《This Time》|43| IKA-APATNAPU'T TATLONG KABANATA

I'm dead meat.
I may have extended my vacation at my hometown for a day, although I'm already back, I haven't told Amayah. We didn't communicate much during my stay as I wanted to focus on spending time with my parents, and she wanted me to do the same.
Now, I'm on my way to her place with sweating hands and a rapid beating heart. The fact that Aaron's with his dad added to my nervousness. I prayed to whoever could hear that she's not that mad.
I guess my prayer wasn't heard.
A raised brow and obviously mad beauty welcomed me as soon as I entered the house. Her lips in thin line and eyes blazing. Cowering, I sat down as she pointed the couch without even saying anything. I swallowed down the lump in my throat as I bounced my leg nervously.
"We really just started dating and now you're avoiding me?"
"I-I wasn't avoiding you."
Amayah's brow raised higher, arms crossing under her chest. "You got home yesterday without telling me. I texted you the whole day and you didn't reply. I called and you didn't answer. I'm pretty sure that's avoidance."
"I... I–" I pouted, not finding any excuse or the right words to say because she is right.
"Do you not want to see me?"
My eyes widened at her question, shaking my head quickly. "Of course not! I want to see you, always, Amayah."
"Then what is it about?" She asked. "Is it because I told you I wanted to talk about what happened at the bar?"
Contemplating, I realized it's no use to make more excuses or even lie. "Yes. Sorry."
"Was it because we made out? Did I make you feel uncomfortable in any way?"
"No, it's not that. Just..." I bit my lip, looking down at my lap. "I did feel uncomfortable, that's one of the two reasons." I decided to be honest.
"What's the other one?"
"I took advantage of your drunken state," I mumbled, guilt settling in my stomach, it never left the whole week. "You were drunk and I let the kiss last that long. I shouldn't have done that and I feel guilty. I couldn't face you properly because I was ashamed of my action. I'm really sorry, Amayah."

The older woman's face softened before she sat down beside me, taking my hand in hers. "You didn't take advantage of me, Darling. I knew what I was doing, despite being intoxicated. I was not drunk to that point, okay? I remember what happened and I don't regret a single thing about it, but I do now seeing your reaction."
"Still, I don't like doing that. I don't want to kiss anymore when you're drunk." I couldn't help but whine out the words, tears building up in my eyes. "I felt so guilty and ashamed, and I feel like a bad person."
"Aw, baby. You're not a bad person," Amayah cupped my face, making me look at her dark brown eyes. "We won't do that again, so don't cry."
"I'm not going to cry."
"Yes, you're not." She pulled my head down for a quick kiss. "But stop feeling guilty, okay? I wanted it." I nodded even though I still feel guilty. "Now, elaborate on the other reason why you're uncomfortable."
I shrugged. "I'm just... I'm not ready to have sex yet? I don't feel comfortable with... with using my–"
"Penis?"
"Yes, that. I'm not comfortable with doing it with my... with that. I'm fine with having sex but I don't want to use it."
"Okay, so let me get this straight. You're ready to have sex with me, but without using your dick–I mean, your penis?" I nodded, cheeks reddening. "Why? I mean, if that's what you really want then I'm fine with it. I just want to know the reason why."
"Is it not... functioning properly?" My cheeks turned a deeper red, if that's even remotely possible.
I groaned, covering my face with my hands. "What kind of question–of course it's functioning!"
Amayah laughed, trying to pry my hands away from covering my face. "I'm sorry, I couldn't think of any reason." When she succeeded, the beauty didn't hesitate to plant a kiss on my lips once again. "Okay, I'm serious, tell me."
I huffed before answering. "Do you not think it's weird?"
"What's weird?"
"This, me, my appendage." I groaned. "How could you want to have sex with me?"

Amayah sighed, intertwining our hands. "We've been over this, Darling. Like I told you, I don't think it's weird and even if it is, weird is good you know. Normal is boring," she said with a smile, easing my worries for a bit. "Besides, I like you for you, not what's underneath your pants."
"You won't be weirded out by it?"
The beauty shook her head. "I won't be weirded out by it."
"Really?"
"Really. I'll be waiting until you're ready, baby."
"I read on the internet that movie dates are boring." I whispered to Amayah, eyes still focus on the screen, a movie currently playing. I think she's enjoying it, but I find the film very dull. Although I didn't want to say anything about it. She might get offended.
"That's bs, I like movie dates." She fed me a popcorn which I willingly ate. "Staying at home, watching a movie or just cuddling, that's my kind of date."
I frowned, thinking back to our previous dates. "But you did enjoy the dates I brought you to, right?"
Amayah chuckled in amusement. "Of course, I did. Those were perfect, baby." Taking her eyes off the screen for a moment, the beauty leaned her head up to press a kiss on my cheek before going back to watching. "Anything with you is."
I blushed both at what she said and at the endearment she's been using the past week. "I like that."
"What?"
"Baby. I like it when you call me that." I admitted shyly. "And darling, I like those two. It makes me feel happy and tingly."
Amayah raised a brow, smiling. "What about me? When will I get an endearment?"
"I like saying your name though." For some reason, I prefer using her name to refer to her instead of any pet names.
She rolled her eyes playfully. "Fine. Keep calling me by my name."
Although, it wouldn't hurt to try, right?
I thought of the nickname I've been using in my mind to describe her. "I call you beauty in my head. Is beautiful considered an endearment? It fits you perfectly."
I am familiar with the fact that people find calling their partners with an endearment more intimate.
Amayah avoided my eyes, teeth biting her bottom lip. "It is."
I smiled happily. "Okay, I'll call you that."
We turned our focus back on the movie, or rather, she did. Since I found the film absolutely horrendous, I busied myself with playing Amayah's manicured fingers. Caressing the back of her hand with my thumb and bringing it to my lips once in a while to press a soft kiss.
As the movie came close to an end, I noticed our close proximity. Amayah sat in between my opened legs, her back resting on my front and head leaning against my chest. My heart full, I cuddled the woman even closer to me.
Unconsciously, I started to move my hand under her shirt to touch her tummy, my fingers tracing the soft skin. Amayah sighed, moving closer to me.
"That feels nice." The beauty mumbled.
"I like rubbing my own tummy, it feels good." I mumbled in a quiet voice.
She hummed. "It does."
"Juls find it weird though." I frowned, remembering the time I told him about it.
"He's the weird one."
"Yeah, he is." I bit my lip, contemplating. "By the way, he kind of wants to meet you officially, as my girlfriend. But it's okay if you don't want to, Julius just wants to know you as my friend."
"Okay."
"Okay?"
My beauty nodded. "I can meet him. He is your friend after all."
"You don't find it weird? You know, because he was your student, too?"
"Not really. You can bring him here for dinner."
Excited, I nodded. "Okay."
It was strange, but knowing that I'll get to finally introduce Amayah as my girlfriend to one of my friends makes me feel so happy.
I can't wait for the day that my family meets her.
