werewolf bounded over, running his fingers through his hair as he stopped in front of us. "What's up?" he asked. "Need my expertise?"
"That's one word for it," the twins said in sync.
"The Titans need to practice with a werewolf," I explained. "They've already practiced with vampires."
Cole looked between the team, stopping at Beastboy and Cyborg, who were still fighting, and chuckled. "Alright," he agreed, and shifted into his giant, blonde wolf.
John and Jason stood at the sidelines, ready to jump in if needed.
"On my whistle!" Jason called, putting the orange plastic to his lips. "One. Two-" The shrill sound surrounded us, and Cole immediately leaped towards the Titans, while Beastboy morphed into an elephant.
Cole whined, trying to avoid being trampled, I heard laughter from behind me. The whistle had attracted others to watch, and a few of the wolves, upon seeing their friend nearly trampled, shifted as well, and joined in.
"Dude!" Beastboy shouted. "That's interference!"
It was four against four, but the Titans were holding up well, Starfire shooting starbolts, and easily overpowering the massive animals.
"I should've been born an alien," Katarina said beside me, and I turned to see her and Raven watching.

"How long have you two been standing there?" I asked, looking around for the other witches.
"Just a few seconds," Katarina shrugged.
We jumped back, as Cyborg was thrown a few feet in front of us, and he stood up, shaking his head.
"Just say when you've had enough," John laughed.
One of the wolves, a dark brown one, made a lunge, and Raven held up her hand, surrounding him in dark energy. The wolf clawed at the sheild around him, before Raven waved her hand, and he flung back, falling into two more wolves.
"Nice," Katarina complimented, nodding her head, and Raven had a phantom of a smile, before jumping in to join her team.
Seth appeared beside us, and shook his head. "This is such a disappointment," he sighed, before raising his voice at the wolves. "Come on, you dumb dogs!"
"Ther're going to end up turning against you," Katarina warned, but the dark haired boy just rolled his eyes.
"No they're not," he defended, as one of the twins blew their whistle.
I saw John whisper in Robin's ear, and then a wolves, after seeing the weird snarl-slash-smirk on its muzzle, I took a few steps back.
Katarina gave me a weird look, but stepped back with me.
"Seth, what was that you said about your team never turning on you?" I smirked.
He turned with a roll of his eyes. "It's not gonna work on me," he stated, sticking his tongue out. "My pet doggies love me. Don't you?" He turned, and yelped as Cole charged at him, followed by the rest of the wolves.
"I would really like to feel sorry for you," Katarina grinned. "Really, I would, but you just make it so hard."
Seth started to run, but Katarina mumbled something under her breath, and he landed flat on his face.
I flinched back as five of the wolves landed with a thud on top of Seth, and I could hear him groan in pain.
I glanced up at the Titans, to see them training again, and the twins were openly laughing at their leader.
"They're gonna regret that," Katarina sighed. "As funny as it was, Seth will not be happy. They'll be on gaurd duty for a week."
"Probably," I agreed. "But I'm guessing they don't care."
Katarina giggled, before going to help Seth up.
I watched the Titans train for a little bit longer, occasionly informing them about how the Fangs fought. They really did know how to take care of themselves, and I suppose I really shouldn't be worried, but I couldn't help it. They were my friends, and they helped me. I can worry all I want.
I was too caught up in my thoughts, that it took me several seconds to realize that my communicator was buzzing.
I unhooked it from my waist, and froze, when I recognized my sisters number. "Everyone, stop what you're doing!" I shouted, and waitied for silence before answering the call. "What's up?"
"East end," she said shortly. "Like, exactly East."
"Are you alright?" I asked.
"Obviously, Julius," she replied, and I blinked, confused. "No, no, Alison and Sarah are here as well."
"Oh," I breathed. "Claire, is Sarah on our side? I know you said Damien and her had a thing-"
"Yes," she said shortly.
"And Allison?" I asked. "Can you take care of her?"
She huffed, and I smiled a bit. "Give me a time, and I'll make sure it's done."
My eyes met Seth's, and he held up one finger.
"An hour," I told her.
"Consider it done," she said, and I could hear a faint smirk.
"And Claire," I rushed, "be careful.'
"No, you better," she stated, and hung up.
With a sigh, I turned to the people around me. "There's two other girls with them," I told them. "One is okay, she's on our side, but the other, Claire and Damien are going to take care of her."
"Guess that means we better start gathering everything," Seth sighed. "One hour people!"
One hour. One hour until we test just how strong we really are. One hour until I'm completely done with Jeremy, one way or another.

