you didn't know whether winnipeg making it to the stanley cup finals made things more stressful or less stressful.
either way, you were so proud of how far pierre-luc had come.
he had worked so hard to meld in nicely with his new team and it had definitely paid off. he was successful and so were the teammates around him.
"i'll see you at the game tonight my love." pierre said and kissed your cheek while he picked up his wallet.
"good luck sweetheart. i'll be rooting for you in the crowd."
tonight was game 7 and things were quite tense. the teams had a back and forth series and tonight was the night to finish it off.
once pierre left, you began to get ready. you put on your outfit and hopped into the bathroom to apply some products to your face before leaving.
you always loved to get there early so you could grab a few drinks with the rest of the wags. it was fun to have a group of friends around you that all understood what everyone else was going through.
it was an understatement to say that everyone was excited. you were all beyond excited to see your boys play for their dream and whether they win or lose, you would all be the proudest people in the world.
though winning would leave everyone much more content.
the game was intense and fun to watch to say the least. you were all cheering like maniacs for the boys to score.
slowly the game picked up and the nerves faded away. the ice began to open up slightly and the goals began to be scored.
there were goals for both sides but nothing was more glorious than watching the jets score more.
the last few minutes of the game was a nail biter. you were nervous for what was going to happen.

the nerves faded away from the bodies of the crowd as the whole bell mts place erupted with loud cheers.
you jumped out of your seat as the jets celebrated together. you hugged the wags around you happily.
"holy shit!" you exclaimed happily.
after the cup was presented to the jets, all of the wags and family were allowed on the ice to celebrate with the new cup winners.
"luc, darling, you did it!" you yelled excitedly and he took you into his arms.
"i couldn't have done it without you." he told you and kissed your lips.
"this is amazing." you said.
one of the athletic trainers ran over to pierre and handed him something.
"what was that about?" you asked luc curiously.
pierre-luc chuckled and got on one knee.
"michelle, i am serious when i said that i would not be here if it wasn't for you. you are the person i come home to and leave all the stress at the rink. you are the person for me and i want to live with and love you for the rest of my life. will you marry me, beautiful?"
you had tears in your eyes as you nodded.
"yes baby, yes." you told him.
pierre smiled and got off his knee to give you the biggest hug ever.
you heard the large amount of remaining jets fans in the arena erupt with cheers.
"i love you. thank you for saying yes." pierre giggled as he slid the diamond on your finger.
"couldn't dream of saying no to a stanley cup winner." you joked with a giggle.
pierre hugged you again.
"this is the best day of my life."
