《22 Letters✓》Chapter 4: Stalker Alert!!

I was eating lunch with Derek and Cecelia, secretly admiring Nathan from afar. He placed the letter I had written him aside as he ate his taco. I was relieved he focused on food first, rather than my shitty plan.
"Earth to Leon."
I returned my focus on Cecelia, who had put her book down. "I know you did something to that boy."
"I didn't do anything bad." I took a sip of my drink. "I just did something real dumb."
"Like you always do," Derek mumbled. "What did you do to the guy?"
I wanted to respond, but my eyes averted to Nathan. I held back a small gasp as he began reading my letter.
His eyes furrowed in confusion, and I realized what I did wrong. I should've been less serious and more funnier. Maybe that would draw less confusion.
I watched as his cheeks tinted a little pink: did I just make Nathan blush??
"Why the hell are you staring at him like a mad man?" Derek asked me.
I looked away from Nathan and looked at my friends.
"Okay, so I may or may have not broken into his locker-"
"You did what?!" Cece looked disappointed.
"And I placed a letter in his locker telling him he has a secret admirer," I finished while Derek laughed.
"This is interesting." He grinned.
"I know I shouldn't have, but it's better than actually going over to him and saying, 'hey, I like you. Like me back.' did you want me to do that?"
"Of course not, but you just gave a lot of stalker vibes right now." Cece shrugged. "Nathan probably wouldn't like that."
"But it looks like he does," I replied, grinning a little.
"I'll go ask him." Derek said way too quick and stood abruptly to go to Nathan's table.
I face palmed myself and watched Derek and Nathan talk to each other. All the while, Derek was smiling, and I felt real good about myself.
When he came back, Derek beamed at me. "Keep up the good work, Leo, and you might not show your body at school."
I felt happy inside. If Nathan wasn't bothered by this letter, maybe I should continue the letters.
Day 1 complete, 23 left to go.

The Dungeon Hive
One thing I noticed about most dungeon stories is that most races mistakenly believe that dungeons have a hive-mind and I go, “That make sense.” Considering the various powers and how big dungeons can get, wouldn’t it make more sense for them to have a hive-mind? So this is it; my take of the world’s first dungeon and the hive that controls it. Watch as it stumbles, fall, survive, strive and…procreate? Watch as it changed the world of Ioplon…for better and for worse. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For edited version of the story, the full trilogy (Book_1: Fantasy Begins, Book_2: Dungeon Flames, Book_3: Spread of the Dungeons) are now available on Amazon. Please take a look, and leave a rating. Thanks
