Won't just rid the pain,

Like waking up another day,

Forgetting the nightmares of yesterday.

All of the words that you've said,

Echoes like whispers in my mind,

Leaving this heart that you bled,

To remember love as a dread.

You were once my daydream,

Now turned into a nightmare.

And I was once a bright beam,

But now, just enough to seem.

Thoughts of you haunt me,

Shadows of you everywhere I turn.

But, love won't ever let us be,

Even if it is still you that I see.
