Jayceon -

"So you gone get up and go to breakfast with me sleepy head," I said as I yarned while holding my phone. Surprisingly the phone didn't hang up when we woke up we were still on FaceTime.

"Yeah, I slept really good but my back hurts you gonna massage me?" She asked.

"You know I will," I replied.

"Come do it now," she whined.

"You want me to come over right now?" I asked.

"Yes, But Don't gang up until you start driving," she said.

"Alright," I laughed. I got dressed and talked, she told me she didn't want IHOP, she would rather have McDonalds. She told me what she wanted and I grabbed my keys while stepping in my boots.

"When I ring the bell you better answer," I said getting in the car. She laughed and I laughed.

"I'm not playing with you girl,"

"But I'm playing with you," she giggled.

"Iight just wait,"

"What you gonna do Jayceon,"

"Just wait and see, but aye I'm about to start driving I'll see you in a minute lucky charm,"

"Okay," she laughed before we hung up. I went to McDonald's and got our breakfast. Once I did that I put some more gas in my tank and drove to Amber's house. I rang the door bell and a few minutes later she came and opened the door.

"Better had opened the door,"

"Shut up Jayce," I laughed as I followed her to her bedroom. I took off my shoes and sat down on her bed. We turned on a movie and started eating.

Amber -

We had gotten so comfortable that I didn't even realize I was laying my head on Jayce's chest until he wrapped his arms around me and started playing with my hair. I was on my way to sleep when he started talking to me.

"You going to sleep on me sleepy head," he asked as he kissed my forehead. I rubbed his chest a little as I stretched.

"Yeah I'm really tired," I said as he rubbed my lower back.

"Okay getchu some sleep imma go get the kids later on," he said.

"Okay," I pulled the covers up on me a little more. He kissed my forehead, and I rubbed his chest before finally drifting off back to sleep.

When I woke up Jayceon was gone. Just as I text him he texted me letting me know he had picked up the kids. I told him to come pick me up too. I don't know why but I was starting to hate whenever he left me. I loved spending time with Jayceon. I packed me a small bag because I was spending the night.

As I went downstairs I heard Ari moaning Kendrick's name. I almost wanted to throw up. I laughed making it downstairs. I grabbed a bottle of water out of the fridge.

Just as I turned off all the lights Jayceon was pulling in the driveway. It was raining so I grabbed my umbrella. He came to the door and helped me get in the car. When I got in I looked in the back seat. The kids were fast asleep.

Once we made it to the house, I helped Jayceon put the kids to bed. I took a shower and went into the guest bedroom. Just as I laid down and grabbed the remote, King came and crawled in the bed with me.

"Amber I can't sleep, can I sleep with you?" He asked.

"Sure pumpkin," I moved the covers back and he got under them. I turned the tv down a little. Jayceon came in the room shaking his head when he saw king.

"Damn he beat me too it," he said as we chuckled.

"You can sleep with us if you want too," I said moving over to the middle.

"Let me get in the middle," he said. I got out and He got in the middle. I laid down, laying my head on his chest and he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Good night Jayce," I said before kissing his cheek.

"Goodnight Amber," he kissed my forehead and I fell asleep.

"Guys! Breakfast is ready," I said as I turned off the stove. I made pancakes, bacon, and eggs.

"It smells good Amber," Cali said as I handed her a plate.

"Thank you pooh,"

"Can you do my hair later, I'm tired of these two braids,"

"Okay when was the last time you had it washed?" I asked.

"I don't remember, Grandma washed it the last time," she said.

"Okay I'll wash it and style it for you,"

"K," she said as she ate some bacon.

"Boys come eat," I said to Jayceon and the boys as they played that stupid Xbox. He paused the game and they came to eat.

"What y'all wanna do today?" Jayceon asked the kids. I was scrolling through my emails. A few of my students sent in questions about last nights homework.

"Can we go to sky zone daddy?" Cali asked.

"Ooh yeah or to six flags,"

"I don't wanna go to six flags eww," Cali said

"That's cause you afraid of the rides," Harlem smirked. Jayceon laughed and Cali glared at him.

"Don't laugh with him daddy You supposed to be on my side," she pouted.

"I'm sorry baby girl," Jayceon said

"Put that phone down girl I had to turn my game off," Jayce said to me.

"Sorry babe I was reading my students emails I haven't gotten back to them about last nights homework," I put my phone down and he smiled at me the kids all giggled and smiled.

Jayceon -

I don't even think Amber realized that she called me babe. She did it so casually, I honestly liked how it sounded. After we all ate we got dressed, and I drove the kids to sky zone. We were having a really good time, me and Amber and the kids. I was really starting to get a hang of us all hanging out together and having fun.

"Daddy I wanna get some ice cream," California said as we got in the car.

"We gotta have dinner first baby girl,"

"What we eating?" King asked as he leaned up front.

