While on earth and in disguise, Elijah saw the struggles and achievements that the humans have made without the powers that angels and demons have. Though he knew that they could do great harm, it confirmed that they were no different from his kind in some way. As this proves to Elijah that they can surpass both angles and demon kind by a milestone while all demons do is mostly kill and fuck each other over, and Angels stay comfortable in heaven and judge others. Elijah knows this, as he understands and appreciates the qualities of the human factor. In fact there one human who won him over, and was one the reasons for Elijah visiting Earth, and her name was Hex Maniac, a fox temple priestess in Japan, and lover of Pokemon.

When then the two met, they immediately it off as Elijah and Hex became a secret item that people thought was an interesting and nice sight to see. Especially when Elijah showed Hex his true fox form, which made him more interesting to Hex, besides his true self, with her being one of his flings now.
