:
Yuri woke up cold, without the warmth of someone next to her, she groggily sat up and rubbed her eyes, not surprised when she saw Natsuki wasn't there. Yuri turned to see if she was in the bathroom, only to dismiss the thought when the bathroom door was wide open, revealing an empty bathroom. She almost jumped out of her skin when she saw the bedroom door wide open, the handle completely bent and broken. Yuri got up in disbelief.
"Did Natsuki do that..?" Whispering Yuri.
Just then, a half asleep Sayori and Monika walked towards their bedroom. Monika and Sayori calmly waved to Yuri as they saw her standing in the doorway, while yawning and rubbing there eyes. Yuri just awkwardly waved back, knowing they hadn't realised the broken door yet.
"Hey Yuri..." Said Sayori now rubbing both of her eyes in a cute manner.
"Wait...didn't I lock the door?" Asked Monika now with a face expression just as shocked as Yuris.
"I believe so..." Said Yuri
"Holy sugar plum fairies! What happened to the door?!" Yelped Sayori rushing to the scrunched up and bended door handle.
"No not the door handle!!" Almost pleaded Monika looking at the broken lock hole in the doorframe.
"What the hell happened?!" Asked Sayori a little completely shocked.
"I-I don't know! I-I just w-woke up and it was like this..." Said Yuri waving her hands around defensively.
"Yuri...why don't you have a top on?" Asked Monika getting the attention of Sayori, now both of them having an evil smirks on there faces. Yuri's whole body turned red and she frantically tried to cover herself up.
"I-I w-was getting changed w-when I noticed the door! When I walked here to close it, you two were also here!" Said Yuri feeling very flustered and a little bad for lying.
"Damn it! I thought you and Natsuki finally did someone interesting!" Huffed Sayori.
"It's ok, maybe next time." Said Monika patting the pouting Sayori.
"C-Can y-you p-p-please not talk like that!" Stuttered Yuri redder there a tomato.
"Sure whatever, just go put a t-shirt on." Said Monika waving her hand signaling Yuri could go. Yuri did so, turning around and putting on a very baggy plane black t-shirt, that would be a dress for Natsuki. When Yuri got back to her friends they were smiling widely with smirks and it scared Yuri to the core.
"Yuri~?" Asked Sayori, a dramatic shadow falling over her eyes.
"Y-Yes?" Asked Yuri slowly stepping away.
"Why do you have scratches on you back~?" Coyly asked Sayori. Yuri's face turned red, very very red, a very very very guilty looking red, someone who has something embarrassing to hide kinda red.
"Well~? We're waiting for an explanation~?" Purred Monika. Yuri took a few deep breaths to calm herself down, before coming up with a half lie to tell her friends.
"Natsuki had a nightmare last night...I hugged her to try and help but she clinged on like some kind of monkey and ripped through my shirt, scratching my back." Said Yuri looking down hoping they bought it. When she looked up she saw both of her friends with worried expressions.
"I-I don't think s-she knows she hurt me, so please keep it a secret." Begged Yuri, not lying about this part.
"Do you know what she was dreaming about?" Asked Sayori a hand over her mouth in shock. Yuri just nodded no.
"What could it be? I wonder...could it have something to do with why she fainted a few days ago in the closet?" Speculated Monika holding her chin with.

"I-I don't know, b-but if Natsuki wanted us to know, s-she would have told us." Said Yuri, speaking the truth.
Everyone looked at the floor subconsciously now worried about Natsuki but then Sayori jolted up making Yuri and Monika also jolt in surprise.
"Sayori? What's up?" Asked Monika.
"I SMELL WAFFLES!" Shouted Sayori before ninja running down the hall and down the stairs at the speed of light before anyone could stop her.
"Sayori slow down! You'll hurt yourself!" Yelled Monika chasing after her, but running like a normal person.
Yuri just sighed before calmly walking to the stairs, her friends long gone.
When Yuri walked downstairs she almost laughed at the sight of her friends. Sayori was trying to take the huge stack of waffles from Natsuki, but Natsuki used one hand to keep the waffles away from Sayori while the other one was smooshed into Sayori's cheek to keep her away. Monika was calmly sitting at the already layed out table, like nothing was happening. Yuri giggled as she walked over to behind Sayori and pulled her away form Natsuki.
