《The tokoyamiverse》Attack at the museum

"Alright we're here" Aizawa announced as the coach stopped at their destination
today they were going to the museum to visit the new quirk tool exhibit
these powerful weapons were able to harness and focus a hero's quirk and make it stronger
and the teachers believed that this would be good for students to learn, in case they wanted to magpie some of these tools and make some of their own
"there may be some shiny things in here so please try to restrain yourselves," Aizawa said sternly to the class
but tokoyami knew it was fully directed at him
"I am never going to live that down am I?" tokoyami grumbled with a blush
"non" Aoyama laughed
the students soon made their way to the exhibit
while students like bakugo, Aoyama and hagakure went straight for the bold and flashy weapons
tokoyami seemed to be drawn to something more subtle
but just as beautiful
there seemed to be a full Egyptian type of tool sector
and within it was a small golden spear, black leather-wrapped around it's handle and blue crystals were imbedded inside making a star-like pattern
it was simplistic yet so elegant
a warning bell rang
it bounced off the walls and filled the raven's ears
"security breach! villains have entered the museum!" a guard shouted out
the students of U.A got ready to fight off whatever intruders were coming their way
but the room began to fill with darkness
making all students blind to light and colour
"what's going on?" the voice of momo was heard
crashes and explosions and thuds were heard, obviously, the students were trying to fight the invisible force, but it was fruitless
all but one of the students were as blind as a bat

tokoyami questioned what was wrong with his friends, as he had retained his eyesight
"come on everyone's distracted" a woman's voice called
a voice tokoyami wished he would never hear again
he suddenly knew why he was the only one that could see
"let's just grab what we can and-" a males voice said before stopping suddenly
the two new figures were now in the room
a man with black feathered hair and a woman with black hair and dress stared at the raven in shock
"fumi?" the woman questioned
in an instant her hair turned into a pearl white, causing the room's darkness to vanish
the students stopped running around, stopping suddenly and stared at the two new figures
"fumi, I can't believe it's you" the woman cried as she tried to go over to him, only for him to call out darkshadow in self-defence
"Stay back!" he commanded causing the woman to freeze
"tokoyami who are these people" midoriya asked worriedly
the students were staring at the interaction with interest
tokoyami growled slightly, wishing that he would never have to reveal this part of his regretted past
but the man answered for him
"We are fumikage's parents" he stated
this would have given the students to gasp if tokoyami hadn't interrupted them
"I am not your son!" tokoyami erupted in fury
darkshadow seemed to grow 20x
the students backed off, they knew it was something tokoyami needed to fight alone
"you may have conceived me, but you didn't raise me! I would never be an offspring of such low life villains!" tokoyami continued to roar
the raven's mother was bursting with tears, her hair becoming dark once more, clogging everyone's sight except the tokoyami's
while his father had to get specialised glasses to overcome the barriers of his husband, tokoyami was born with adaptable eyes that weren't affected by his mother's quirk

"fumi, please stop!" she cried
"just turn yourselves in! get the justice you deserve-" tokoyami tried to continue before a sharp blade-like feather cut his cheek
"enough fumikage!" his father shouted
tokoyami bit his beak, shaking but stopped his rant
"We know you hate us, so get out of the way so we can go" his father continued
the glass shattered from behind the raven
the glass box that had held the dagger was now obliterated
he wasn't going to let his parents steal once again
not while he was here
"I won't let you do this, step down and stop your quirks" tokoyami ordered, although it sounded like he was begging
"I won't let you get in my way boy" his father stated as he reached for another feather
before the feathered man could boomerang his feathers to retrieve the dagger tokoyami had grabbed it just in time, although the feather had cut deep into his wrist
a sudden rush of energy filled the room, pushing all but tokoyami to the ground, his mother's quirk had vanished to reveal that tokoyami's appearance seemed to change as the energy grew
his feathers were entwined with mummy-like wrappings, he was now wearing a pharaoh's headpiece and necklace with a white toga and jewelled belt, and his eye's turned crystal electric blue
"surrender now! I won't give you another warning" tokoyami proclaimed, pointing the dagger at the pair, a small but literally glowing with power darkshadow at the tip of the dagger
the couple looked at their son with awe
enough time for the museum guards to arrest them where they stood
the two were escorted out to await the hero's and police to take them to jail
not before tokoyami had one last word with them, or at least with his mother
his father refused to speak with him, ashamed that he had hurt his own son
"you looked so stunning fumi" his mother cried
(he gave the dagger back which instantly reverted him into his original state)
tokoyami couldn't help but smile, no matter how much he despised villains, he just couldn't find it in himself to hate his mother, even if she did abandon him to live with his aunt, she kept in contact but this was the first time they had seen each other in 10 years
"you could try and stay in jail this time, try to redeem yourselves" tokoyami tried to convince
but he knew she would never listen
"fumikage, we've always wanted what was best for you, and we understood that we could never give you that" she began placing a hand out to her son's cheek reassuringly
"we've dug our graves to deep to ever climb out of, but we are so happy you didn't get buried along the way, you make me proud fumikage, I love you my son" was the last she said before she was escorted to the police car and away to a prison
tokoyami had done everything in his power from collapsing to the floor in tears
but now there was nothing left to stop him from doing exactly that
as he sunk he felt the sudden rush of warmth around him
his classmates had crowded around him to give him all the comfort and supported he needed right now
and that just seemed to make him cry more

