Warning:
On most days it was just Monika and Sayori taking a peaceful walk to the street where they both lived, because they were actually neighbors, literally opposite each other. But today they were walking home with Sayori's childhood friend MC, which Monika didn't like at all. The whole time he was being very self obsessed, making everything in the conversation about him. He was also very blunt and extremely rude, not really caring how he made Sayori feel, even though it was painfully obvious how bad he made her feel. It hurt Monika to see Sayori try so hard to please such an oblivious guy, after all, Monika liked Sayori a little more then she should. But she knew Sayori wouldn't like her in that way, so Monika swore she'd never try anything, It wouldn't be fair on Sayori. So Monika hid how pissed off she was at this guy by doing her signature smile no one could read or see through.
"Hey MC would you mind coming over too my house today? There is something I need to tell you." Politely asked Sayori, in a slightly shy tone, grabbing onto MC's oblivious arm.
"I don't know Sayori, I have some stuff to do." Said MC turning the back of his head, turning it so Sayori couldn't see his smirk.
'That bastard wants her to beg.' Thought Monika now more disgusted then ever.
"Please MC! It will only take a minute! Besides you live next door so it's not like you'll be that far away from your home! Pleeeeaaaasssseeee?" Said Sayori with her puppy dog eyes. Both Monika and MC grew a very faint blush.
"Sure I guess", said MC rolling his eyes and sighing.
"Hey Sayori I thought we were gonna study together today?" Said Monika not sure she wanted them alone together. She saw MC glare at her a little, but she just smiled, bretending to be oblivious.
"Well why don't you just come around after we've finished? I'm sure that won't be a problem, right Sayori?" Innocently asked MC. Sayori looked a little conflicted, but made her choice.
"Ok sure! I'll text you when we're done, then you come with all the revision stuff Moni!" Smiled Sayori.
"Sounds good Sayo." Smiled Monika, secretly feeling sad. The nicknaming got on MCs nerve, causing yet another glare to sprout from his eyes. Before they knew it, they all arrived home. MC went with Sayori to her house while Monika went to hers.
Monika made sure to stay right buy her kitchen window, which had a clear view of Sayori's house, so when he left, Monika would know. Too her surprise, MC left the house not even twenty minutes after he entered. She decided to wait for Sayori to text her, after 10 minutes of waiting, Monika began to worry.
"Hmm... Ok, do t worry Monika, maybe she's just snacking..." Thought Monika putting her phone away.
"If she doesn't text in the next five minutes I'm going over." Said Monika speaking to herself.
Five painfully long minutes finally passed and Monika packed all of the study books, she swiftly made it to Sayori's from door in a mater of seconds and knocked on the door twice as fast. She got no response. Monika knocked again but louder, still no response.
'Ok now I'm worried.' thought Monika as she opened the unlocked door letting herself in, since it was unlocked. On her way in Monika ran into Sayori's younger sister Sophie, who was taller then her sister, but no wear near Monika's height. It was clear Sophie was only just coming to open the door, probably not hearing it before because of the head phones she had hanging round her neck.

"Oh hey Monika." Said Sophie in a melancholy tone, now playing on her phone. Monika knew all about Sayori's family, and her little sister was a spoiled brat to put it politely.
"You here to help Sayori try to become smart again? You know it's impossible right?" Chuckled Sophie not making eye contact, still looking at her phone.
"Come on now Sophie, that's no way to talk about your sister is it?" Said Monika with a smile, hoping this bitch would move so she could go to Sayori.
"She's not my sister." Coldly said Sophie no longer smiling.
Like I said, bitch.
"Well let's agree to disagree and speaking of which, if you'll excuse me, I need to go study with your sister." Very politely said Monika no hatred, anger or resentment evident in her voice, as she walked past Sophie, making sure she didn't bump into her.
Monika had been in this house enough times to know where Sayori's bedroom is, so she waisted no time in headed straight for it. Monika put her ear on the door and to her horror she could faintly hear Sayori weaping and crying. Monika hid her face of sorrow with her signature calm smile, knocking at the door.
"Sayori~ you in there? Sorry if I came at a bad time, you didn't text me so I just came. Is MC there?" She said, already knowing the answers to all her questions. She could hear shuffling in the room, probably Sayori cleaning up in order hide the fact she was crying.
"DON'T COME IN! I'm uh... Changing, yeah I'm changing! And MC left a while ago, sorry I forgot to text! That was really stupid of me!" Said Sayori perfectly faking her happy voice, though Monika could see straight through it.
