"behold! my latest invention" mei declared as she showed off her newest invention to the class of 1-A

in the middle of the room, there was a cubical like machine that mei was hugging tightly as she called it her baby

"soooo, what does it do?" Ochoco asked in wonder

mei's eyes seemed to become stars

"I'm glad you asked my positively bubbly buddy, it's simple really" she began as she smirked as she adjusted her glasses

while others listened closely with interest

others, not so much

"go long" sero declared as he threw a ball to his electric best friend

kiminari backed up to catch the ball

only he didn't watch where he was going

as he ran backwards he accidentally collided into the back of a raven headed student minding his own business

tokoyami was pushed into the machine and kiminari who had managed to slip and slide so fast he also entered the machine

the doors closed as the machine powered up

mei scrambled with the controls as she tried to stop the machine, only nothing seemed to work

"what's going to happen to them?" shoji asked anxiously

mei hadn't been able to explain what the machine did before kiminari and tokoyami entered her baby

and she wasn't able to do now as the doors of the machine opened with smoke

instead of the figures of tokoyami and kiminari exiting the machine

only one, new figure exited

the students could only stare in amazement at the sight

it was a boy with a bird head with black and yellow feathers, he wore a white t-shirt with black pants along with a black cape that had a jagged shape at the end of it, sparks seemed to fly from the feathers that were styled like the original kiminari's

and two set's of eyes looked around the room in confusion, one pair was blood red, whilst the other was yellow

"tokoyami...kiminari?" midoriya began to question

only the new figure interrupted them with a hand in a stopping motion

the other seemed to be holding its beak which held a small smirk

"that maybe the people you knew before, but that's not who I am" the new figure began dramatically

"I am, denyami!" the newly named denyami proclaimed, arms now crossed but face now facing towards the stunned students of 1-A and the crying in joy mei

as the day continued the students found out just who denyami was

he was a dramatic boy, to say the least, he was both solum and joyful, excited but also contained

he was tokoyami but he was also kiminari

neither one was in full control

they were balanced to make the ultimate hero

even their quirks were unified

it had the shape of dark shadow, but its teeth seemed to drip with electricity, one bite and a person would be fried to a crisp

and they only found that by using a dummy

mei was able to un fuse them once the day ended

the two were back to normal and themselves

but there seemed to still have slight side-effects the two struggled with for about a week

kiminari would sometimes complain about life when he seemed to have a dark day

and when tokoyami was worn out by the day he would chuckle to himself slightly and dizzily

but even so, the two seemed to be more connected personally

even without the need of mei's magical machine

which was now being used to fuse a pizza and burger together
