"Do you have to go back? I'm not all that comfortable with you moving back into that house Alyssa." Opie grumbled as I packed my items into my suitcase.

"Yes Opie. I have to go home. We JUST started seeing each other. I'm not moving in this soon." I told him with a sigh.

"So the four years we were together before don't count?" He asked.

"No Opie. We are completely different people now. This is us starting over." I shook my head explaining this to him.

"Alyssa..." He moved putting his hands on my waist.

"No Harry. I'm moving back home. Juice put in a brand new security system, all new locks and door knobs. Jax and Happy fully stocked it with weapons if needed. I will be fine." I told him trying to ease his mind.

"I know... I just don't want you to leave Lyss. I feel like I'm terrified everytime you walk away, I wonder if I'll see you again. If you'll just leave or if your ex does something... I love you Alyssa I can't go through that shit again." He told me pulling into his chest wrapping his arms tightly around me.

I hugged him back for a moment before pulling back to rest my hands on his cheeks and force him to look down and meet my soft green eyes. "I'm. Not. Going. Anywhere." I told him. "As for Jeremy. I can't promise you I'm safe from him. I CAN promise I will be extra careful though. If I see him at all even a faint glimpse I will call one of you. I swear it Harry." I told him using his real name to convey my sincere honesty.

His eyes studied me for a moment before he nodded. He leaned down and kissed me softly. Now that I have him back in my arms I realized how much I really missed him. How badly both of us need to talk and let go of the past. "I love you Alyssa." He smiled pulling away from my lips.

"I love you too Opie. I'll meet you at the clubhouse in a couple hours. I promise." I said turning to my suitcase and zipping it up.

"You better. Your dad demands your presence." He told me pointing his index finger.

"Yes sir." I saluted with a giggle.

Opie chuckled and shook his head. He picked up my suitcase and left the room, leaving me to trail behind.

He loaded it into my truck and I jumped up wrapping my arms and legs around him. He caught me with ease laughing he spun us around in the driveway. I leaned in and kissed him happily. He kissed me back as he pinned me between his chest and my truck.

We pulled away when a car was heard pulling in beside us. Mary got out of the drivers seat and smiled at me. "Alyssa." She said happily.

"Hi Ma!" I jumped out of Opie's arms and embraced his mother. "How are you Mary?" I asked.

"Too old and fat to be doin' this shit." She told me with a small smile.

I just laughed and hugged the kids. "You're leaving?" Kenny asked as I hugged him.

"Yeah, I gotta go back to my own house." I told him. He looked disappointed and so did Ellie. "You guys know I'm not leaving forever. You're still gonna see me a lot." I told them laughing.

Opie's P.O.V

Seeing Alyssa interact with my kids made my heart stop beating. Even though they weren't hers and they were the children of a woman she used to hate she still loved them. I could see it in the way she spoke to them. I couldn't help my thoughts from moving to how she would have been with our own daughter.

Alyssa would have been an amazing mother, she's so selfless and loving. If she already treats my kids like they are her own, how would she have been with Caylee?

She's only been here for two weeks and she takes my kids to and from school, helps them with their homework, she's been teaching Ellie to dance and set Kenny up with Desireé. She cooks for all of us almost every night some of the best meals I've eaten in a long time and she's helped me to connect with my kids again in a way that has long since been missing. I couldn't thank her enough for all she's done in such little time.

I watched her hug my mom goodbye before she pulled out and drove away, then she hugged the kids again sending them inside, the whole time I couldn't wipe the stupid grin off of my face.

"So," She started sauntering over to me wrapping her slender arms around my waist. "I love you." She laughed snuggling her head into my chest as I wrapped my arms around her.

I couldn't help but chuckle and I stroked her long hair softly loving the way it felt like silk beneath my calloused palms. "I love you too Lyss." I told her.

She moved back and I lifted my hand to her cheek stroking the apple of her cheek with my thumb, I leaned in to kiss her again softly before pulling away. I helped her into her truck and she leaned out the window just to steal another kiss from me. If I had it my way I'd never stop kissing her with the way she made my head spin and my heart race under the touch of her soft warm lips.

I stepped back from her truck allowing her the room to back out of the driveway and I waved until she was out of sight. I couldn't stop the feeling of emptiness that hit me once she was out of sight. I headed into the house trying to hide my frown and worry. I found the kids sitting at the table staring at me with grins on their faces.

"What?" I asked raising an eyebrow at them.

"We wanna do something special for Alyssa." Ellie told me.

"Yeah, to show her how much we appreciate what she's done for us." Kenny added.

I was intrigued by their idea so I nodded. "What do you have in mind?" I asked them.

They looked at one another and grinned ear to ear before turning to me. They told me their idea and I have to say I love it. It would be perfect, Alyssa would love it. I grinned and agree with them and told them to start the research while I headed to the clubhouse.