Mistbound: Eternity
The world is said to be formed out of duality of man. Good and evil, right and wrong, light and dark. And with duality, comes conflict. A meaningless clash of ideals results in pointless wars. Azlan is wanderer who doesn't falls in either category. Tired and done with the redundant world, he lives his secluded life, hunting monstrosites for coin in the crumbling province of Mountaliya, situated in the land of Forsa. The premise follows Azlan as he explores the province, experiencing the culture and its people as they try to stand unshaken amidst a cold and unforgiving world. The story is a dark fantasy that is a balance of action and world building but most importantly, it follows the people going about their daily lives. The world has entered a state of stasis, there are no high stakes, no glory to be had, only a decaying realm of ice remains. Everyone awaits for Heaven's descent, an event prophesied to bring the world out of stasis, by granting the champion of the event a wish. Heaven Shall Descend. I wanted to write a high fantasy story that doesn't focuses too much on Magic and Swordfights, but rather interactions between people, a bit of politics and ideals. This is my first attempt at writing something this huge, please let me know if you see mistakes or any problems in general, so I can learn from them. (The cover picture is from the year 1818, "Wanderer Above the Mist" by Caspar David Friedrich). I also write Short stories set in the same shared universe. You can read them here: Dark Fantasy Short Stories.

"Looking at the sunset behind me, I realize something. There is a long red trail following me. Sitting on the surface of the ocean, following the small waves and darkened by the twilight sky. "That's my blood, that is a lot of my blood," I say aloud. As if I didn't have enough to worry about already. Now I need to make sure I don't die from blood loss. I need something to stop the bleeding. With nothing better to use, I rip off my sleeve and use it as a bandage. It will help a little but without anything to disinfect the area, I'm at risk of it turning really ugly. I will just have to work with what I have for now. Shore can't be that far away. The island of Kheran is fairly close to the mainland. I've already been out here a while, drifting in the right direction. I estimate to be out of here by the end of the night. That is, if I don't freeze to death. With the water being as cold as it is, I need to keep kicking and paddling to get my heart rate up." In this thrilling, first-person narrative, a defected soldier finds himself adrift in a dire, life-or-death situation. With missing memories and few guesses as to how he got here, his lif quickly becomes a game of survival. Follow his journey through this exhilarating heart-pounder, with fluidly woven descriptions and page-turning surprises. With room for the imagination to bound with unpredictable twists and turns, this realistic science fantasy novel will have pages turning until the end. Patreon page: The Bringer

People have always thought that the undead would come from hell - that they would rise from their graves to bring their torments upon the earth. They never thought that they would come from the heavens instead and rain upon the world like divine judgment. Ten years had passed since that day. Evan had thought that he had seen all there is to see. What remained of civilized society couldn't recover. Millions of zombies wandered in every city, and thousands more roam the countryside. Every day was a struggle to survive just as it had always been. He, as well as most of the survivors that remained on earth, had resigned themselves to a life of wandering until their deaths. Their last hope was news of an underground settlement being constructed to the far west, outside the eyes of the wandering and falling undead. But then they encounter a girl who had survived in the middle of a heavily-infested city. She claims that she knows of a way to end the apocalypse once and for all. What should he and his group do?

You always were something else, weren't you? Those eyes, too brown for your own good, and that old jacket that you loved to death - falling apart, but you didn't care.Looking at it now, I suppose it was inevitable. That it would always end up like this - you, in a hospital bed, and me, on the outside.Note: This is a work that has previously been posted on AO3, so if you follow me over there, it might look familiar!