"Yuri noooo! Let goooo! Must! Have! Waffles!!!!" Begged Sayori still trying to reach Natsuki.
"Thank you Yuri. At least here is useful, unlike a who remains unnamed." Said Natsuki looking at Monika.
"You broke my door Natsuki, why would I help you after that?" Said Monika crossing her legs.
"You can't prove that was me, it was like that when I woke up." Smirked Natsuki shrugging her shoulders innocently, because she cleaned the handle before breaking it and wore gloves when she commited the crime.
Monika gave Natsuki a death glare so terrible it made everyone in the room freeze as if they were turned to stone.
"Well then? Shall we eat?" Happily said Monika quickly changing her face expression to kind and loving smiled.
"Ok." Said everyone in the room in sink.
"Monika I don't know which is scarier, your death glare or unreadable smile." Said Natsuki placing a lot of waffles of everyone's plate evenly.
Yuri nodded and so did Sayori, completely agreeing with her before Sayori started to gobble down the woffles like a lunatic, drowned them in maple syrup, chocolate spread and ice cream, which Natsuki was kind enough to lay out on the table.
Monika did the same as Sayori but in a smaller amount, Yuri only used a bit of maple syrup and Natsuki did the same as Sayori. Needless to say, everyone was satisfied once they had finished.
"Damn Natsuki...you know how to cook." Said Sayori holding her fist up so Natsuki could fist bump her. Natsuki did so with a proud smile on her face.
"Of course I do. Your looking at the one and only Natsuki." Smirked Natsuki.
"I thought it was delicious Natsuki, but sorry I couldn't finish it." Politely said Yuri with a small smile as she nearly placed her cutlery on the plate that only had 1/4 of the original waffles remaining.
"It's fine stupid! But if your not gunna eat it, can I?" Asked Natsuki with wide eyes licking her lips.
"Wait! Your still hungry?!" Asked Sayori in shock, not even she could eat anymore.
"Duh, why else would I be asking for more?" Said Natsuki sliding her plate to the side as Yuri slid Natsuki hers, it helped that they were opposite each other.
Natsuki hummed happily as she started to finish Yuri's pancakes, but Yuri started to blush when she realised Natsuki was using her fork.

'Oh my gosh! That's an indirect kiss!' Said Yuri screaming to herself, feeling embarrassment crawl to every corner of her body.
"Hey Natsuki, do you want any help cleaning up?" Asked Monika as Natsuki started to pile up all the plates on the table.
"Nah it's fine, I got it, you and Sayori can just go upstairs and do your own thing." Said Natsuki lifting up the stack of plates.
"Are you sure?" Asked Sayori as her and Monika both got up.
"Yeah I'm sure, go have fun and stuff." Said Natsuki walking towards the kitchen.
"Ok, we'll see you guys when we're done." Said Monika walking away with Sayori.
Yuri gave them a small wave goodbye, before turning and seeing Natsuki staring at her frowning, Yuri stared back and Natsuki just disappeared into the kitchen. Yuri was confused, had she done something wrong? Yuri decided to carry the rest of the things on the table to the kitchen to help Natsuki and walked over to the kitchen. When she walked in she saw Natsuki already at the sink cleaning up the plates.
"Hey Natsuki, where do I put these things?" Asked Yuri.
"Just put them over there." Said Natsuki pointing to a counter, not facing Yuri. Yuri did so.
"I-Is there anything I can help you with?" Asked Yuri.
"No. Just go." Bluntly said Natsuki.
"...have...h-have I d-done something to upset you..?" Asked Yuri a little worried placing a hand on Natsukis shoulder. Natsuki pushed Yuri's hands away before turning to face Yuri.
"No! No, you haven't done anything." Said Natsuki looking at the floor.
"T-Then, what's troubling you?" Asked Yuri in a soft comforting voice.
"Yuri...I hurt you yesterday and it makes me feel like shit." Said Natsuki looking at the floor. Yuri just slowly wrapped her arms around Natsuki, giving Natsuki the choice to push her away, but she didn't. Yuri calmly wrapped her long arms around Natsukis small body, Natsuki practically melted into it before returning the hug.
"It's ok Natsuki, I'm fine, what's more important is if your feeling ok." Said Yuri slowly stroking Natsuki's soft pink hair.