(A/N)
I know, this is late, and short. But I wanted to do the fight scene in its own chapter(s). I haven't updated hardly any lately, because things have just been busy and stressful lately, so I'm sorry :( There probably will only be a few more chapters of this, really, it's almost over. Let me know what you think in the comments, and I'll post the edited version when I get it :)

Steamforged Sorcery [A Steampunk LitRPG]
This is a fantasy story in a steampunk setting, not a sci-fi. The Great War ravaged the face of the earth many years ago. In the years that passed, the world rebuilt, mixing machinery and magic to form something new. Great blimps took to the sky, belching steam and smoke as metal cities sprouted like weeds below. Angel, a talented mage, scours the desert endlessly in search of lost knowledge. When it unexpectedly falls into his hands, he quickly comes to realize that the world is far larger – and far more deadly – than he ever could have predicted. But no amount of danger is going to keep Angel from seeking out greater strength and traveling the world, claiming all the greatest treasure that it has to offer. To most, the desert is a dangerous threat to be feared. To Angel, it’s a land of opportunity, waiting to be exploited. Steamforged Sorcery is, as the title suggests, a LitRPG Steampunk story with heavy focus on magic and scenery. The main character starts out relatively strong (but far from overpowered) but will eventually grow in strength to incredible levels. It is moderately paced and does not progress at ridiculous speeds. Release Schedule: 1,500 words daily Monday-Friday

8 112Rise of a Scarlet Devil (Regular+Draft Version)
A young girl slain during a war was brought back to life by some unknown force millennia later. She could only remember a vague face within her memories, uncertain as to who it was but there was one thing she did know. She needed to kill that person. But she was too weak, she needed to hide, to grow. She needed to flee from the battlefield her enemy reigns over. And to do so, she needed to run eastward, towards Helios, a safe haven for those who have lost their homes in the war. And where she would grow to become the strongest Hunter under her own strength. What was it that brought her back? Only time will tell. #Author's Note The novel is organized like this:Regular Chapters (Act, Title, Part (ranging from 1 to 9))Draft Chapter DisclaimerDraft Chapters (Entry Number, Perspective, Title, Part (ranging from i to ii)) Regular chapters are edited chapters that reflect the story aspect more while Draft chapters reflect plot progression more. An occasional interactive chapter will appear in the drafts but nowhere in the regular chapters. Expect changes when reading between Regular and Draft chapters as some events in the story may change in length or entirely removed/changed. Only read the draft version if you want a future view and/or opinion on the story and design elements. The main character is a human from a fantasy world reincarnated as a devil. The story possesses Reincarnators, Transmigrators, and Summoned Persons. though mainly focusing on Magic and other abilities such as Aura and Skills. Wizards (those who prepare arcane spells) and Mages (those who use elemental magic) are separate but seen as the same by common inhabitants of the world but clearly defined as different by more influential persons and by the circles themselves. The main character WILL not be a Mage or Wizard but will incorporate mana into her attacks to aid her as does any high-rank combatants. The system in the novel quantifies a person's abilities and keeps record of them but does not define natural ability, occasionally granting special abilities as skills to a person once prerequisites are met. There is no leveling system and no occupational systems in the novel featuring only a stat based and skill based system. Also, this novel is my first and will most likely be trash.
