"how the fxxk do we get into these situations?" bakugo asked in annoyance
the whole class excluding tokoyami since he had fallen sick and was recovering in his room had suddenly been transported to a world of fantasy
no one remembered how they got there other than a weird floating hammer circling the class creating a portal to this new world
"doesn't matter how we got in, what matters now is getting out," Jiro said
they were seemingly standing on a border where the only things they could see was the sea, boats on said sea and a tavern that was the only building insight
"let's check if anyone in here knows anything about...what happened," Minetta said as he ran into the tavern
it was a good idea, but it seemed he only wanted to go inside for the booze
but that wasn't the only thing that they found
in the tavern, only 3 figures were inside
the tavern owners
and one very familiar-looking pirate angel
"t.tokoyami" asui questioned with shock
the individual looked to her in question
"yes?" he uttered
although he did look like his friend there were some big differences
he had seemed to have aged up along with the new look, around 25yrs old he seemed, he had long feathers that both flowed down from his head and pirate hat that went down to his ankle's, along with the general black and red pirate suite
and if you looked closely you could even see he had piercing white fangs
"Sorry, but do I know ye?" he asked as he waved to the barkeep to give him another round
"um, sorry no but you look almost identical to someone we know," momo said gently trying to make her voice calm and collected although her mind wasn't, neither was her classmates

this new tokoyami although rugged was beyond handsome, holding a type of charisma that screamed bad yet gentle boy that confused the students when they found themselves blushing
"ah, ye not from around here I take it" tokoyami questioned as his drink slid to his hand
the students shook their heads to answer the pirate's question, yet their eyes budged in shock when looking at the size of the glass
it was the same size as Minetta
"right, let me finish this off then we can get you all to where you belong," tokoyami said before chugging the entire glass within 15 seconds flat
"Right, let's go," he said as he picked up two large barrels that seemed to contain even more beer or some other alcoholic beverage
the students were beyond impressed, this tokoyami just wiped the foam away from his beak-like it was nothing and continued to the ship, not even swaying or anything to indicate he had been drinking
(so cool) the students thought in awe
they were soon all on the boat, meeting tokoyami's random crew that seemed to be nice enough, there weren't any other versions of themselves so it spared them the confusion of getting their names mixed
and soon they were off
"so...captain tokoyami sir" koda began before being interrupted by kiminari
"how do you know we're not from around here?"
tokoyami was handed another glass, now larger, by his crew member before acknowledging the electric boy's question
"We get a lot of other-dimensional around here, the people in charge gives me permission to use the wrap tunnels to get you all back home which keeps me in business to explore, and buy me the supplies for me ship and crew" tokoyami answered as gulped the alcohol in one swoop
Advertisement
(how is he not even a little tipsy yet?) the students asked to themselves
"don't question it, not even the captain knows" one of the crew members laughed, seeing their questioning faces
suddenly there was light, they were about to enter the tunnel
" I suggest ye close your eyes for this bit, can get a bit sickly if ye are not used to it" tokoyami instructed
the experience was one like the tunnel of willy Wonka, excluding the creepy singing
and in an instance, they were back in their dimension
the ship just hovering above the grassy land that was behind the U.A building
"right, this is where you all be getting off," tokoyami said as he waved the students of the boat and back onto their land
"be glad meeting you, but try and stay in your dimension, makes me life a bit easier" tokoyami laughed as the light came back
and suddenly the ship was gone and leaving the sky clear and blue
leaving the students staring at the sky in wonder
and the tokoyami of that dimension looking through his dorm window and question "what on earth are in these things?" as he looked to the medicine that he was taking

A quest that just might end up changing the fate of the entire world. ————————————————————————————————————- What do readers say about it? ————————————————————————————————————- "Aethernea is my absolute favorite read on wattpad, I love it as much as I love Harry Potter and The Mortal Instruments. You have such an amazing way to make the words flow and unbelievable descriptions. Unique characters and a great story line. All the small clues and mystery in the humor and fantasy just makes the book perfect in my opinion. I read all chapters in two days! Less than 48 hours even! I'm REALLY looking forward to the next update, the world of Aethernea is so deep and well thought out, it's beautiful and magical. God I can't believe how creative you are, so many small details with so many families and stories everywhere. Purely fantastical, I admire you." - astro-logical from Wattpad "I love love love Aethernea so much! It is amazing how you created this new world with different creatures, magics, looks, illnesses, and evil! I was blown away by your explanation of the Mana pools and how to weave magic! Simply stunning really! You are one of my favorite authors and Wattpad and I am so glad I stumbled upon Aethernea because it is worth all of my time reading!" - Adriana_V_Blade from Wattpad "I absolutely am loving Aethernea so far. I am certain you belong in the ranks among J.K. Rowling, Rick Riordan, Suzane Collinings, and many more great and wonderful authors. You opened up a whole new world for me, which only a few great authors have accomplished. While it's true I am pulled into each and every book, few are able to capture me to the point of inescapability. Though, somehow, you have managed this feat. I thank you for this and more! You are a wonderful author and can't wait for more to come!" - daughterofpercabeth7 from Wattpad "WOW! just caught Aethernea in gravity tales! Just when I was getting tired of most xianxia novels this appears and completely blows my mind! I really like the depth and the humorous touch you give the characters and it seems you have the storyline well thought out since you are always hinting about things in the past and the future. It has been such an enjoyable experience that I couldn't stop reading, finishing it in just one day and laughing my way through most of the episodes. But what keeps me so excited for what's coming is the magic system and the professions of the world you are creating. The magic mechanics have such a huge potential! They are simple but at the same time they open so many possibilities. Even though we still only understand the basics of transmutation and augmentation, I expect them to enable fights where there is need of quick thinking and skill, and not just brainless overpower of every opponent. In a way this makes me reminiscent about The Mistborn Series by Brandon Sanderson, which are one of my favorite series ever. The thing that sets Mistborn apart from any other series is that the mechanics are so well thought out that they could be used to create a super cool triple A video game and I cannot help but hope Aethernea reaches the same level or even surpass it. I really think it has that potential. Really hope this series gets the attention it deserves. As for me, Thursdays and Sundays just got a whole more exciting! =)" - AlexMLion "Your writing is fantastic and riveting, the chapters and character flow so smooth, and it captivates the reader with the many twist and turns that tricks one mind into thinking this is about to happen, when suddenly the exact opposite happens. You truly are in inspirational writer with a brilliant mind that can see and put words into chapters and into this one truly awesome book. Thank you!" - AshleyStaar from Wattpad "I loved this story, such detailed description and accurate words, both Kiel and Elaru completely caught my attention, your writing style is just beautiful and the plot is astounding and it's just the first episode! This kind of fantasy stories are my favourite, it has a lot of magic in it, rivalry and sense of humour." - BlackWhiteD from Wattpad
