Sino: I won't magically heal just because you decided to skip work.

Siya: I never said you would, I just wanna take care of you, please let me do this.

Sino looked at him, knowing there was no arguing with him, especially when he's made up his mind. She's been trying to get him to go to back to work, seeing he had already missed a business meeting with Snakes yesterday but much to her dismay he said 'Snakes is my brother he understands and would do the same if Lisa was hurt' and Snakes did understand and told him to take his time but Siya sent the important documents via his PA.

Sino: Come here.

She pulled him closer to her, and snuggling closer to his chest. Even though, she still was happy to be in the warmth of his arms. She enjoyed being babysat by him, because truth be told, even though she didn't want Siya to skip work because of her, the thought of him putting everything aside for her including his company just because of mere injuries, it sent a wave of currents in her stomach.

Siya: I don't know what I would've done without you.

Sino: I'm here aren't I?

Siya: I could've lost you.

Sino: And you didn't and I'm here, in your arms safe and sound.

The feeling of triumph filled him up, upon knowing and hearing that she found him as her safe haven. The feeling of wanting to protect her with his life grew stronger.

Siya: Weren't you scared?

Sino: A little bit, I guess a huge part of me knew that you'd find me and bring me home.

She looked up at him placing her palms on his chest.

Sino: A huge part of me new you'd find your way to me, that you wouldn't let anything happen to me-

Siya: But I did, I let this happen to you and I'm sorry-

She put her finger on his lips and cupped his face in her hands, shaking her head.

Sino: You saved me, they did this to me. It could've been worse.

Siya kissed the palm of her hand that rested on his cheek.

Siya: I'm scared, I'm terrified that one day I'll have to pay the price of taking so many people's lives. I'm terrified of losing Jade, I'm terrified of losing you.

Sino saw the sincerity in his eyes, the vulnerability of the thought that one day, she might not be here with him. And that thought left a hollow feeling in her stomach, she didn't want to think of a world where he's not in it. Because she knew he was telling the truth and there was no way of avoiding it, the life he lives puts everyone in danger, but she was prepared to live it with him.

Sino: Just like you found me, just like you've saved me from numerous occasions of threats before, I trust that you'll save me from whatever the future holds for us, I trust you.

He kissed her on the lips and smiled softly at her. The only thing he lived for right now was his family, Jade and Her.

Siya: Ngiyakuthanda MaZulu, intliziyo yami mayishayela phezulu, yenzwa uwena, mawu mamatheka, mawuhleka iyajabula intliziyo yami. (I love you Mazulu, when my heart beats faster, it's because of you, your smile, your laugh my heart becomes content).

By now she was trying to fight the tears from spilling but much to her failure they had already been streaming down her cheeks, Siya kissed them before his lips landed on her lips gently and comforting.

Sino: I love you.

Sanele, Snakes and Siya were at the butcher house, just drinking and talking. The reason for their union at the house was sorely to kill Sam, who's been locked up at the basement ever since they took her that day. She would be dead already but Siya couldn't leave Sino when she needed him more, Sam's death could wait, as much as he wanted to kill her in a very painful way, he couldn't and wouldn't but torturing her was still an alternative he had yet to explore.

Snakes: How's Mazulu?

Siya: She is healing, but I think that son of a slime fractured her rib, that's the only thing that hasn't healed.

Sanele: She'll be fine bafo, she's a strong one.

Siya: Yeah, she is.

Snakes: Eh, so what's the plan with Sam, uzom'phathanisa naba'phansi noba? (are you killing her or not?)

Siya took a swing of his scotch and his eyes dattered from the desk to the whiskey bottle.

Outstretching his arm, he reached for the bottled and popped the lid.

Siya: I'm not gonna kill her, I can't.

Siya poured the bitter drink on his glass halfway and took another swing.

Sanele: I'm glad you listened to me.

Siya: I am rather going to make her wish she was dead.

