you and jamie had just gotten back from a team event and you could tell he was absolutely distraught.
you had absolutely no idea why, but whenever you tried to talk to him he gave you some snarky answer or he just straight out stayed quiet.
"jamie, what the hell is wrong?" you snapped.
"nothing is wrong." he said.
"bullshit, you quite literally have been ignoring me or giving me sassy comments." you said.
"well maybe it was because the fact you were hanging out with roope for the entire night." jamie finally came out and said.
you paused for a moment and then dry laughed.
"that's so not true at all jamie. i hung out with roope because he didn't have shit to do and you were busy. i didn't want to be alone and neither did he." you said.
"you could've hung out with the other wags like the others did." jamie said.
"i did for a little bit. you were just so caught on the fact that i was hanging out with... roope." you said with a pause in the middle of your thought.
"what?" jamie asked as a large smirk stretched your face, "y/n, what now?"
"wait a quick minute." you said with a cheeky smile, "are you jealous?"
jamie's face grew stern.
"you're actually jealous of your young teammate. that's quite funny." you said.
"y/n..." jamie tested.
"what jamie?" you asked.
"i am not jealous. i was upset that you spent no time with your actual boyfriend." he said.
"sounds like you're jealous to me." you shrugged.
you could tell you were getting him round up and you absolutely loved it.
"i'm not fucking jealous y/n." jamie snapped harshly.

there was a tense silence for a while before you decided to make it worse
"yup i definitely think you're jealous."
you nodded.
jamie had enough. he backed you into the wall and put his arms on each side of you so you couldn't move.
"i'm not jealous of that kid because i know you're all mine and i'm here to remind you of that." he whispered into your face.
you nodded. jamie grabbed your chin roughly in one of his hands and tilted your head ever so slightly so he could kiss you lips.
you kissed him back and jumped into his arms.
"now what do you say?" jamie asked as you both pulled away from the intense kiss.
"i'm sorry for teasing you." you said.
"good answer." he smiled contently and went back to kissing you up against the wall.
after a while of passionate kissing, jamie set you down and released you from his grasp.
"i'll meet you in the bed huh?" jamie said.
you nodded quickly and scrambled off to the bedroom.
you were certainly in for a night.

It'll take several chapter just for our little main character to meet her future partner and there will be only a few big time skips to age the characters. I intend to have a lot of this story telling the story of how our duo grow up at a steady pace, so don't expect to see our main characters out saving the world any time soon. XD
