Needless to say that from the second Angela got her wings back she was constantly in the sky, Phil would try to keep up with her, just to make sure she would't fall, but would constantly lose sight of her. She still had some problems when landing but did manage to learn fairly fast, so that soon wasn't a problem anymore.

He was very surprised by her agility, she would often dive down and move through the tall trees, sometime getting tangled in some branches and needing Phil's help in order to get down.

"You know that you're a ghost right? You could just phase through those" he reminded as they flew north "Yeah, but it's a very uncomfortable feeling phasing through things, i'd rather not do it" she pouted, making Phil chuckle "Whatever you say Angy" he teased a bit.

"Whoa! What's that?" she flew down a bit, spotting a peculiar looking lake, which was literally an oasis inside an inactive volcano, a waterfall had filled it's crater, there wasn't an evident stream to drain it so she guessed it had an underground hole or something like that.

"It's beautiful" Philza added as they landed inside it, looking around at the trees and plants that thrived due to the fertile soil. It was a really nice place, the grass was soft and filled with wild flowers, Angela could see some fishes inside the water as well.

"This could be a really nice place for a swim" Phil said offhandedly, kneeling down on the shore, feeling the temperature of the water, finding it pleasantly cool.

"Do you...." she started but soon stopped herself, her voice lowering to a mumble "What?"

"..."

"What is it? I know you wanted to say something, just say it" she was a bit hesitant but spoke nonetheless "Do you.... think Techno would like this place too?" she mumbled, her cheeks going a bit red, with made Phil snicker.

"Why don't we go ask him?"

In the end Techno agreed to spend one day away from the castle, since Philza assured he would take care of the paperwork, while Sam would coordinate the guards. It took them some time to get there by horse but they did manage in the end. Needless to say the king was quite surprised by the beauty of the lake, it seemed that the water over the years had dug into the volcanic rock, creating several natural caves.

"It's a really nice place, i'll give you that" he admitted, unloading the stuff he had brought along and freeing Carl, since he too deserved a bit of a vacation. Once everything was unpacked, they had a small cloth with some food on it, as well as drinks and spare towels.

"Uhm... Y-your majesty?" she called, catching his attention "Could you... turn around please?" she asked, she was wearing her costume under some normal clothes but felt really embarrassed to take them off in front of him. He blushed a bit, immediately giving her his back, allowing her to change, as he too, took off his clothes, remaining only with a pair of shorts and a unbuttoned white shirt.

"O-ok, i'm done" she called, allowing him to turn around, she was wearing a white and blue costume, which looked divine on her, but he refrained from saying it, seeing that she was already really embarrassed.

"Do you want to go for a swim?" he proposed, earning an exited nod from her, they both walked to the shore, Techno straight up jumped in, swimming around a bit "Show off" she commented, soon joining him. She found it a bit hard to swim, seeing that her wings became pretty heavy when they were wet, but she still managed to move around and stay afloat.

Angela saw some fishes swim underneath them and decided to follow them a bit, diving under, turns out that she was a pretty fast swimmer, since by using her wings she gained an extra boost. Techno followed her, or at least tried to, she made fun of him by swimming in circle, which made him quite annoyed.

"That's not fair, you can go faster with your wings!" he pouted, making her giggle "Sucks to suck" she teased, causing the king to start chasing her around, she was faster and so always managed to escape him fairly easily. She decided to explore one of the caves after a bit, noticing a particularly big one behind the waterfall.

She climbed in, shaking off the excess water from her wings and walking around a bit, it was a pretty small cave, just about a few meters large, it was pretty dark but could still see it's end.

Techno soon reached her, climbing in as well "It's a nice hideout, well concealed and spacious" he commented, eyeing her, a grin spreading on his features as he walked closer, Angela didn't notice, as she kept her back on him.

"Be careful, it's pretty slippery" she warned, but upon not hearing any response she turned around, only to be pinned back against the wall by Techno, his hands on both sides of her neck, trapping her in place.

"Y-your ma-" she didn't get time to finish, as he passionately kissed her, she jumped in surprise but soon melted into it, giving in and kissing back, placing her hands against his chest. He licked her lips, asking for an entrance, and she complied, enjoying every bit of it, he was so delicate with her, his hands gently pulling her closer to him, wanting more closure. They kept making out for several minutes, neither of them saying anything, neither of them wanting to break apart from the other.

