《Twist of Fate》Insert 3

That girl, why can't I stop thinking about her, the way she tried to act tough at the beginning. It was cute how quickly her demeanor changed when I mentioned killing. I wasn't joking though, I would have killed her with no remorse and hid her body where no one could find it.

But she was too cute and very fascinating. A small smile creeped on my face but I quickly removed it, why the hell was I smiling? I didn't know her. Why didn't I get her name again?

I just want to see her again, even though my subconscious kept telling me that it probably wasn't a good idea to be fancying a girl. But my stupid organ seemed to disagree with that. It wanted to see her again, pull her closer to me again, to see her eyes again.

I shook my head and made my way to the stupid event. You know sometimes my brother can be a dick. How do you set someone up without their consent? He's too whipped to think straight.

Siya: Alright, let's get this shit over with.

I carried dominant strides to the elevator.

I was late, and I like it, the feeling of dominating and making people feel my presence. I didn't care that my date was possibly waiting for me, I was Siyabonga Nkosi, people waited for me with no complaints.

I walked out the elevator, I was immediately greeted by a fine lady at the reception. I kept my face hard and stoic, not giving a single emotion. She was about to say something but she saw who she was about to talk to, seeing her choosing her words right.

Lady: Welcome Mr Nkosi, your brother is inside already.

I nodded and opened the doors, I instantly saw my doofus brother standing with what seemed to be his girlfriend, and some girl who was stuffing her face with food.

That had better not be my date, I was going to kick Sanele's balls tonight. He saw me coming and also saw my glare, he didn't seem fazed though as he said something to his guests gesturing to me. I stood in front of him giving him a bro shake.

Nodded to his woman as she smiled and nodded back. But this pig hadn't turned yet, what was so important that she wasn't interested to recognize her date. But when she turned, for the first time tonight, my face seemed to have a different emotion than a hard face, I was shocked.

No fucking way! Her face mirrored mine as she gaped at me. She really was a pig, I smirked at the memory our first encounter, well well well. She seemed to be disputing with her inner self. All we did was to stare at each other, I had recovered from my shock but Miss pigster hadn't, her eyes never leaving mine.

Sanele cleared his throat to gain our attention. However, my eyes lingered right where they had been all along, refusing to look elsewhere. Even when her eyes shifted to nowhere specific.

Me: We meet again.

I said with a slick smile on my face, enjoying watching her squirm under my gaze. Her eyes found mine again. I saw how Sanele raised his eyebrows, Mbali looking between me and her friend. When I didn't get a response I turned to my brother and mirrored his expression.

Mbali: Sino?

Sanele: You two know each other how?

Me: Not important, can I have alone time with my date?

I didn't wait for him to answer as I took her wrist and pulled her to the balcony with me.

Sino, I think yanked her hand from me, I smirked at her short frame. How she seemed small in front of me.

Sino: Why did you bring me here?

Me: Straight to the point? I like it.

She seemed to not be into my taunts as she stared at me with straight face. This girl!

Me: You my date, aren't you?

I pocketed my hands in my pants, standing straight.

Sino seemed uncomfortable with the movements and stepped back. I needed to know what she was thinking, was she scared or amused. My thoughts halted when she spoke in her melodic voice.

Sino: So? You can't just drag me wherever you please just because I'm your date.

Me: I can, and I did.

She seemed to be getting angry by the minute, it made me feel warm inside, I loved playing with her emotions. She attempted to leave but I held her arm and pulled her to my body.

Me: Where you going sweetheart?

She seemed to quicken her breathing, I had an effect on her. I smirked at myself proud that I had her panting with a slight touch. She looked up at me.

Sino: L-let go.

She stummered out, failing in her attempt to seem intimidating. She's too cute, I can't help it.

Me: Should I? I think you want me close to you like this.

Her eyes changed to fiery in an instant. I clearly riled her up.

Sino: How dare you?

She yanked her arm from my hold and shifted back away from me. I saw her shiver, she was cold.

I rolled my eyes at her, and shrugged my blazer off. I wrapped it over her shoulders. She looked up at me trying to read too much into my behavior. I smirked looking down at her. I wanted to see how long she could keep up the stare. Clearly not long enough as she shrugged off my blazer and held it for me to take back.

Sino: Thanks but no thanks.

She raised her eyebrows when I put my hands in my pockets. What was her problem with me, I'm being nice something I hardly be especially around women. And she's so darn stubborn, ungrateful.

Sino: I don't think you'd appreciate me dropping it on the floor.

She said after she saw I wasn't making any attempt to take my blazer back. To which I wasn't instead I stepped closer and caged her with the railing of the balcony.

She looked down, then back at me, it was a long way down. I took the blazer and put it around her, this time she wore it, her tiny form looking adorable in my huge jacket. That made me smile, her in my clothes was a sight worth looking at, I couldn't wait to see her in nothing but my shirt.

Me: I think we should dance.

I took her hand, the feeling still foreign to my body, every reaction I got from having direct contact with her was a bliss. I could feel her gaze on my head as we walked inside and to the circle of people dancing to a slow song. I turned and brought her to me, she instinctively put her arms that only seemed to be covered in my blazer on my shoulders.

I held her waist close to me looking down at her.

Me: I think that blazer looks good on you but I'd prefer you in nothing.

I whispered in her ear and felt her gasp which made me smirk.

Sino: I don't know you.

She looked up at me with those eyes that keep leaving me in a trance. Her lips parted slightly confusion in her features. Perhaps from having such a reaction from a man she barely knew was what she was confused by.

Me: What do you want to know sweetheart?

Sino: What's your name?

I smirked at the question I didn't quite expect.

Me: Siyabonga Nkosi.

She seemed to process it in her head, then she looked up but I was already staring at her.

Sino: Uh- I don't know what else to ask you.

She quickly looked down, I lifted her face up.

Me: I'm 27 years old, run a few businesses and my brother is a dick. That should do for now sweetheart, yeah?

I watched her smile, probably from my last statement. This girl was beautiful and everything she did drew me to her. She was trying to suppress the smile but failing miserably, it also wasn't helping that I was staring at her like she was some prize money. Money did nothing to her, no justice at all.
