A week later -

Amber -

Today was the day, my babies birthday. This morning I had fixed his favorite breakfast, and I had surprised him with his brand new Lamborghini truck. I had never seen my boo so happy. He went off to work and I sent Kendrick with him. Basically to keep him busy and make sure he doesn't come home until it's time for the party.

After he left I went and got my hair, nails, feet, and lashes done. Tina and Mark had came over to help me clean, cook, and move the furniture. Mark cleared all the furniture into the basement while I got started cooking.

I had the music blasting some old school house music. Tina was sipping some wine, while I was dancing while cooking.

"You got the Mac and Cheese in the oven right?" Tina asked as she turned the hot chicken in the grease.

"Yes, It's on the bottom, the spaghetti is on the top, I'm finishing up the salad," I said as I grabbed some plastic wrap.

"Okay did Mark ever go get the cooler for the drinks?"

"Yeah it's right here," he said bringing in the cooler.

"The ice is in the freezer downstairs in Jayceon's den," I said as I opened the fridge. The doorbell rang

"I got it!" Mark yelled.

"I hope it's Ari with the cake," I said starting to worry a little. I hoped Jayce was happy with everything I was doing for him. Most importantly I hoped he was excited about what I had to tell him.

My mind was running rapid with thoughts, I was stressing to stay positive I was pregnant I didn't need to be stressing it wasn't good for the baby.

"Girl stop stressing, everything is going in place and he is going to love it," Tina said almost as if she was reading my mind.

I nodded my head as Ariel walked in the kitchen with the cake. "Where you want me to put it?" She asked.

"In the fridge downstairs," I said. Once we got done cooking, I went to go take a shower and got dressed. Tina did my make up for me.

"Amber! Wait until he sees you, his pregnant Queen," Tina said as we giggled. We were in my bathroom and I was looking at my make up. Tina had did the damn thing. I looked damn good, I couldn't wait until my baby saw me.

It was getting later and later and people starting coming. It was 10:30 when Kendrick had called me and said that Jayceon was on his way home. Every body got in place once we heard a car door shut. Kendrick came through the back hurried as he hid behind the couch. Mark hit the lights, and a few minutes later we heard keys jiggle the door opened and Mark hit the lights.

"SUPRISE!" Everybody yelled.

It was well after midnight when the door bell rang. "I got it baby," I laughed to Jayceon as I sat my pop down. I walked over to the door and opened it. A very pretty woman stood before me holding a gift bag. She was wearing a dark hood, and dark make up.

"Hi you here for the party?" I smiled.

"No no Uhm I was just dropping this by. Is Jayceon available?" She asked. I was about to answer when Jayceon came behind me.

"Erica, hey you okay?" He asked as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Yeah I'm good, I just wanted to give you this and tell you happy birthday it's from Harlem,"

"Lil man thinking about his daddy, baby this is Erica, Harlem's mom," he said before kissing my cheek .

"Well I gotta get going I just wanted to drop that off, you guys have a good night," she said.

"Okay be safe," I said as I closed the door.

I went into the kitchen with Jayce we were alone as he opened the bag. He pulled out a card and smiled.

"That was nice babe," I said as I poured me some Kool aid.

"Yeah Harlem made me a card and gave me some of my favorite candy," he smiled.

"Awww he's a sweetheart he loves his daddy, and I love his daddy too," I said as I kissed his lips.

"Yeah that's my lil man, You looking good though baby, Imma kick these bitches out and take you upstairs," he said as he kissed on my neck.

"Baby you are a mess, but I have something important to tell you tonight," I said as he kissed my cheek.

"Damn why you can't tell me now?" He asked.

"Because babe it's a secret," I said in a seductive voice. He smirked and I laughed.

"Something like that," I laughed and he slapped me on my Butt. We partied a little more until everybody started going home. Now me and Jayceon were in our bath tub. I laughed at first but when I seen she was serious I damn near cried. Hell I did cry. "You pregnant for real?" I asked.

"Yes now it's been six weeks," she said as she got up. Grabbing her towel, I got up too grabbing mine. I wrapped it around my waist as I watched her go in her purse. She pulled out some ultrasound papers handing them to me. Tears filled my eyes as I looked at them.

Without even thinking I grabbed her pushing her against the wall, and kissing her. In this moment I knew I had to stop wasting time and make this woman my wife.

"Baby you deserve so much more than just a office and some priest on the internet, I want to give you a big wedding baby but I'm tired of waiting I wanna marry you right now Amber, I was supposed to do this shit on thanksgiving but the shit with my father complicated everything and got in the way, but baby I'm asking you right now, will you marry me?" I asked her as I got down on one knee I reached inside the shoe box under the bed and pulled out the ring box, as I opened it tears fell down her eyes.

"Bitch you done went and got married!" Tina yelled as I showed her the marriage certificate.

"Yes he proposed to me a week ago and the next day we got married downtown, but I am having a big wedding, I can't wait for it," I said smiling from ear to ear.

"I'm so happy for you Mrs. pregnant Taylor," She said as she rubbed my stomach. We both laughed.

"So have you told your mom? Ashley? Do they know?" She asked.

"No they don't, I haven't spoken to Ashley in a few weeks, and my mom in months, I eventually plan on telling them," I said.

"Well either way it goes you know you have my support, I love you and I'm happy for you,"

"Thank you sis," I said as I continued to eat my food. While eating I received a few picture messages from Jayceon.

"Of course," he said kissing my cheek. He laid his head on my chest and I played in his hair, while finding something to watch on Netflix. I settled for a Christmas movie. We watched the movie until we fell asleep.
