"hol, i really don't think so. i've never even met him!" you groaned.
bo and holly had been long time friends of you and also long time shippers of you and elias pettersson. the catch was you two have never even been in the same room.
"well i think you guys would be perfect." bo smiled and agreed with his wife.
holly raised her eyebrows and pointed at bo, "see kenzie, even bo thinks so."
"we've had this talk hundreds of times and i don't think bo is the expert." you whined.
"hey! but we'll talk about it 100 more." bo smiled over at you.
you sighed and rolled your eyes.
"maybe if i met him, but i haven't so..." you shrugged.
"well we still know that you're meant to be." holly said with a wink.
it seemed a little suspicious that bo and holly had let go of the soulmate thing between you and elias. usually all they did was talk about all about elias in hopes you would meet "the love of your life" soon.
unfortunately, you neglected to think about their odd actions when agreeing to go to dinner with them and some friends.
you really wanted a night out and this is what you were getting.
you put on a more formal outfit that fit the dress code of the restaurant that you were all going to.
you drove over to the restaurant and met with holly and bo along with some of his teammates and their significant others at the table.
you said hi to everyone with a little wave and tried to sit down.
suddenly, holly and bo stood up and picked you up by your arms to get you to your feet.
"um what are you doing?" you asked them with a confused look on your face.

"we are changing your life." they said and pointed at a table across the room with blond hair.
"he's waiting for you. now go and fall in love." holly said.
"you are both ridiculous. i was not prepared for this. i'm guessing that's elias then." you sighed.
bo and holly nodded, "you're future husband." holly added.
you took a deep breath and shook your head before going over to the table and sitting down.
"hey i'm kenzie." you introduced yourself.
"i'm elias." he said and shook your hand.
you later found out that this date was set up by the whole canucks team who apparently were all adamant on getting you two together.
you and elias spent the rest of the night making little small talk about things in the world along with the pestering from his teammates and your friends.
overall, you ended up liking him a lot. he was sweet, funny, and handsome. there really wasn't anything to not like about elias.
"would you like to go on another date sometime? i really enjoyed this." you asked him.
you decided to make a move seeming as you remembered that bo and holly told you endlessly that he could get pretty shy.
elias smiled and nodded, "i would love to. could i get your number so i can text you?" elias asked.
you nodded and typed your number into his phone. you smiled and hugged him before walking to bo and holly.
"you looked like you had fun kenz." bo said.
"you are both ridiculous." you said before getting in your car and driving off.
apparently, they weren't that ridiculous because you and elias have now been dating for many years.
bo and holly were currently helping elias set up an engagement plan. they pledged that they would never let you hear the end of it when you obviously would say yes.
and trust me, you never did.

How to Save a Star [BxB]
“Do you know that stars die?” I asked, breaking the silence. I didn't know where the question came from, but that's the only thing that came to mind. “Yeah,” he answered. “And some stars we see in the sky may be already dead.
