"So, no movie influence?"

"I've seen plenty of movies Cal."

"Okay, so maybe a little. Was it that bad?"

"Bad? Gosh no, I just...I don't know why you'd go out of your way, to take me out on a date like that."

"Was it the movie? Do you not like Pearl Harbour? Oh god, did a bug bite you? I didn't inspect the grass, which is silly because I should've-"

"Caleb! I loved it. The movie, the way you set up an entire makeshift bed, the starry skies. Everything."

"Oh. Good. So why are you so surprised?"

"Because...I just don't understand, why you'd do so much for a girl like me."

"Uhh...yeah-well okay."

Judaline looked at Caleb for any trace of lie, and upon finding none, she did something she did not imagine that she had the courage to.

She kissed Caleb.

Caleb was taken aback by the attack of Judy's soft lips on his, God he wanted to do that since forever. He was just a coward, and he couldn't thank her enough for taking the first step.

It didn't last long, Judy broke the kiss soon enough.

"You know, next time you should not think so much."

"I want to kiss you again."

"I'm sure you do, it's late though. I really have to go."

"Stay with me tonight?"

"Caleb...I-I"

"Actually no, I want to take you out on another date tomorrow. For lunch."

"Really?"

"God Judy, isn't it obvious that I really like you?"

"I-I really like you, too."

"Good, I would not have handled the rejection well."

"Of course you cry baby. I'll see you at 1?"

"Yes, see you at 1."

"Goodnight Cal."

"Goodnight baby."