Snakes smirked and drank his own drink, already he had figured out what he meant by that. Sanele just sighed because there was nothing he could do, at least he won't leave with the guilt of killing Jade's mother.

Snakes: I'm out!

Sanele: Yeah, I think I'll rather face a pregnant woman than watch you torture Sam in a sick way.

Snakes: Poes. (pussy)

Sanele: What's your excuse?

Snakes: Hai fotsek ungenaphi? (Fuck off, what does that have to do with you)

Sanele: Poes!!!!

Siya laughed, they all got up and exited the office while the other two exchanging unpleasant names.

Snakes: Dickface!

Sanele: Shithead.

Snakes: Asswipe.

Sanele: Crackhead.

Siya: Eh xap, your testosterone is suffocating me.

Snakes/ Sanele: Fosek!

They both smacked his head simultaneously.

After Snakes and Sanele's departure, Siya retrieved his phone from the back pocket of his jeans, the material of the sweater he had worn along with, stretched further with his movements, he dialed her number and waited for the angelic voice that always calms him down, or in some cases gets him aroused, mostly aroused. Three rings, she answered with a sweet...

Sino: Hey.

Siya: Hey.

Sino: You alright? You sound different.

He was about to inflict pain on his daughter's mother, alright was not an option right now, but he called her because he needed the reminder of why he was doing it in the first place, for her, anyone who hurts her, faces the aftermaths of that crime. Even Samantha.

Siya: Yeah, I'm good now, is she asleep?

He could hear the sigh that escaped her lips. Already imagining her expression.

Sino: Not yet, she's plaiting my hair.

His lips lopsided at the playing image of his love and daughter bonding.

Siya: I'll be home soon? I love you.

Sino: Bring a box of chocolate cookies would ya.

Siya: Jade asked for them?

Sino: It was more along the lines of 'Tell daddy to compensate for leaving us alone' how does she know that word? She's like 4yrs old.

Siya barked with laughter. Jade was a smart kid, not only because his father took her to a private school but because she was smart naturally.

Siya: Alright, I'll be there in 30.

Sino: Okay, love you.

Siya: What's that?

Sino: What?

Siya: love you? What is that?

Sino: You such a-

Siya: I wouldn't finish that if I were you.

Sino: I love you, now bye.

She hung up, but he could still feel the smile on her face right now.

Sam: You can't keep me here, I'm Jade's mother for fucks sake!

She bellowed in the chair she was seated on, without any straps of restriction. Siya took out the cigarette from his pack of cigarettes and put it on his lips.

Siya: Don't ya love kidnapping people, that is your forte, taking what's not yours.

Sam: Please, Siya, mna nawe singayilungisa lento torho. (Me and you can still fix this, please)

Siya lit his cigarette and pulled then exhaled.

Siya: Jonga mamela'pha, andiyo chomi yakho yeva. (Listen here, I'm not your friend okay) and the only reason you still alive is because you Jade's mother, but I'm not letting you off the hook.

He said all that while gribbing her chin in his free hand painfully making her look at his piercing eyes.

Sam: If you not going to kill me then-

Siya: You used your legs to kick and break my woman's ribcages right, that's what you used right?

Sam: Siya-

Sam: Then, you used your hands to throw some mean ass punches. You good by the way.

He said as he pulled at his cigarette again and releasing the smoke on her face.

Siya: Well, I'm gonna inflict pain on those parts, that's only fair right Sam?

Sam: Siya please don't do this.

Siya: You know, you should be happy that I'm not killing you in the most painful way possible, I mean you just might or might not walk or touch ever again, but you'll still be breathing so.

Sam started crying hysterically as her ears couldn't believe what he was saying. This is the same man she fell in love with, bore him a child, treated her like a queen, now he's gonna hurt her for another woman who doesn't even meet her standard. Siya snickered at Sam's fearful face, just what he loves to see on his victims before he kills them, fear, but by luck of carrying his seed once, she'll live.

Siya: I have 20 minutes to spare, shall we?
