"thank's rikido," tokoyami said happily as he grabbed one of Sato's sandwiches

sato smiled as tokoyami took a bite out of the sandwich

but as the birds head swallowed the bite, a confused look seemed to appear on his face

"hmm? tastes different from the usual chicken and salad, what's in it?" tokoyami pondered, he wasn't complaining, it was tasty

but...it seemed to have a growing kick to it

"just a bit of spice, it grows so I recommend...oh, no" sato began to explain before stoping in realisation

"what's wrong?" tokoyami questioned as he finished his second bite

"heh, uh, I might have, accidentally...gave you bakugo's sandwich with extra flaming hot sauce," sato said sheepishly

"what?" tokoyami questioned before feeling his mouth start to get hotter

(oh no) tokoyami panicked inside, as he held his hands to his beak

"here, have some water," sato said as he passed a glass of the liquid to the raven head

only for a purple gremlin to come and "yoink" it out of his grip

"Thanks, for the drink, I'm parched," he said happily as he walked away

meanwhile, tokoyami had to battle the fiery demon inside his mouth

but unfortunately, he was loosing

tokoyami couldn't keep it in anymore

purple flames exploded from his mouth

flowing so far to scorch the purple stain's body

"holy-" sato exclaimed as he threw another glass of water into tokoyami's mouth

luckily it was able to extinguish the flames

"t, thank you," tokoyami said as he regained speech with relife, his mouth no longer spouting fire but instead released smoke into the air

"what was that?!" sato asked in shock

(well the cat was out of the bag) tokoyami thought as he let out a sigh

"my father has a bird quirk and my mother has a bird quirk, but my grandmother also has a dragon quirk, which I seemed to also have acquired" tokoyami explained

"that's cool, how come you've never shown it before?" sato asked in both excitement and wonder

"it only activates when I eat spicy food, due to that I don't have a lot of control over it" tokoyami began to explain

"I already have enough time controlling dark shadow, but, one day, I do hope to properly train my flames, like a hidden secret quirk that if I am ever in a life or death situation I could trick the villains with" tokoyami finished before looking at sato, who seemed to be giving the raven his full attention

"so, I'm asking you as a fellow hero in training and trusted friend to never reveal this part of me until I am ready to do so myself," tokoyami said to the sugar hero

to this sero simply smiled

"tokoyami, you can trust me, I won't tell you a single soul, and to make it easier, I'll make sure to never serve you spicy food ever again" sato promised

to this tokoyami pulled a small smile of his own

"thank you, my friend"