"Hey don't worry about it Sayori, you seem to forget all the times I forgot to text you, and take your time to get ready. It takes devotion and time to be lazy." Joked Monika earning a small genuine giggle from Sayori. Monika leaning her back on the door while looking up at he sealing, listening and savouring that angel voice of hers, she expected Sayori to take a while. But Monika was greatly mistaken. Sayori planned on makeling her usual big and grand appearance by opening the door at an inhumane seed.
"HELLO MONIK- AH!" Sayori was interrupted by Monika losing balance as crashing into her, sending the both onto the floor.
Luckily on the way down Monika managed to turn them around so she would be the one to crash on the floor, so Sayori ending up on top of her. Monika had one hand on Sayoris back and the other on the back of her head in a protective manner.
"Oh my god! I am so sorry Sayori!" Panicked Monika, but as she began to move, moving her arms and using her elbows to hold herself up, Monika was stopped by Sayori's arms wrapping around her back, slightly pushing her down into a hug. If Monika wasn't as observant as she was, she would have jumped to all sorts of conclusions.
But Monika could feel Sayori shaking and hear her small whimpers, before she felt something cold and wet on her neck where Sayori was burrying her face. Monika could tell Sayori was crying. She slowly sat up, wrapping her arms around Sayori, returning the hug.
"Shhhhh, it's ok, it's ok Sayori..." Calmly soothed Monika rubbing circles on Sayori's back, Sayori just hugged Monika tighter.
"... What happened Sayori?..." Asked Monika with a calm whispered, now hugging Sayori just as tight, to hopefully give her a sense of security. Sayori slightly loosened her grip, finally able to speak between each sob and hiccup.

"I-I t-t-told h-him I... H- He s-said I-I l-like y-you t-too...a-as a f-f-friend!" Stuttered Sayori barely able to speak over her outburst of tears, now berrying herself deeper into Monika's arms in hopes she could make herself disappear.
'Bastard.' thought Monika being thankful Sayori couldn't see her face, because not even the great Monika could control the deadly glare that crawled its way there.
"Hey, hey... Sayori it's ok, it's ok, would you... would you like me to ban him from the club?" Said Monika begining to rub Sayori's back again. Only to stop when Sayori pulled away holding one of Monika's Shoulders with one hand, and rubbing her tears with the other.
"N-NO! I-Im j-just g-glad he at least c-considers me a f-friend!" Said Sayori now sadly smiling at the floor, unable to look at Monika, her arms now resting on her sides.
Monika engulfed Sayori in another much needed hug, letting Sayori sink and cry into it. Monika stayed there, comforting Sayori on the floor for a long time, just letting Sayori cry, and cry, and cry, until her tears had run out and they could talk about what happened properly. Once Sayori stopped shaking, the two girls moved and sat on Sayori's bed. Monika leaned on the bed frame as Sayori layed on top of Monika's chest and sunk into Monika's warm hug. Monika did feel a little intoxicated by Sayori's sweet peachy cent, but not enough to overpower her want for Sayoris happyness, her want to make sure Sayori was ok. Monika new that Sayori was delicate with many hidden emotions, because both Sayori and Monika smiled to throw people off their true emotions. Only difference was that Monika had been doing it a lot longer.
"Sayori, do you want to talk?" Calmly asked Monika.
"There isn't much to say..." Said Sayori sinking deeper into Monika's Embrace.
"I told him how I felt, how I l-loved him, but he thought I was joking... At least I think he did because of his smile...or maybe he didn't take it seriously because he will only ever see me as a friend..." Said Sayori in a shaky and uncertain tone. Monika tightened the grip her arms had around Sayori slender waist, predicting that Sayori wanted a tighter hug.
"It's not your fault that boy's a dumbass." Bluntly said Monika, knowing that's the most polite thing she could bring herself to say about MC. This made Sayori giggle and hold her hand to her mouth in a cute manner.
"Hey it's true! Don't sell yourself short for a second Sayori! I'd kill for that lovely, natural strawberry blonde hair of yours!" Said Monika as if it was the most serious thing in the world.
"Would you now?" Said Sayori with a sigh, relaxing into Monika and closing her eyes with a little smile.
" It's not your fault Sayori, let bygones be bygones. No offence to you childhood friend, but he clearly can't beat the IQ of a gold fish if he turned you down. " Seriously stated Monika. Secretly a little jealous.