"...the pains stopped thanks to the painkillers, but I still feel like shit." Whispered Natsuki.
"You don't have to feel bad, there nothing but a few red marks now. No harm done." Said Yuri with a smile.
"Yuri, I made you bleed." Said Natsuki moving her hands up Yuri's shirt to caress the scratch marks.
Yuri almost jumped and couldn't stop shivering at Natsuki's soft touches, her back slightly arched as shivers ran up and down her spine. Both Natsuki and Yuri were blushing, there breathing became hitched and started to hold each other tighter. They stayed like that for a while until Natsuki fully registered what she had just done and frantically pulled away form the hug.
Yuri surprisingly whimpered a little not liking the sudden lack of warmth.
"S-Sorry! Did I hurt you?!" Asked Natsuki in a panic.
"N-No! No you didn't, I-Its fine." Said Yuri, trying to think of a distraction to change the subject. Natsuki beat her to it thank god.
"H-Hey Yuri, should I help you colour in the banner and stuff, so then I can teach you how to make cookies?" Asked Natsuki with a wobbly smile, mentally praying Yuri played along.
"R-Really? Are you sure you want to help me again?" Asked Yuri in disbelief, thinking yesterday's fun with Natsuki was a one time thing.
"Yeah why not, I'd be done with the cookies in no time anyway and you could use a certain talented artists help, no?" Smirked Natsuki flashing her canines and pointing to herself like a proud little bean. Yuri giggled.
"Well ok then oh mighty artist, come and help me please?" Asked Yuri.
"Just saying I'm not helping because I want to. It's got nothing to do with you, got that!" Ordered Natsuki.
"Y-Yes!" Said Yuri.
Yuri and Natsuki had finally finished the banner. The base of the banner was pure black card with fancy white writing. Natsuki and Yuri had done many different decorations like a cartoon Shakespeare, some well known anime characters, cartoon characters, books, a rainbow, clouds, stars and hearts. All in all, it looked pretty freaking cool.
"Not to shabby, if I do say so myself." Said Natsuki putting her hands on he hips.
"Did we have to put the anime characters on it?" Asked Yuri still not fond of the idea.
"Hey! Don't forget your still a closet weeb! You and many others need to bloom into true weebs! This will attract and lure in our bretherin!" Said Natsuki dramatically pumping her fist into the air.
"Quick question, is there anything over a weeb?" Asked Yuri hoping there wasn't.
"Yep, they are known as Otakus." Said Natsuki like it was common knowledge.
"What's the difference between an otaku and a weeb?" Asked Yuri. Natsuki spread he arms in the air like a starfish.
"PRESENTATION!" Shouted Natsuki smiling proudly. Yuri started to laugh.
"Oh my god! Ha! Did you just quote Megamind?!" Asked Yuri giggling between words.
"So what if I did?" Said Natsuki crossing her arms faking to act serious.
"Seriously though, what's the difference?" Asked Yuri smiling and slightly tilting her head in curiosity.
"Otakus watch the anime and read the manga but are a lot more obsesive." Said Natsuki.
"How so?" Asked Yuri, cutely tilting her head to the side.
"They collect !" Said Natsuki seriously.
"Everything?!" Exclaimed Yuri in disbelief.
"Yep. Everything. From all the manga volumes to body pillows, posters, keychains, plushies, action figures, badges and sometimes even cosplay. There is a lot more on the list but you wouldn't understand." Said Natsuki crossing her arms.
"But how do they live?! Some of the merchandise for popular animes are really expensive!" Said Yuri with wide eyes. Natsuki shrugged.
"Who needs food when you got anime." Shrugged Natsuki.
"On my opinion it sounds a little stupid to obsess over fictional characters like that." Said Yuri.
"Don't let Monika catch you saying that, it might make her contemplate her existence." Laughed Natsuki.
"What do you mean?" Asked Yuri in pure confusion.
"Nothing important, now come on! It's time we make some fucking cookies!" Said Natsuki dashing to the kitchen. Yuri followed unsure of anything Natsuki has said in that whole conversation.
The whole time while they were baking, Yuri was non stop blushing. The reason being she constantly needed help, so Natsuki was incredibly close to her the whole time, helping her measure the ingredients, mix them together, so pretty much everything. The only time she got some space to breath was when they were shaping th cookie dough. Yuri was given a cookie cutter from Natsuki so she could do it on her own. Needless to say, Yuri gave one huge sigh of relief.
