3rd POV.

If Elijah and his family were to live on earth in their human disguises, they would live in New Orleans in Alastor's old family house that they made bigger through magic to fit the whole family. Elijah's siblings had an easier time growing up there than him, for whenever he would go out to do his thing, he would have to deal with crime, racism, gangs, and bad cops on where his job takes him. But luckily for him, Mama Amiyah would always understood his situation and would comfort him whenever they spend time together which was more than her time with her other grandkids. Not that she doesn't love them, she does, it's just that she see a lot of herself in Elijah in the way he acts towards others and how he carries himself not only as person, but also as a person of color like her of the black community. From his mid childhood to his current age of 19, Mama Amiyah would always take and be his company to grave sights and old haunted house where they talked to spirits. While also teaching him some magic tricks while also giving him pointers on being creative with his more stronger and vast dark powers that she only heard of until Elijah came into the family.

But one time while Elijah was driving his 68 Charger, with his good and well trusted friend. William Danvers beside him, Mama Amiyah liked him for being one of the good ones. While William feared her and thought that she was also cool. Suddenly they were pulled over by the cops as the next thing they knew. Elijah can be seen being patted down by one of the cops while William was being questioned by the other. "Got any drugs or weapons on you?" the cop asked, "no" Elijah replied as the cop roughly turned the young man to face him while holding his collar . "I didn't do nothing" Elijah said, "oh, you think you tough, think you tough huh? *pulls out his gun and points it under Elijah's chin* oh, scared now huh, haha. I like that, that's why I took this job, I hate little degenerates like you, think you tough huh?, I can blow your fucking head off with this smith & western, and you couldn't do shit" the cop said. As William could do nothing but looked on with worry. As he and Elijah knew they couldn't do anything to the cop, especially with some people looking on. "What gang are you from? you look like one of them 39ers, na you're probably one of them Ride or Die boys, hm" the cop added. As a tear ran down Elijah's cheek when suddenly they all heard the cops radio ring about a situation. This caused the cop and his partner to leave the boys alone as Elijah whipped the tear away from his face before he silently got back in car first with William getting in after him, as they drove on in silence and back to the Magne home where they were having a cookout.

"Don't...don't tell anyone what happened, that's....just a regular occurrence around here" Elijah said. As William sighed and nodded before Elijah put on a brave and happy face as they got out and joined the family. The young man fooled them all except for his Mama Amiyah. Who saw right through Elijah and knew that it happened again. But when she saw William place a hand on his shoulder. That's when she smiled as she knew that he had Elijah's back all the way, and that he was in good hands.
