3rd POV.

On Mother's Day, It was Elijah's turn to take his mother out. So he chose to take Charlie to ab expensive Japanese restaurant while he was in a nice suit.

While Charlie was in a nice dress too.

As the two sat down at their table, Charlie was amazed at how nice the restaurant was. Before looking at Elijah and smiled, "can't believe you booked us spot at a nice place like this" she said. Elijah chuckled at this, "well for an awesome mom like you, only some place of high quality will do" he said with a smile. Which caused Charlie to blush and giggle as their waiter came, "hey you two, what can a get you two to drink?" he asked. "Yamazaki 18 whiskey for me, and Tomi wine for my mother" Elijah replied as the waiter smiled and nodded "and what would you would you two like to eat?" he asked. Elijah and Charlie then looked at the menu "everything is expensive" Charlie remarked, "don't worry about the price mom, it's Mother's Day and I got the bill covered" Elijah reassured as his mother smiled at him and looked at the menu. "I'll have the A5 Wagyu ramen bowl" Elijah said "and I'll have the Wagyu steak" Charlie added as the waiter smiled and nodded as he wrote down their order and left. Elijah and Charlie joked as well as talked as they received their drinks and later their meals, to which they enjoyed.

After they ate and the bill was payed by Elijah, he then summoned a medium sized present box and gave it to Charlie. "Happy Mother's Day mom" he said with a smile, after his mother returned the gesture, she opened as was surprised and happy at her new puppy.

She smiled and then nuzzled the puppy before it licked her nose.

"Aw, thank you son" Charlie said before giggling, "no problem mom, I noticed how you wanted so, bam" Elijah replied. "I love him, I think I'll name him, Spike" his mother added as Spike gave a happy bark before the two walked out with their new family member. "A wonderful Mother's Day" Charlie happily said with her new puppy in her arms while Elijah chuckled. "I am happy you enjoyed mom" he replied as they then drove home in his Charger while enjoying some tones all the way there.