"Wow, did we have to triple the amount?" Asked Yuri astound by the army of cookies waiting to be cooked.
"Yep. We don't know how many Sayori will take." Said Natsuki dumping her dirty dishes in the sink.
"Ahh I see, better safe then sorry then?" Said Yuri doing the same as Natsuki.
"Yep." Natsuki walked over to the preheated oven and began putting the trays in.
"How long will it take?" Asked Yuri leaning backwards on a counter.
"Believe it or not, they only take ten minutes." Said Natsuki closing the oven and putting the timer on.
"Wow, that's good. Can I have one once they are done?" Asked Yuri.
"Sure, but you'll have to be faster than Sayori and you have to help me clean up." Said Natsuki begining to clean the dishes. Yuri dried all the dishes Natsuki cleaned and by the time they finished putting everything away and cleaned all the surfaces, the cookies were ready.
They shut the door before opening the oven in hopes of stopping the smell form reaching Sayori too fast. Natsuki turned off the oven and pulled out her fierce army of cookies! Yuri eyed them like they were worth more then her life while licking her lips. Natsuki couldn't help but find Yuri a little sexy when she did that.
"Let me guess, you wanna try one?" Asked Natsuki. Yuri nodded like her life depended on it.
"Ok then, take which ever one you want. Just be careful, it's hot." Said Natsuki giving Yuri and oven clove so she could hold the scorching hot cookie. Yuri blew some air on it before nibbling at the cookie, trying not to burn herself.
"Well how is it?" Asked Natsuki after Yuri finished eating.
"All soft and runny with chocolate on the inside but crunchy on the outside. Overall perfect and dangerous to give to Sayori." Said Yuri giving Natsuki a thumbs up.
"Don't forget you helped too dummy." Said Natsuki nudging Yuri. Yuri couldn't help but smile like a five year old being given a kinder egg at what Natsuki just said.
"Well you did have to help me throughout the whole thing." Said Yuri blushing.
"Regardless you still made it with your bare hands! I only showed you how." Said Natsuki flashing her sharp teeth.
"Y-Yeah, w-when you put it like that... I-I guess so." Said Yuri trying not to laugh.
Just then Yuri and Natsuki heared a big thump and crashing noise.
"W-What was that?" Asked Yuri a little scared.
"Yuri..." Said Natsuki looking like she saw a ghost.
"Y-Yes?" Asked Yuri.
"Hide the cookies."
"W-What?
"HIDE THE COOKIES!!" Yelled Natsuki, making Yuri jump.
Just then they heared thumping and more crashing coming from upstairs and moving closer. That's when Yuri understood and frantically hid the cookies in the highest place possible and got into defensive positions for what was to come. The thudding only got louder and louder, coming closer and closer.
"It's Sayori isn't it?" Asked Yuri in a melancholy voice.
"Yep. Brace for impact!" Said Natsuki. Just then Sayori kicked down open the door.
"COOKIIEEES!!!" Screamed Sayori practically pouncing, but was pulled back by Monika grabbing her waist.
"Sayori chill out! You'll only get one if your good!" Shouted Monika making Sayori freeze in place.
"If you say please I'll consider giving you two cookies." Said Natsuki. Sayori's face lit up.
"Please! Please! Please! Can I have a cookie!??" Begged Sayori and put her hands together as if she was praying.
Natsuki nodded signaling Yuri that she could get Sayori two cookies.
They did so and watched as Sayori melted at the pure deliciousness.

Hello ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to my first attempt at writing a novel. I am preparing to participate in the 2017 NaNoWriMo event so enjoy the first chapter as that's here early only to ensure that I have a place to post once the event starts. This means the first novel/book will have a target of 50,000 words. I'm excited to attempt this challenge despite the hurdles I will have to overcome. I do have a demanding full time job so planning time to write and make weekly releases starting in November will be my biggest challenge. Also, please accept my apologies on my cover. I'm not an artist and the only digital tool available at my disposal is the stock microsoft paint. So I did my best to create a decent cover as I did not want to steal the work of another. If there are those interested by the end of November in donating a new fan made cover then I will look into replacing the old cover.
