I nodded "Yes sir, I understand" he chuckled "Great, I hope you enjoy yourself working here, if you need anything remember you can always ask me or your fellow coworkers" I smiled and bowed "Thank you very much sir, I appreciate your time teaching me." He smiled and gave me a pat on the back "No need to be so formal Tokoyami you can loosen up, also you can call me by my name which is Sam" "Yes si-, I mean, Sam" he chuckled "I like you already bird boi, alright you have a customer coming your way, oh wait its (Y/N) I got this" he smiled I then faced who he was talking about and in walks this girl. She had (long/short) (Color) hair, she has the brightest (Color) eyes, she has beauty of a goddess.

I head towards the cashiers and I see the owner of the café and his employee which I haven't seen before, maybe he's new. "(Y/N)! How you been? You're here earlier than expected." said Sam I nodded "Yes, class was canceled today so I decided to come here until my next class begins which is around 4:30pm, so I plan on spending my time here until then." I smiled "Ah, I see well I appreciate you spending your time here." Sam smiled I then nodded my head "It's fine I love it here; I prefer this place than the library." I smiled "You're too sweet (Y/N), oh I got a new employee (Y/N) this is Fumikage Tokoyami, Tokoyami this is (Y/N)." he gestured "It's very nice meeting you Tokoyami," I bowed "O-oh uh, likewise miss" I smiled he's cute "You can call me by my name, it seems we'll be seeing each other a lot, I hope we can be friends." I smiled he nodded "Oh, uh okay" he chuckled "(Y/N) is a is a well-known customer here we adore her very much she is also a close friend of mine." I blushed and chuckled "Awe Sam, you're the best," "So what will it be today (Y/N)? The usual?" Sam asks me "Hm, well I would like a cup of (Coffee/Tea) please." Sam nodded "Alright, any pastries?" he asked I thought about it "Sure, surprise me." I smiled "Alrighty then, that will be $12.50" I take out my wallet and pull out my credit card "Alright Tokoyami, you can do this remember on how I taught you." Sam says to Tokoyami "I'll be here to observe." He nodded and began typing on the screen as he takes my card and swipes it, once it went through he gave me my card back I thanked them and headed to my usual spot in the corner close to the window and began to study.

"Nice job Tokoyami! You're getting the hang of this and it's your first day," Sam smiled I smiled as well feeling proud of myself and especially not making a fool of myself in front of my manager and, (Y/N). "Thank you, Sam.," "Alright, lets get (Y/N) order ready." He says, we head to the machines and Sam taught me how to make (Coffee/Tea), seems easy enough then after we went to where the pastries were "Alright, so what do you think we should get for (Y/N)?" Sam asks me "U-UH I don't know s-sir, I think anything would be fine." I blushed, Sam faces me then smirks "Oh dear," I looked at him nervously "You.. LIKE (Y/N)!!" I blushed harder I nervously laughed "U-Uh, I think you have the wrong idea sir! I just met her," I laughed nervously why am I so nervous? "And!? It's called love at first sight. And right when she came from those doors you instantly fell in love with her!" He pointed out I blushed even more I felt as if my head was going to burst in flames "It's okay though, (Y/N) is something from what I've heard," "Hm?" "What I mean, the girl has looks I'll give you that, but she does have a heart of gold, she is pure." he commented we both look towards where (Y/N) is seated typing away on her laptop "Did you like her?" I asked till I realized what I had just asked him especially since he is my supervisor! "F-Forgive me!" I bowed he then turns to me "It's fine, and to be honest at first yes I had, but I didn't do or say anything I just thought that I rather not have our friendship ruined. And look at us now I see her as a little sister." He laughed then continued "I wouldn't mind if she dated you though." I looked up to him "How so?" I asked "Well, I can tell you're not the type of man that would manipulate anyone or disrespect someone especially towards a women," He says "You know her last boyfriend was a total jerk towards her, he cheated on her twice, the second I caught him I even went up to the guy and beat his ass," I gulped when I herd the anger in his voice "Then after I went and told her about what I saw, she was severely heartbroken, she probably had loved him oh so much, I had never seen (Y/N) cry until that day. It broke me." I nodded "I see, I didn't know that. Why would someone want to hurt her, to me, I see her too pure for this world." I said now feeling a bit insecure "Maybe it wouldn't be a great if she ended up with me, I mean like I said she is pure and I'm just nothing but a mutant." Sam lifts his fist and hits my head I held onto my head "Oii!" I said angrily "You're such a downer, I can definitely bet your ass she will totally go out with you," he says "How?," "Because, besides the stuff I see in you, she is also into the "gothic stereotypes" I gave him a blank stare really!? "Now (Y/N) favorite is (Favorite Fruit) so get something that has that and give it to her after that ask her out!!" I was shaking nervously Sam must've notice "Hey, just calm down and go up to her and ask her out" he says while handing me the tray "After this, you can take your break." He says as he walks somewhere else to do other work. Tray in hand I walked towards (Y/N) "Thank you for waiting."

"Ah yes, thank you very much," Tokoyami puts my cup on the table along with a pastry I took a quick whiff "Mmm, it smells quite lovely and is it (Favorite Fruit)?" Tokoyami nodded "Yes madam, it's an angel cake made with egg whites, flour, and sugar. Its aerated texture comes from whipped egg whites." I hummed and took a bite of the cake "It's delicious, thank you very much," he nodded "No problem, I do apologize for the long wait.," "No worries, I kept myself occupied with my assignments." I smiled "I see, well I'll leave you to it then, if you need anything else please don't hesitate to ask." He added before he would leave I stopped him "Well, when is your break?" I asked he turn and faced me "I have my break right now, why?" He asks "Would you like to sit with me during your break? I would like some company." I smiled he seemed nervous and suddenly shy but I pushed it off since I'm oblivious "W-Well, okay" he says as he sat in front of me "So, Tokoyami tell me about yourself, what do you think of your new job?" I asked "I'll admit I am having a good time here, I am learning many things it is a lot but I can manage" he answers "I see, I'm glad your first day is going well, Sam is pretty cool and he is nice and caring towards his employees so you're pretty lucky to have him as your manager, not everyone is like him you know." He nodded "I agree" we both smiled "Oi, Tokoyami we need you back please" says Sam "Well seems like your break is over huh?" I asked "Y-Yes ma'am, my apologies," I giggled "It's alright, seems like Sam needs you back, good luck Tokoyami"

{Time Skip}

Time has passed and it seems (Y/N) must take her leave to her class

"Well Tokoyami, Sam, I'll be on my way out now," she says with a smile "Awee alright (Y/N)-Chan good luck see you tomorrow!" Sam waves "I hope I get to see you again Tokoyami, goodbye" (Y/N) bows and opens the door "W-Wait!" he says as he leaves from the register she faced towards him "I-I would love to see you again, m-may I have your number, please" he blushed along with (Y/N) "O-Oh of course" they both exchanged their contact information "Okay, cool tha-" "Forgive me, but may I take you out on a date?" Tokoyami asks (Y/N) blushed madly her face turning crimson red she did not expect that from Tokoyami "I-I understand if you don't want to" "N-No no, sorry, it just caught me off guard ehehe, um, yes I'd love to" she says "R-Really? Okay I'll text or call you later about it then!" He says I nodded "Okay, see you later Toko-kun" she says in a smile. "SEE! I told you she'll say yes!!!" Sam tells Tokoyami being proud of him! Now Tokoyami has to deal with Sam's teasing.
