Amelia's P.O.V

Adam took me to the side as Grant and Elliot spoke to the others about what they were going to do

"Alright Lia I'm going to go abit easy on you as it's your first day but don't take it for granted Alright once your in the mafia you have to give it your all okay?" Adam said putting his hands on my shoulders

"Got it boss" I said saluting him in a mocking way causing him to roll his eyes and chuckle quietly but he quickly hid it

"Can't let the others know their leader is a softie" he said putting a finger to his lips whilst giving me a wink

I laughed and nodded as he began talking

"Alright just a little warm up let's do some press ups together tell me how long u can stay I want to see how many press ups u can do before u get tired" he said going down on the floor as did I

As we got in the position he began and I followed, both of us going at the same pace

We had that rhythm where when we did one we gave each other a high five so after each press up he brought his left hand whilst I brought my right and we gave each other a 5 then we swapped hands after each one

This caused the press ups to get harder but I kept going

After what felt like an hour I took in a deep breathe and fell on the floor

"I can't do no more" I said out of breath

"Seriously you've only done 30" he said confused

I looked up at him in shock

"That's not a lot??" I said rolling over so I was on my back as my legs and arms were sprawled out

"Not a lot at all" he said shaking his head

"The lowest amount of press ups anyone in this mafia has done without getting tired is 110" he said as my jaw dropped in shock

"And the highest?" I said raising a brow

"320" he said making my jaw drop once again

"What type of human being can do that" I said standing up

"Your brother Adam" he said giving me a cocky smile

"But just doing 30 is making me feel like I'm dying what the fu-...fudge" I said

"Good save" he said turning around to all the men

"What do we do now" I said

"Do u want to start boxing?" He said scratching his chin

I nodded my head eagerly watching the men boxing on the other side

These guys are sexy as fuck. I was practically drooling watching them.

"You are not boxing with them" Dean said coming behind me as I turned around to meet his stern face

"Did u really think I would let u box with them boys?" Adam said laughing

I frowned at him I wanted to meet all the guys

"Who am I boxing with then?" I said crossing my arms

I widened my eyes as I shook my head

"Adam no he's going to kill me" I said looking at Adam with pleading eyes

"Nonsense principessa" Adam said walking away. I huffed as I made my way to the ring putting on some boxing gloves

"Alright so teach me" I said as dean stood there getting his gloves

"Okay the first thing u need to show ur opponent is confidence. Even if u are scared u can't let it show otherwise they will think your weak and will finish u off in no time" he said stopping to see if I understood. I nodded and he continued

"Secondly eye contact. Keep it, you don't ever look away first if u do ur accepting defeat and the Valentino's do not accept defeat" he stopped talking taking a break to strap his glove on

"keep a glare to show dominance and then" he said as I listened intently

All of a sudden he threw a punch at my face causing me to fall backwards as he sat on my stomach and kept me in place

"catch them off guard" he finished smirking

I glared at him but it was soon replaced with a smile as I got an idea

"Alright u win" I sighed

He looked at me with a victory grin I smiled as I came closer to his ear

"By the way cute lock screen" I said giving him a kiss on the cheek

His jaw dropped as he looked at me in shock

I smirked and quickly flipped him over as I threw a punch to his face

"I'm a Valentino I don't accept defeat" I whispered into his ear

As I pulled away he had a look of pride in his face which was soon covered by an annoyed expression

"Alright get your fat ass off me now" he said rolling his eyes as he pushed me off him

"Hey I'm not fat you cagna" (bitch) I said standing up

He raised his brow

"Where did u learn that" he said standing up too

"Google translate is my bitch" I said smiling

The double doors opened as liam walked in

"LIAM" I shouted happily running and jumping on him

What? I've not seen my bestfriend in a whole day. Sue me

He hugged me back as I pulled away all the men were glaring at him causing my brows to furrow

"It's alright guys he's no harm to her" Danny said causing the guys to loosen up

"What are u doing here?" I questioned him

"I called him" Adam said making me shoot him a confused look

"He knows about us so I thought he could have a little look in it so in the future if he ever needs a job thennn" he said shrugging his shoulders

"Seriously?!" I said excitedly I could get to WORK with my bestfriend!!!

"I know I've always found this type of shit interesting" Liam said smiling down at me from his 5'11 height

"I just did some boxing and I beat dean" I said excitedly

"I let you win" Dean said scoffing

"Sure you did" I said rolling my eyes

"I love this your so lucky lee" Liam said as we watched the men going for a run from the fields to the forest

"It gets scary at times" I whispered looking out at them

Liam looked over to me and gave me a sad smile

"I can't believe my parents did this I thought we just owned a company but in reality they were in the mafia" I said

"Oh no they do own a company" Grant said as he came to sit down next to me and Liam on the grass

"I'm gonna go run with them" Liam said to which I nodded as he ran off leaving me and Grant

He looked down as I noticed his eyes going glossy. I instantly felt bad as I pulled him in a hug

The guys were all in the forest there was no one here so no one saw him crying

"I miss them at times" he said as he pulled away wiping his tears, I nodded my head understanding his pain

"But they died with the code of omertà" he said raising his head

I looked at him in confusion

"The omertà it's the code of silence about the criminal activity that we do we live by it" he said as he pointed to his hip where I noticed a tattoo that said omertà in cursive

"We all have it" he said shocking me abit

"I didn't know any of my brothers have a tattoo" I said

"They all have one I'm not sure if they'll make you get one because it does hurt" He said

"I wouldn't mind getting one" I said looking at his tattoo

"Seems quite sick to be honest" I said poking it making him chuckle

"So hows school any smexy boys you got an eye on" he said smiling at me

Just as I was about to ask him a question he interrupted

"Alright I was going to" I said which caused him to laugh

"Did u have any protective brothers?" I asked but he shook his head

He took a deep breathe before saying
