Elijah is not only the master of his own flames, but also the master of darkness in ways his family can't possibly imagine. All in secret, as he would master it and do many things with it. One time during his self training in open field away from prying eyes. He was attacked by a few angels who wanted to kill him.

As Elijah managed to cover it in darkness, with his Dark Moon ability, rendering the angels near powerless and boosting the power of himself. As he easily took care of them.

Elijah can also use this power to bend others to his will as well as destroy and punish those who are guilty by bathing them entirely in darkness to which he mastered.
