tyler had been in the bubble for about two months and during that time you gave birth to you and tyler's baby.

tyler had asked you what seemed like hundreds of times if you wanted him to come home, but you said no. you knew that what he was doing in the bubble was important to him. you and tyler would have the whole rest of your lives to spend with this child.

he hesitantly stayed in the bubble. you could tell he wasn't quite sure, but he kept your wishes.

because he was in the bubble when y/b/n was born, he had never met his baby except for over facetime. you could tell that tyler was so excited to come home and meet his baby.

even with his upsetting stanley cup final loss, he was ready to finally come home and meet his child for the first time.

you had to say that you were even more excited. you were ready for the extra help in the house that wasn't one of the other wags. you were happy that they offered to help you, but you just wanted tyler to come home.

jamie benn was going to be dropping tyler off at the house and you were so thankful because trying to get the car all packed up with a baby is not that easy.

when you heard the front door alarm go off, you knew that tyler was home. you smiled happily and picked y/b/n up to bring him to the front door.

tyler's smile immediately grew when he saw you and the baby.

"oh my god." he gasped and dropped his bags.

you chuckled as he gave you a quick kiss before taking the baby out of your arms.

"hi i'm dada." tyler whispered delicately to your baby, "so precious."

you were subtly filming it because you thought this was one of the cutest things in the world.

"this is so much better than facetime." tyler told you.

you nodded with glossy eyes, "absolutely."

tyler had seen everything over facetime. he had seen the birth and almost every night when you two facetimed tyler before y/b/n went to sleep.

"you're so perfect." tyler said to y/b/n.

tyler offered out one of his fingers for y/b/n and they grasped it.

"y/n" he gushed and looked at you.

"i know ty. they're adorable." you said and nodded.

"i missed you guys so much." tyler said and came over to you to give you a tight side hug.

"you're adorable with them." you said and kissed tyler's cheek.

"i hope i can be the best dad ever." tyler said and looked at you.

"you already are." you told him and kissed his lips.

tyler smiled and looked back down at the baby in his arms, "i can't believe we made this." he said.

you chuckled, "yes we did."

"i can't wait to spend all offseason with him." tyler smiled big.

you smiled back at him, "i think the baby is hungry. would you like to try feeding them?"

tyler's eyes widened and he nodded, "yes please."

you went and got a bottle from the fridge and handed it to tyler. y/b/n began to drink it up as soon as it was in their mouth.

"i say we do this again soon." tyler said to you.

"do what?" you asked curiously.

"have another baby." tyler said with begging eyes.

you laughed and shook your head, "um yeah the day that you can give birth i will say yes." you joked.
