**This chapter has mentions of suicide and depression. I wanted to let you know in advance!!**
I squeeze some hand sanitizer on my hand and rub it on my mosquito bite, sighing.
"I really need to clean my room," I hear Jungkook walk into his bedroom. "What are you doing?" he asks, coming behind me.
"If you put hand sanitizer on a mosquito bite," I say, turning around to face him, "It helps get rid of the itchiness."
"Wow, that's innovative," he wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me closer to him.
"How is that innovative?" I ask, giggling. "It's just something that my mom told me when I was younger."
He purses his lips, "I can't believe they thought that was a hickey."
"That's expected of them though," I say, and he chuckles. "You're right."
He gazes at me for a moment before speaking again, "I think you deserve to know something."
"Hm? Like what?"
"Something that I've only told the guys. Nobody else, except for now, you." He tilts his head toward the bed. "Let's sit down."
We sit down next to each other, and he takes my hand in his. "What is it?" I ask gently.
He takes a breath before starting, "Whenever I was younger, I had a lot of problems with my family."
He told me about his family problems once, but he didn't go into depth. And I didn't ask him to either.
I gaze at him intently, listening carefully.
"I was born here in Busan, but I had to move to Seoul when I was around three years old. My dad was always tending to his job. He was always so money hungry. And my mom..." his voice trails off. "She had severe depression, and my dad didn't do anything to help her. And one day...she committed suicide."

I feel his hands starting to tremble, and I take them in mine, squeezing them gently.
"Whenever I got older, I did everything I could to rebel against my father. I drank, I stayed out late, I held parties at our house, I did everything he didn't want me to do. But one night, I came home really, really drunk."
I see tears brimming at the edges of his eyes. "I blamed him for my mother's death. I looked at him and saw him as the reason for her suicide."
He gulps, "So, I took a lot of the money he had in his safe, and came here. I spent a lot of it on alcohol and drugs, stuff that I don't want anything to do with how."
He turns his head and looks at me, "But I also used it to open up the shop with Jimin. In fact, Jimin was my only friend at the time. He's my best friend, really. Through him I discovered the other guys, and we all grew really close. They practically raised me and made up for what I went through as a child."
He softly smiles, "And then I met you."
I smile warmly, wiping away the tears that have slid down his cheeks. "Thank you for telling me that."
"You deserved to know, especially after how long we've known each other now."
"You know that you can tell me anything, right? I'm here for you, Jungkook. I'll always be here for you," I say, cupping his face with my hands.
"God, I love you," he whispers, pressing his lips against mine.
ehhh i didn't know how else to end this one

The Rocky Shore
This is a LitRPG series. Every story you read here takes place in the same virtual world, with the same rules and limitations. Characters will travel, explore vast and dangerous realms, overcome obstacles, meet one another, enter into conflicts with one another, forge alliances, make horrible mistakes, and occasionally just die. A technological singularity has been achieved, and humanity has been trapped in a virtual world by a super-intelligent, self-improving artificial intelligence. This program is not malicious at all. In fact, it desires nothing except the happiness and fulfillment of every human it has copied into itself. If its decisions seem strange to you, that's only because its reasoning is far beyond ours. It recognizes that humans cannot be happy without enemies to overcome and goals to achieve, as well as the possibility of failure and death. The world it has created may be heaven or hell, depending on the free choices of the people it contains. The non-player characters who live in this realm have no idea that they are part of a vast computer system. They seem real enough, but there is no way to tell if they are truly self-aware. Even the system that created them isn't certain. This is world in which all the things that humans are used to dealing with in the abstract: skills, talents, knowledge, reputation, social status, morality, even love, exist as readable statistics that players can see and interact with objectively. This has many curious and complex effects on how people perceive themselves and the world around them. A few quick notes on the system: -Death is permanent -The system interface can only be accessed at certain locations. -Magic of diverse kinds is available and useful, but is not a good substitute for skills, physicallity, or mental prowess. Non-magical characters are common and competitive. -There is no inventory system. Characters must physically carry everything they wish to have on their person. -Healing is slow and difficult. Magical Healing is all but unheard of. Protagonists: Raymond Garrison- A man in his late twenties who used to work as a forklift operator in Idaho. His path leads him to work as a mercenary, protecting a small community of humans and goblins from the Seelie Fae who wish to exterminate them. Patricia Chandler- A elderly British woman who arrives in this new world with her grandson Kyle and her granddaughter Elizabeth. Never having dealt with rpg game mechanics before, she is in for a rough time, but she is determined to keep her grandkids alive in a world full of danger and evil. Jamil Mesbah- An Egyptian woman who once worked as a technical writer. Her path leads into a vast and hostile forest, where she must master both her magical abilities and her survival skills in order to succeed. Enjoy your travels, friends.

To the east, the Yfanorisian Republic eagerly opened trade with the newly formed kingdom eager to monopolize trade rights within the land. However, to the east, the Empire of Nimastar refused to acknowledge the fledgling kingdom. An unsteady peace has hovered over the land for the past fifteen years--but in the shadows, there are forces at work to stoke the flames of hatred and disdain between the Empire, and Vampiric kingdom. The Systems of the Multiverse - A Guide for the Multiversal Traveler
The Systems of the Multiverse have their issues. I, an observer from outside the multiverse have made it into my mission to tell you, the multiversal traveler about those issues and dangers. This is a relatively low effort NaNoWriMo and Writhathon project. I want to test myself if I can manage 55k words in a month, likely updating every single day until the end. This story is told in the form of an in universe book. Well, I say story... While this definetly won't be great, I still hope it will be enjoyable. I do my best to avoid grammar mistakes and spelling issues, but won't promise anything. Corrections are welcome, this is also an excercise to improve my writing from a technical standpoint. Not from a worldbuilding and character standpoint however, for that you need time. Oh, the keyboards (and computers) that the observer destroys are not real and only exists in story to have an excuse to easily end this story at the end of NaNoWriMo. I also personally like reading LitRPG stories, so this isn't meant to hate them. It might come over that way, but many of those issues are simply fun to think about: what would really happen if the world is so, seen through a lease of negativity :-) [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
