《The Leap [✔]》Glimpse 2: Wedding Bells

Austin wraps his arm around my forearm, walking into the reception. It's decorated with balloons, and a white and gold home made sign that says "Congratulations to the Bride and Groom" hangs over the stage in the back corner.
Andrea spots us, striding forward. Her face is flushed, likely with all the excitement.
"There you two are," she smiles. "Let's get some pictures with all of us and the bride and groom."
She gestures to Logan and Cassie, standing with the photographer and my parents and Andrea's parents. Cassie is in a cream white cream that flows to the floor, her hair in a crown braid. She holds a bouquet of lilies in her hands one hand resting on Logan's chest. My brothers are all wearing tuxes start crowding around them, laughing and joking.
"Come on, before everyone starts drinking and acting foolish," Andrea says, taking my arm.
Austin laughs, following closely behind. "Drunk pictures are the best."
Logan smiles at the sight of us.
"Congrats big brother," I say, and he wraps his arms around me and pulls back. Jude, the best man, peers over his shoulder.
"I heard you laugh when I couldn't find the rings," he informs me, glaring at Austin and I. Jude, being the goof he is, misplaces the rings Logan entrusted to him. He searched all of his pockets, empty handed. It turned out Jude had given Dad the rings for safe keeping.
"You're a lucky guy," Austin comments, chuckling.
Jude rolls his eyes and opens his mouth to speak but he's interrupted by a shriek. 8 year old Joey pushes through the crowd, his tux tie undone. He looks up, a crooked smile inching across his face. There is a small red stain on his shirt, fruit punch no doubt.
Our mom comes over, narrowing her eyes at Joey. He inches away from her. "Joey, what did I tell you about getting your shirt stained?"

"Not to?" He says, offering a small apologetic smile.
My mom rolls her eyes. "Go get your suit jacket. We're about to take pictures," she says, and turns to me as Joey runs off. "I don't know what I'm going to do with that boy."
I laugh. "Dress him up and can't take him no where," I say and she laughs, agreeing. The photographer begins to huddle us together. Logan and Cassie in the centre, next to both sets of parents. The rest of us, my brothers, Andrea, and I listen to Jack, the photographer as he tells us where to stand.
I end up by Andrea, who is smiling like a mad woman.
"Can you believe they finally tied the knot?"
"I like to think its because of us," I say, laughing.
It is really. I mean, if we didn't come become friends, they likely never would gotten to know each other.
Jack tells us to focus on him. "Smile!"
I smile and notice Austin standing awkwardly to the side. I wave at him.
"Austin, come get in a picture," I say, gesturing for him to come stand by me.
He shakes his head.
"Austin, get in the picture," Logan says, smiling. "You're family, man."
Austin grins, walking over to get in the picture. He wraps his hand around my waist and Jack snaps a few more pictures before letting everyone disperse.
Quinn groans and stands beside me, scratching the back of his neck.
"I hate weddings," he says, and I roll my eyes.
"You hate everything," I point out.
He only shrugs and walks away, headed for the tables of food.
Austin chuckles. "When do yours brothers plan on spiking the punch?" he asks, leading me over to the dessert table.

"Mom and dad told them not too, because of Quinn," I say, gesturing to him. He's had an issue with alcohol, so they try not to have much around him. It hard not to have alcohol at a wedding though. "Though if you ask Owen or Jude, they likely have some stashed somewhere."
Austin laughs and we sit at a table, along with Andrea and a few other people.
"Any plans for the summer?" Andrea asks, leaning back in her chair. Our dresses are the same pastel pink, the dresses Cassie picked for her bridesmaids.
Austin, Andrea, the twins, and I are home for the summer, Andrea and I just finishing our second year of university.
I shrug a shoulder. "I have a couple summer classes, but other than that it will be nice to relax," I say, and glance at Austin. "And, it'll be nice to catch up with everyone." He laughs and Andrea groans.
Ben and Aiden walk up with drinks in their hands, Ben sitting down across from Austin.
"Andrea, would you like to dance?" Aidan asks, offering his hand to my best friend. Andrea grins, touching her heart and taking his hand. They walk off to the dance floor, where and the bride and groom are along with Joey and Isabella, who are dancing their hearts away.
Aidan hasn't been doing too well in school, freedom getting the best of him while Ben is on the Dean's list.
"Hey, there's Whitney," Ben says, smiling. He waves to her, and she wanders through people on the dance floor toward us.
"Emma! It is so great to see you!" she says, pulling me into a tight hug.
"What am I, chopped liver?" Ben asks, earning a eye roll. Whitney grabs her boyfriend by the arm, pulling him from his seat.
"Lets dance," she says, smiling.
Austin glances at me. "We better go show them how its done," he says, pulling me up. We move to the dance floor, and I nuzzle into his neck. Its a miracle that I'm dancing, only a few years ago the doctors saying there is a small chance I would never walk again.
"You know, I don't think I told you, but you're beautiful tonight," Austin says into my ear.
"And you are handsome," I say, chuckling.
"And I was thinking, it would be amazing to spend the rest of my life with you," Austin says, pulling back to face me. We stare into each others eyes. "I love you, Emma."
"Are you asking me to marry you?" I ask, raising a brow.
He smiles, nodding. "Someday, I will ask you properly. Its what I gave you that promise ring for," he says, and I glance at the ring on my finger. "I'd ask you right now, but I don't want to steal Logan's and Cassie's light."
"Its okay," I say, and kiss his lips. "Yes."
"What?"
"Its a yes," I say, kissing him again. "Of course I'll marry you. Anywhere, anytime."
Austin grins, leaning down to kiss me again but someone clears their throat. Jude stands behind us, his arms crossed.
"There are kids present," he says, a small grin spouting. "Just a friendly reminder to keep things PG."
I kick my foot out, and my big brother leaps away, laughing.
"Don't do anything I wouldn't do," he says, pointing his finger at us as he backs away. Austin and I laugh. We continue to dance late into the night, laughing and joking with our friends and family.