"Yeah he is, that's kind of why I like him though, he's different. All the others have just tried to get into my pants." sighed Sayori, feeling defeated.
'Oh how I made them pay.' thought Monika smiling to herself.
"It's a little weird how they all gave me apology gifts and then just left school. Guess I must have one hell of a guardian angel." Giggled Sayori.
"Yeah, you do." Said Monika with a cheeky smirk.
"I really, REALLY like him Moni... he's kind to those around him, but not enough that he...he..." Sayori stopped in her tracks, unable to finish her own sentence.
"Not kind enough that he would look for storm clouds? Or was it rain clouds?" Said Monika hitting the nail on the head. Sayori tensed up before jumping out if Monika's arms so she could look her in the eyes.
"H-How do you know that?!" Said Sayori paniking a little.
"Well I call mine storm clouds, but I assumed you called your rain clouds, because I've heared you say it before."
Said Monika calmly smiling at her friend.
"W-Wait Monika do you, have it too?"
Said Sayori with widened eyes in disbelief.
"They used to be very bad, so bad I couldn't stay still at night or get up in the mornings." Said Monika rubbing Sayori's shoulders.
"How long have you known?" Whispered Sayori now looking downwards away from Monika.
"Only people who've had it can understand it, or even see it Sayori." Said Monika not looking away from Sayori.
"But, how long? How long have you known about my depression?" Asked Sayori scrunching up her fists by her sides.
"I had a hunch for a while, but it was only a few weeks ago when I confirmed it. Your very good at hiding it Sayori." Said Monika with a small smile, but she was surprised to have Sayori tackle hug her out of no where.
'I thought she was upset with me...' thought Monika, relieved as she hugged Sayori back.
"Please don't tell my mum, I don't want her to waste money on my medication again." Whispered Sayori, just not wanting her mum to give her that medication again. Monika stroked the back of Sayoris head in a soothing manner to get rid of her fear.
"It's not my place to say Sayori, your the one who gets to decide what you do with it, not me or anyone else." Said Monika in a serious tone. Sayori was about to say something, but Monika answered her question before she even said it.
"Don't worry, I haven't told a single soul. I confirmed it when I used your phone to look up something with the letter c at the start. I saw a lot of things you looked up all to do with cures for depression, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to snoop." Said Monika. Sayori had a long sigh of relief.
"How do you do it?" Whispered Sayori.
"Do what?" Asked Monika confused.
"How do you deal with it? The clouds..." Asked Sayori, Monika sighed.
"It takes time and patience, but soon enough you'll learn different ways to deal with it. Like letting out your stress through a hobby, or even just learning to talk about it." Said Monika Sayori just laughed and lightly started to cry and burries her face into Monika's shoulder. Monika just hugged and patted her on the head, just like Sayori liked it.
"I'm here for you Sayori, I won't force you too, but remember I'm here if things get tough." Smiled Monika.
Before Sayori could say thank you they both heared a clicking noise, as if a camera had just too a picture, followed by someone whispering 'shit.' both girls stopped hugging and turned to the source of the noise only to find Sophie at the now open door with her phone out.
"Sophie what the hell are you doing?!"
Screamed Sayori now super flustered and embarrassed.
"I'm taking pictures of proof for mum and dad that you're gay!" Yelled Sophie with a grin as she began her escape, running down the hall.
"Were just friends! Delete it!" Yelled Sayori pouncing off the bed as red as a tomato and sprinting after her sister.
"Oh hell no! This is the proof I've been waiting for!" Yelled Sophie going down the stairs.
'Ouch, so that's how Sayori felt when MC friend zoned her, dam this hurts.' thought Monika as she stayed sitting on the bed, clenching her heart, trying her hardest to not let this effect her.

When his brother was shining light he was the stabling post supporting him. Many sought to take down the light, but knew they were nothing to light so they tried to take down the post. Jade died in the cultivation universe, not without learning more than most in their billion year life times. He was not a genius by any means he was just well learned. Now he is a dungeon, with mana instead of Qi. Still he can cultivate and learn again. Who will he teach and help become a shining light Warning I am not the best writer, and it will take awhile to build to more of an action adventure story with dungeon building as a side as the story will shift from Jade the dungeon to his choosen students I use Cultivating Dungeon, and The bound dungeon as systems to build off of, but the story is all mine
