"What do we do now?" Tubbo asked when they finished building their 'secret base' which was really just a bunch of branches and leaves placed against a large tree. Schlatt and Punz allowed them to spend some time together close to the forest edge while they worked, as long as they didn't wander too far.

"Now we set up some traps! So whoever tries to come while we are gone will get stuck!" he said excitedly, gathering up some leaves and placing them over a small hole that was nearby, partially hiding it.

They kept setting up their 'traps' for a few more minutes until they both stopped, starting to hear something, a voice. And it seemed like it was calling them.

"Do you hear that?" Tommy asked to his friend, who nodded "It sounded like a girl" he muttered, walking closer to him, feeling a bit frightened.

'Tubbo! Tommy! Help me!'

They heard the plea echo in their head, making them flinch.

"That nice lady!" Tubbo said, shaking Tommy "That's the voice of the nice lady i met at the market! The one that always buys flowers from my dad!"

"You mean the one my dad follows around everywhere? Angela?" he nodded "Why is she talking in our heads?" he asked confused "Should we go get Punz?"

'Help me please!'

They both jumped, looking insecurely at each others.

"She sounds really scared" Tubbo mumbled, Tommy ran into the forest and towards a smaller tree, which was hollow, taking out a small sword, a real one.

"Let's go save her then!" he said excitedly.

"Where did you get that?!" Tommy shrugged "I stole it from dad's old swords, now come on, it'll be our first mission as guards!" he took his friend's hand and started to run into the forest, following the voice.

Angela woke up later that morning, feeling a dull spot on her neck where Abby hit her, she groaned, sitting up and rubbing her eyes, scanning her surroundings. She was inside a cave, the entrance seemingly blocked by some kind of dark barrier.

"Oh you're awake" Bad called, walking to her side and offering some water, which she took "Where are we?" she asked.

"Inside a small cave we found, Bad covered it with some magic since it seems that those people from before are looking for us like crazy" Abby said annoyed, laying against it's walls.

"Ah... i se-HEY WAIT A MINUTE!" she shot up on her feet "Why the hell did you knock me out?!" she shouted, now angry, Abby sighed "You were putting up a fuss and we needed to escape, i'm sorry if it hurts" she half apologized, making Bad shake his head, he knew that she wasn't the best person to admit when they did something wrong but still, she could have put a little more effort into it.

"Why did you bring me along then?! Why did you hurt Phil!? He was my friend!"

"That Elythrian? He tried to kill us" Bad pointed out "He was just trying to protect me!" she shouted back, walking towards the barrier, a zap of magic forcing her to back away.

"Drop this barrier, i have to go back to them, they are probably looking for me" she ordered, receiving a suspicious look from Abby.

"You came to save us... and for that i thank you but... why were you there, in the middle of the night and dressed like that? You're saying you're friends with that Elythrian and now that they are looking for you" she stood up, slowly walking towards her, stopping once she was about a foot from her.

"Just who are you?" she asked a bit menacingly, Angela clenched her fists in anger "My name is Angela, i'm an Elythrian and the king's fiancee" she spat back "I saved you back than because you looked like someone who needed help, but if this is how you pay back those who saved your lives than no wonder you were caged in the first place" she shot back, enraging her.

Bad noticed the tension between them and quickly pulled Abby away before she did anything stupid.

"But where are your wings then?" he asked, confused "That guy you ate, Sapnap, he took them from me... they... he used them... to cover your cages... those white feathers... they were mine..." she cringed at the memory, Bad gasped, understanding what that meant.

"Y-you're-" Abby stepped in front of him, summoning some of her magic "A white Elythrian" she growled. Angela raised a questioning eyebrow, not understanding their sudden hostility towards her. She took a step back, feeling threatened by the situation she was currently in.

"Listen, i don't know what you have against Elythrians but i don't have any intention of hurting you, why would i have saved you in the first place?" she tried to make them reason, seeing that she couldn't win in a direct battle against her.

"What do you want then?!" Abby spat out, not trusting her words "W-wait Abby! Let me talk to her first" Bad piped in, stepping in front of her "Bad!" she called, not feeling safe for her friend to be so exposed.

"Don't worry, i'll be fine" he assured with a bright smile, taking a few steps towards Angela, still stopping at a safety distance.

"Uhm... thank you for saving us and.... sorry for how we treated you" he started, making her sigh in relief "It's ok, you were scared, i can understand it" she gave him a small smile and he smiled back "Why were you there in the middle of the night?" he asked.

"I genuinely don't know, i just woke up there, i have no idea how i managed to sneak out of the castle without the guards seeing me" she answered, receiving a confused look from Abby "What do you mean? You can fl-oh... right... sorry" she quickly apologized, remembering what she told them earlier.