After a while, they eventually broke the kiss, which left them both gasping for air breathlessly, their gazes lost into each other's eyes, Techno could see that her eyes had re-gained some of their original azure color, which gave him hope.

"Y-y-your m-"

"No, i already told you" he moved his hand on her cheek, gingerly caressing it with his thumb "You can use my name, at least when we are alone" he smiled, leaning closer, his lips ghosting over hers, her hot breath sending shiver down his spine "And now it's just us" he whispered mellowly, going in to kiss her again, making her softly moan, wrapping her hands around his neck, he broke apart soon after.

"I want to hear you say it" he demanded softly, moving his other hand to take a hold of her waist "T-techno" she whispered, the way she called his name made his whole body shiver, and he loved it. This time it was her who kissed first, slightly pulling him down so for him to be at her same level, which made the king chuckle against her lips.

He pushed her against the wall, her back hitting it a bit too harshly, making her flinch and break the kiss. Techno didn't stop though, going in to kiss and suck on her neck, leaving some marks, he wanted to be possessive of what was his (not in a bad way though).

"Ah... T-techno" she softly called, trying to push him off, not really managing to. But when he slid his hand dangerously low, she pushed him harder, managing to get him off her "W-wait"

"What's wrong?" he asked, surprised by her action "I-i..." she looked away "I d-don't... feel ready f-for that y-yet...." she shyly admitted "S-sorry" she mumbled, the king sighed but released her nonetheless, if she didn't feel ready to move forward yet, then he wouldn't force her.

"It's alright" he gently took her chin, making her look at him and placing a gentile kiss on her lips "I'll wait, i'm a very patient person" he assured with a smile, which helped in making her feel more at ease "T-thank you your... Techno" she said with a loving smile, the two soon returned to shore after a while, feeling hungry. Angela had packed some sandwiches, so they ate those, the king didn't mind the simple food, quite the contrary, he found it pleasantly tasty for such a common meal.

"We could come here more often, this way i'll have the chance to eat more of your food" he said with a smile, making Angela blush a bit "I-it's nothing special really" she mumbled, smiling as well.

He grazed by accident her wing, making her jump in surprise "Sorry, i didn't mean to do it" he quickly apologized, remembering that her scars were really sensitive and so would her wings be as a result of it.

"I-it's ok, it didn't hurt, you just surprised me" she assured, blushing, it felt quite nice actually "Could.... could you do it again?" she mumbled shyly, looking away. The king smiled, gently passing a hand over her half-wet feathers, they were soft, incredibly soft, softer than any sheet or pillow he ever had.

'So soft' he thought as he kept brushing them in a neat way, she shivered a bit when his hand moved against the direction of her feathers, messing them up.

"Sorry, did that hurt?" he asked, retreating his hand a bit, she shook her head, scooting closer to him "N-no, i-it actually felt quite nice" she muttered, offering her other wing for him to brush, the king chuckled, complying and starting to brush her feathers in place. She placed her head against his chest, enjoying the warmth it gave off.

"Does it feel nice?" she nodded, nuzzling closer and closing her eyes "You're warm" her comment making him smile.

After lunch they started talking a bit, Techno asked if she could sing for him.

"I really like your voice" she was happy to oblige, since she, too, loved singing.

Angela flinched once the song was over, another memory flashing in front of her eyes, she was in this very lake, meaning that she had already been here before. She was with someone else, a girl with a flute, she was playing it while Angela was singing, they made a nice melody together.

'That was awesome! Your voice is just so beautiful, you're going to do great this weekend' she assured brightly, smiling at her. She couldn't see her face clearly yet but could make out some features, like her curly brown hair and brown eyes, as well as a small potato-like nose.

'Thank you Stephanie, you're a real friend' Stephanie chuckled 'I am your best friend after all' she teased with a smile, both of them laughing.

"Angela?" Techno called, placing a hand on her shoulder and bringing her back to reality, worry soon flooding his face as he noticed that she was crying.

"Huh?" she placed a hand on her cheek, wiping away a tear "Wha.... why am i.... " she felt her voice waver "Why am i crying?" he pulled her into a hug, she didn't know that, even though she couldn't remember it, her mind still felt the loss of her best friend.
