test subject D-9341

a former level 4 senior researcher caught doing unauthorized research on an anomalous property known as a "spiral gestalt"

now thanks to his insubordination he was a human test subject in a secretive organization dedicated to containing any anomalous artefacts, entities and locations that threaten the normality of the world

as a Class-D test subject, it meant that he was on death row

and now he was alone in a cell as he waited for his chance to escape

he waited in his cell before two guards came to escort him somewhere new, something they had just recently discovered

shoji knew he had to leave, or he would be terminated by a poisonous gas

like he wasn't having enough trouble in staying alive, if not awake

they did something to him

something that made shoji need to remotely blink his eyes instead of them doing it themselves

he was forced along with two other test subjects

he knew what he was being used for

he was going to be used to perform tests on an SCP

a concrete statue

he knew that it could move at high speeds and attack by snapping of the neck at the base of the skull or strangulation when not in the direct line of sight of a person

but as he and his two other dead men entered the room, all thoughts excited his mind to properly focus on the creature

a scissor/knife-like creature with two pairs of arms and legs, his body sharp and metal-like, his head like an animatronic, a metal bird that had its fake flesh ripped off to show the endoskeleton underneath

it was just staring at the wall, it's body twitching, making a steel scrapping noise along with its heavy breathing

I knew we were being told the instructions as the two started to approach the beast

but I stayed still

suddenly things started to go wrong

the site's power and door control systems begin to malfunction

allowing SCP-173 to kill the other two test subjects, almost killing shoji if he had not ducked away quickly as it escaped into the ventilation system

now it was time for shoji to escape

A site-wide broadcast then announces that several SCPs have breached containment had started as quickly as the events started

forcing the site to be put under lockdown

making shoji's escape much more complicated

shoji began to roam around the facility while trying to survive many of the escaped SCPs which roam the facility as well

throughout the journey, shoji had many obstacles

including SCP-106 (an entity resembling a decaying old man that may travel through matter and which attempted to drag shoji into a pocket dimension to kill him)

SCP-096 (a humanoid creature that would have unavoidably chased and killed shoji if he had viewed the creature's face) he had not done so as he had left it alone making it docile

additionally, he had to evade the Nine-Tailed Fox soldiers deployed to recapture the SCPs, as they have been ordered to target and kill any stray Class-D personnel

and that meant him

but luckily, he had found numerous objects to help him throughout the facility

but as got closer to freedom he encountered SCP-079

a malicious artificial intelligence inhabiting a microcomputer

a scissor/knife-like creature with two pairs of arms and legs, his body sharp and metal-like, his head like an animatronic, a metal bird that had its fake flesh ripped off to show the endoskeleton underneath

its code number ripped out of its flesh and instead engraved was his new name

tokoyami fumikage

he that had caused the power outage

it was he that had control over the facility

it was he that had resulted in the foundation being too busy recontinuing it

it stared at shoji with creepy yet amused eyes

it proposed to shoji to reactivates the door control system,

this would allow SCP-079/tokoyami to regain control over the doors

but in exchange for helping, it would allow shoji to escape the facility

shoji was hesitant

but he knew he had no choice

if he stayed, he would be killed

he looked to the disfigured creature and re-activated the door control system

tokoyami laughed maniacally as he waved shoji goodbye

but the fight wasn't done

shoji was faced with two different exits, Gate A and B

he couldn't remember which one was the true exit

he had come this far

he would just have to change it

he chose Gate A

he for a brief moment he was free

free from the facility and free to go back home

but that didn't last long

task force units suddenly appeared out of no-where

looking back, he saw tokoyami continue to laugh at him

he began to run away from the task force

but it was no use

he had been captured once again

but his efforts had not been in vain

in the papers and radios, he had been mentioned, still by D-9341 however, mentioning his extraordinary luck and ability to overcome any hazardous threats that the containment breach produced; the classification of D-9341 as an SCP subject is also considered.