"Don't worry... it's not like i miss them anyway... i can't even remember it" she shook her head "That's beside the point, listen. You're looking for your friend right? And said he's called Skeppy?" Bad eagerly nodded, running up to her and taking her hands, his tail wagging a bit.

"Yes! Have you seen him?! Do you know where he is?! Is he ok?!" he asked.

"Calm down, he's in the nearby kingdom, The Antarctic Empire, which has Technoblade as king. He's building some sort of training course under his request and a guy named Dream is always with him" her expression hardened "I always had the suspicious that he was there against his will, he worked day and night, barely ate and almost never slept" she said angrily, Abby piped in.

"That fucker, Sapnap, he mentioned a guy with that name! He called him his boss!"

"It all makes sense then, he was using you as leverage to keep him under his control, but now that you are free he doesn't have that leverage anymore" she smiled "We can get your friend back" Bad's eyes filled with newfound hope and he immediately hugged Angela "Thank you! Thank you so much!" a few tears escaped his eyes.

"Wait before you thank me, you two can't come inside the kingdom, the king will have your head for what you did to Phil and me, no matter what i tell him. It's safer for you to wait here, i'll explain the situation to Skeppy and tell him to come meet you" she explained "The problem will be to get him away from Dream without him noticing" she muttered.

A knock on the other side of the barrier made them all jump in surprise and Angela suddenly disappear.

"Wha-Angela were did you go?" Abby asked, not seeing her anywhere "What do you mean? I'm still here" she called, soon reappearing in front of Bad, right where she was before but with a confused look on her face.

"Whoa! You can become invisible?!" she shouted, impressed "I can?!" Angela echoed, looking at her hands, seeing them still a bit transparent "Oh.... i guess that explains how i got out without the guards seeing me" she chuckled "Sweet"

Another knock caught their attention, Bad placed a ear against it's surface, hearing the voices of two kids on the other side.

"Why the hell did you knock again!?"

"Maybe they didn't hear it the first time"

"This is an ambush Tubbo! They aren't supposed to know that we are here!"

"Maybe they'll let us in if we ask nicely?"

"It seems like they are children" he turned to look at Abby, who looked away embarrassed "What?! You know i can't control my powers when i'm hungry!" she pouted, earning a concerned look from Angela "H-hungry? You weren't gonna eat them... right?" she asked uncertainly.

"Oh no don't worry, i just feed of their love and joy, i don't want to hurt them" she assured, looking at Bad, who nodded, soon opening a passage in the barrier, allowing the kids to come in.

"See? I told you they would let us in if we knocked" Tubbo said proudly, hiding a bit behind Tommy, both of them yelping upon seeing Bad.

"Tommy!? Tubbo!? What are you two doing out here!?" Angela asked, running up to them.

"Angela!" Tubbo hugged her "We heard your voice in the forest and came to save you" he said in a happy voice, making her groan "You two are gonna be grounded forever once we get back home, i can guarantee you" she said slightly annoyed.

"Welp, time to eat" Abby said, walking towards the kids, who quickly hid behind Angela "What are you going to do to them?" she asked, her mother instinct kicking in.

"I'm not gonna do anything, i just want to take some of their love, it won't hurt"

"But it will do something to them, what is it?" she asked, not trusting her completely "They'll just be a bit tired, don't worry i won't take much, please, i'm starving and don't want to eat another person out of blind hunger" she begged, feeling close to her limit.

Angela was a bit hesitant, not wanting to risk the kid's safety, but then again, she couldn't allow her to wander around with the threat of eating another person. She sighed, turning around to talk to them.

"Listen you two, this lady will now do some magic and you'll feel a bit tired afterwards, she won't hurt you but you have to trust me, ok?" they shakily nodded, clinging close to her and walking closer to Abby, who placed a hand on their heads, adsorbing their love, and since they were so young, there was plenty, but she kept her promise, taking only what she needed, soon releasing them.

"How are you feeling?" she asked worried "I'm ok" Tubbo said excitedly "Me too" Angela sighed in relief, looking back at Abby with a smile "Thank you" she smiled back "I should be the one thanking you know?" she chuckled.

"We'll go back to the Antarctic Empire now, i'll try to warn Skeppy as soon as i've got the chance, where do you want me to send him?" she asked.

After they explained the location they all agreed to wait at max two weeks before forcefully breaking into the castle to get their friends, Angela tried to reason with them but they weren't listening so she agreed, soon setting off with the kids towards the Antarctic Empire.

"Your fathers are gonna be so angry with you two, you know that right?" she asked sarcastically as they walked back.

"But we came on a rescue mission to save you!" Tommy pouted "Tommy you're too young to go on rescue missions, you should have gone to warn Punz or another guard" she sighed, ruffling up his hair "But thanks for the rescue boys, i appreciate it"
