soft snores could be heard above the students of 1-A
all were in their dorms and the main living room
as they finished eating their breakfast the noise soon began to make itself appear
the shallow breaths also began to get on each other's nerves and made the students very determined to find where it was coming from
"uhh...guys" mina began with a confused but amused look on her face as it looked to the ceiling
making the other students stare up as well
tokoyami was fast asleep on the ceiling light, the metal bars holding him up in a bridal style
some of the students needed a moment to process this
"tokoyami!" bakugo shouted, having the loudest voice
which had woken the raven up
tokoyami stretched and gave a big yawn
he looked around once his vision cleared but by the look of his face he didn't remember how he got there
and as he looked down he was met with an audience
"Hey bro, how's it hanging" Kirishima joked
the day continued as normal
besides the embarrassment that tokoyami felt when people kept pestering him about the morning's events
but that embarrassment was soon replaced by tiredness
tiredness that seemed to be getting more noticeable
but it wasn't just today
for as long as the students knew the raven head they had always detected his sleepiness
especially when that tiredness took him to new heights and places
he could be seen sleeping everywhere
on a floaty on their swimming pool
on a stack of books in the library
even in an oven
which lead to a child's lock and a ban from the kitchen for 4 weeks
but when it came tonight
while the others were consumed with growing sleepiness it would seem as if tokoyami was filled with a new energy

"I can't believe you beat all of us, again!" Jiro cried as she slumped in defeat while the winner tokoyami was smiling proudly and held out a hand to show he was a good sport
"It is what it is" tokoyami responded
"you seem to have all this energy all of a sudden" shoji said suspiciously
"seems so" tokoyami shrugged
"it's like a weird backwards clock, you're more awake in the night and more asleep in the day, what do you call that" kiminari pondered
"nocturnal" iida pointed out
tokoyami merely rolled his eyes and tried to get back to his reading, and wait for the others who tire themselves out
it wasn't long until everyone excluding the raven head was fast asleep either on the chairs or on the floor
"ok darkshadow, let's do some late night training" tokoyami muttered determinedly
"woohoo!" darkshadow whisper yelled as the two left the building
(the next morning)
"This needs to stop" sato cried as the classmates went outside
tokoyami was once again found asleep in another peculiar place
on top of the roof
"We need to tell Aizawa about this" midoriya sighed, leaving the others outside to deal with what outside was called
when the tired teacher came outside
a look of "I haven't had enough coffee to deal with this" appearing on his face
"get him down and I'll have a chat with him" he murmured
(after tokoyami woke up)
"tokoyami, these incidents seem to be continuing, a reason to why," Aizawa asked, knowing what it was like with sleep problems
"I just can't sleep at night sir" tokoyami admitted
Aizawa pondered further
"I know this may be a weird question but do any other members of your family have...bird mutations" Aizawa questioned
"my grandfather had some owl features" tokoyami admitted, though confused why his teacher was asking him this, besides he showed more raven then any other species
"I know you show more of raven attributes, but, it could be possible you inherited a nocturnal gene" his teacher added
"but, what should I do then, I can't just miss class because I'm tired" tokoyami panicked
"that's why I'm prescribing you some sleeping pills that will help you get to sleep during the night," Aizawa said as he leads the raven to the hospital ward
the pills worked like a charm
but he was still found in weird places, thanks for the pills that caused sleepwalking
"WHO FORGOT TO LOCK THE OVEN" bakugo shouted as he pulled a well-rested tokoyami out of the dormant fire pit

At The Lions Gate
In the 20th century America reinvented itself. Devastated by depression, scarred by war, rocked by a revolution, Americans banded together to preserve their country and their freedom. They had faith in themselves, faith in one another, and for those who believed…faith in God. This novel tells the story of one American who lived through those turbulent years….years that would test his character and the character of a nation. For Josh Sanders it begins in 1935. A star athlete in school, pro football is a ticket out of poverty during the Great Depression; but when his father, a WWI veteran, is killed during a robbery, Josh’s spirit is broken, and with it his boyhood dream. To honor his father Josh joins the war effort in 1942, distinguishing himself as a fighter pilot, until a fateful decision near the end of the war changes the course of his life once again. But many years later, after a stint as a boxer and a failed marriage, Josh finds his calling…at a time when the country is at war with itself. The year is 1968. King and Kennedy have been killed, race riots are breaking out, and Vietnam has become an albatross, causing massive protests across the country. In the streets of San Francisco Josh watches a crowd of students march for peace. As a veteran he’s conflicted, toward the war and those who oppose it. But when he encounters Rosy Goldin, a spirited young protester in need of help, a voice from the past calls him to action. His good intentions are soon tested when Rosy falls in love with the fugitive anti-war activist Erick White, a young man determined to oppose the war at all costs, against the wishes of his own father. Fearful of what happens to Rosy, Josh confronts Erick, unwilling to be part of his plan to escape…until he meets the boy’s father. A high-powered criminal attorney, Karl White is also a flag-waving patriot demanding that his son follow the law. But as White makes his case Josh is jolted by a painful war-time memory, a crisis of conscience that will soon determine the fate of Rosy Goldin and Erick White.
