《nhl imagines》sidney crosby // pittsburgh penguins

you were the little sister of claude giroux. you guys looked more like twins than brother and sister really. same fiery red hair, same eyes, and same hockey team.
you both played for the philadelphia flyers and tonight you were playing in one of the most iconic rivalries in hockey history, flyers v. penguins.
there was one little fork in this rivalry; you and sidney crosby had quite a thing for each other.
as much as you didn't want to admit it, it was true. there was all this playful teasing and flirting every time you saw each other.
you two had never realized or maybe you had and you just didn't want to acknowledge it.
the game went on and the flyers ended up winning in overtime.
you were about to leave when someone grabbed your wrist.
"what's up princess?" sidney said.
you turned around, "oh yeah i'm such a princess. what do you want sid?" you asked.
"no need to be sassy beautiful." he said, "i was wondering if you'd like to be my date to my cousin's wedding this summer."
you thought to yourself for a little bit, "you know what, sure. i don't have anything going on." you said.
"sounds good. i'll send you a dress i think you'll look stunning in." sidney winked at you and walked off without another word.
off-season rolled around a few months later and sid had fulfilled his promise. one day a package came to your house with a dress and a note inside.
you flew to halifax about two weeks after and sid picked you up.
"how are you doing princess? like your dress?" he asked you.
"i'm doing fine and yes the dress is nice. thank you." you responded.
"might have to take you on a date when i see you in that." sidney said.

"all you have to do is ask." you said cheekily.
he smiled and shook his head at you.
the wedding was the next day and sid being the little flirt he was to you decided that it would be a good idea to share a hotel room. thankfully, it wasn't the cliche "there's only one bed", but you still weren't pleased.
you survived the night and began to get ready for the wedding.
sid had put on a suit that looked way too good for your good.
"well damn sid you didn't have to look this good. i won't know how to act." you winked at him.
once again, he was shaking his head at you with a smile like he always did.
"hey can you help me zip up my dress?" you called from the bathroom.
sid's dress shoes clicked as he walked into the bedroom. he gently slid the zipper up your back.
you could feel his hands grazing your back with the zipper.
"thanks." you said and your cheeks flushed slightly.
"no problem princess." he said and winked.
after a little bit of you fixing your hair, you turned to find sid standing in the doorway of the bathroom.
"it's time to go." he said.
you nodded and took his arm that he had outstretched for you.
you drove to the wedding. the ceremony was stunning which got your mind wandering about what your wedding would be like.
"hopefully sid's there." you thought to yourself.
you shook the thoughts out of your head. you didn't know if you wanted sid there as a guest or as your groom, but he was thinking the same thing.
at the reception, you sat at the table and drank while talking to some people.
"hey princess, want to come dance?" sidney asked.

you chuckled and nodded, "of course handsome."
you took his hand and he guided you to the dance floor. as soon as you got there, a slow song turned on and you turned to go sit down.
"no no you're not running from me." sidney said and pulled you into him to dance.
you groaned quietly and placed one hand on his shoulder and the other in his hand.
you slow danced lightly. you couldn't help but stare at him as you guys danced.
"hey cos." sidney said.
you snapped out of your trance, "what's up?"
"um i don't know how to say this." sid began.
"maybe i know." you said.
you cupped his face in your hands and kissed his lips for a little bit.
you pulled away, "was that it?" you asked.
"yep, that was exactly it." sid nodded and moved his face into yours again.
"i love you cosette." sidney whispered, "will you go on a date with me?" he asked.
you nodded, "it was about time you asked." you chuckled.
"it's not my fault you're so oblivious." sid shrugged.
"says you!" you exclaimed.
both of you laughed and kissed one more time. you were making up for all the time and kisses that could have been if you both didn't push your feelings to the side.

The New World
An AI calling itself Schema has assimilated earth into its system. As a consequence, everyone gained access to status screens, power-ups, and skills. This AI turned these concepts from fiction to fact. It's easy to become intoxicated with leveling up and becoming stronger. To some, it's too good to be true like living out a dream. For Daniel, however, it's closer to a nightmare. He's in a bit of a predicament. Cracks in our dimensional fabric have unleashed terrifying beasts from dark, abyssal places. Schema organizes these cracks into dungeons, giving the native species of the planet a chance to fight back. Daniel finds himself trapped in one of these dungeons. Not long after, he discovers there's only one way out. Kill or be killed. (Note: I am currently editing the story and I'm uploading those edits. It will take time to do this, so if you find a huge shift in the story's formatting, that's why. I'm steadily hammering away at it, but it's going to take time. Thanks for your understanding, if you're offering it.) This is a lit-RPG inspired by the Fallout series of games and the Legend of Randidly Ghosthound. An Un-Ideal Eternity
An Un-Ideal Eternity is about a man named Desmond, who is killed, revived, and then finds himself immortal in a post-apocalyptic society. Just because it’s a society doesn’t mean that either he or “they” have to be civilized. And just because a gentleman has become immortal does not mean that he has no dangers to be wary of. The good news is that he’s been afforded some very kind and very generous ministrations from his future-self. The bad news is that all those efforts might still not be enough, to allow our hero, to live in as untroubled and as un-tumultuous a manner as he’d prefer.
