you and spencer were together before college had even started, at age 16 to be exact. kids in your high school always said that you and spencer were something special that everyone wanted to have.

it was harder now than it used to be. spence was going to boston college and you were all the way across the country at ucla. he played hockey and you played soccer.

it just so happened that bc and ucla were pretty hefty college soccer rivals.

the game was at bc so spencer was coming to watch. as much as he wanted to root for his school, he found it hard to cheer against his baby.

and you brought your team to a win against the bc eagles.

you spotted spencer in the crowd after each of your goals cheering like an absolute mad man. he was such a supportive boyfriend and you loved him to pieces for that.

he ran down to you after the game.

"baby, i'm so proud of you!" spence exclaimed and went in for a kiss.

you turned your head and grabbed the shirt that was under his sweatshirt, "what is this?" you asked teasingly.

under his ucla sweatshirt that had your last name on it was a maroon t-shirt.

"well i had to support my school a little baby." he chuckled.

you continued to act petty for a while until he straight up picked you up off the ground.

"you're such a little ass. now let's go." he said.

you laughed as he carried you to his car.

when you got back to his apartment, he smiled and put his hands over your eyes.

"i got you a surprise because i knew that you are absolutely elite." he chuckled.

you laughed and nodded, "well now i'm intrigued."

spencer took you into his kitchen and uncovered your eyes, "surprise!"

in front of you was a bouquet of flowers, all of your favorite snacks and drinks, and a bracelet box.

you picked up the little box and opened it. inside was a gold bracelet with 'spency' engraved on the top.

spencer showed you his wrist to show you the matching bracelet with your nickname on it that he wore.

you smiled big and jumped into his arms.

"do you like it?" spence asked curiously.

you nodded quickly, "yes spence i love it so much." you said, "thank you."

"of course baby. you deserve it. you've had a hell of a season so far and i wanted us to have something matching." spence chuckled and kissed your lips.

"now you'll let me give you kisses." he pouted and you laughed.

"you're the rival but you're a damn cute one so i can't resist." you said and kissed him again.

"well i'm glad that i'm the exception." spencer smiled.

"let's get something more comfortable than your soccer uni on you so i can cuddle you forever." spencer said as pulled you along to his room.