"Boy put your seatbelt on," Amber said in a motherly way.

"Sorry amb," he said getting back in his seat.

"I want to go to Golden Corral Daddy!" Cali yelled.

"Ew Cali no that place is trash," I said.

"Well the only old country buffet I know is really far away, can we please go daddy we never go anywhere I wanna go," she pouted. Rolling my eyes I sighed pulling into the parking lot of the restaurant.

When we got up I guess Amber could tell I was upset she grabbed me kissing my cheek.

"You're a good daddy," she said to me.

"Oh yeah," I said as I kissed her forehead. She grabbed my chin and we kissed.

"Come on cheer up, this is the only place Cali wanted to go," she said.

"Alright,"

"And besides we can always drop them off later and go somewhere else," she said as we laughed and kissed. We went inside the restaurant and I ate bits and pieces of food. Cali however was eating everything. I loved the fact that we could chill and spend time as a family but I was getting a little jealous I wanted Amber all to myself. She was paying attention to these rug rats more than me.

But that's what I loved most about her she took time out with each one of them, of course King always had her heart though. I loved when he laid his head on her shoulder and she kissed his forehead while listening to Cali go on and on about some YouTube channel. Even though she ain't play games like that she was always trying to be in-tune with the newest games so that her and Harlem could talk.

While at the table eating I slipped away to the bathroom calling Mama seeing if she could watch the kids I wanted to spend more time with her. I went back to the table and we finished eating. "Imma drop y'all off at grandmas she said she wanna see y'all," I said as I backed out of the parking lot.

Amber was still in her phone again texting and laughing. It was low key pissing me off because what nigga was she entertaining other than me?

"Who you over there texting?" I asked.

"My girls they are so hilarious," she said laughing.

"Tell they ass you with me," I said angrily.

"Boy don't be yelling at me," I laughed as she rolled her eyes. I dropped the kids at mamas crib, and we went to Walmart to grocery shop.

"What do you want me to cook babe? Tacos, steak?" Amber asked me as we walked down the aisle. I grabbed two Hawaiian punches and put them in the cart.

"It don't matter baby, what you in the mood for?"

"Tacos honestly," she said as she grabbed the soft shells.

"Get everything we need imma get some other stuff," I said

"Okay,"

After we got everything we needed, I paid for it and we got in the car. I went to the gas station and filled up my tank, then we went back to the house.

Amber -

After putting away groceries, I got settled in the guest room. I took me a shower and changed my clothes. When I went downstairs Jayceon was playing injustice 2. He was being loud as hell talking to Kendrick on video chat. I gave him a beer and got started cooking the tacos.

"Baby how many tacos do you want!" I yelled.

"Three!" He yelled back. I fixed our plates and we started eating. I went through the dvds and we settled for Martin reruns.

"These tacos was good baby," he said as he grabbed our empty plates.

"Thank you boo," he went in the kitchen and came back with another beer. I climbed in his lap and We cuddled on the couch with the fire place going and a throw blanket hanging over us.

"I been thinking maybe I could get you a whip I don't like that you be on the bus and taking Uber's," he said to me.

"Babe you don't have to do that, I don't mind public transportation and Uber isn't that expensive," I said as I turned to face him.

"Aye what I say, I don't want you on no bus girl, and that's the end of it," he reached over on the night stand he grabbed his phone.

"Baby I'm serious," I said.

"I'm serious too, you heard what I said babe, my decision is final," he said I chuckled because he really thought he had put me in check or something.

Sighing I leaned more into him and he rubbed my thighs. I had to close my legs when he was trying to move his fingers deeper in between my legs.

"Jayceon you better stop," I said to him.

"Stop what I ain't did nothing baby," he grinned.

"I told you it's not that easy Jayce, this is why I sleep in the guest room you don't know how to behave," I said as he started pouting. I couldn't help but laugh. He came and buried his head in my neck .

"Mmm bae you be smelling and looking so good a nigga don't be knowing how to act, But I told you imma work for it, imma wait, even though this shit killing me and I want you now man," he said giving me the most sexiest look ever as he bit down on his bottom lip. I swear if he kept looking at me like that I was going to give in. Be strong girl. Don't give up. I said to myself.

"Okay but I'm going back in the guest room tonight," I said about to get up.

"No bae, sleep with me," he whined. Rolling my eyes he turned off the lights and we cuddled. He nibbles on my ear, and my neck. We started play fighting which led to us now in bed making out. I had to be honest with myself I wanted Jayceon bad, sooner or later I was gonna give in. I just had to make him wait a little while longer.

We pulled away from the kiss and he looked me in the eyes with so much lust and passion. "I swear imma marry you, I don't know when but I'm putting that ring on yo finger," he said with so much confidence. I wanted to believe him, for God's sake I hope he was telling me the truth.
