《The tokoyamiverse》scare of the year

requested by Ksaplayz
once every 5 years on the 30th of October U.A held a challenge for all the students
whoever could make the most amazing scare of all time, would be announced the best scarer and get a gold medal
and this year's 1-A were the most determined to win
and with most of the class being extremely competitive
this was defiantly going to be a day they were never going to forget
their scares were being recorded with hidden camera's all around the school, even the toilets (but not in the stalls, they weren't perverts like some people)
"may as well give up your extra's, I can scare people with just looking at them" bakugo declared proudly
"oh please, nearly everyone is used to your outbursts, besides I have a better chance of winning, I'm super kind and they will never see it coming" Kirishima responded slyly
"if that's the case then I'm going to win," midoriya, occacho and hagukara and koda said altogether, all surprised that they had just said the same thing
even the most silent students like shoji and were even boasting about winning
and then the day had come
all students got out of bed and ready to begin
screams of terror were heard all across the buildings
the paint was flung, explosions were let off, masks were worn and people had jumped out in surprise
and of course, people celebrated early as they saw their scores on the board
as of right now bakugo was first
and it was nearly night, meaning the competition was almost over
yet there was still one being that hadn't been recorded yet
suddenly all class 1-A's phones buzzed in alert
apparently, there was another event that was happening on the 30th of October
tokoyami's birthday
this was a scare on its own

the students hadn't seen the raven head all-day
"How could have we forgotten!" yuga asked in shame
"poor tokoyami, he must feel so abandoned," momo said sadly
"We must go and apologise at once" iida declared
all nodded in agreement as they all went to tokoyami's room
"tokobro, are you in there, we want to apologise for forgetting your birthday," kiminari said as he knocked on the door
"way to rub salt in the wound dude," sero said, slapping kiminari on the head
only there was no answer, but a light under the door told them he was defiantly inside
so, they opened the door themselves
but as they went inside, they could tell something was up
the figure of tokoyami was sitting in his chair and staring at out the window, red sprinkled in his carpet and pooled around the raven
"t,tokoyami?" midoriya asked as he came closer
but as he put his hand on his shoulder his body shook
and his head fell off onto the floor, blood poured out of the neck as the head rolled over to the student's feet
but as it rolled it floated into the air and screamed at the ghostly pale students
they ran out of the room screaming and crying, some even wetting themselves in fear
leaving a hiding tokoyami laughing in his room staring after the terrified students
"great work dark shadow" tokoyami laughed as he high-fived his quirk who was holding his fake head that leaked out strawberry flavoured fake blood
that's when he turned to the camera in his room and gave it a thumbs up
in the watchtower horrified yet impressed teachers watched the raven head, some returning the gesture even though they knew he couldn't see them
the next day tokoyami was strolling down the hallway and dorms pridefully with his gold medal around his neck
"do you really have to flaunt your victory; you could have given us a panic attack!" mina tried to scold
"That was the point," tokoyami said as he grabbed an apple
"But seriously we're so sorry" shoji apologised
"it's fine, seeing you all run off like that was punishment enough" tokoyami laughed
But added on darkly
"But I do require a cake"
Which all students agreed with fast and scared nods of agreement

The Programmer's Dungeon [Progression, LitRPG]
Vincent, a college student from Earth, has been transported to another world full of strange powers and fantastic monsters. Ideally, this would be the start of his journey to become a legendary hero, build an everlasting empire, and gather a personal harem. But no one said that this new world would be easy… After escaping an assassination that accidentally befell him, he was forced to become a Dungeon Master. What will an average programmer student do when he finds out that he can code the dungeon? Vanquish those savages above with his tech and savviness — along with an army of golems? “Wait, this world isn’t even medieval?!” With all the questions piling up in his head, Vincent is set to uncover all these secrets! And… conquer the world, perhaps? The hard reboot of “The Programmer’s Dungeon.” It has an almost completely different plot, cast, and storyline, so expect tons of improvement from the old one. Disclaimer: This is a softcore LitRPG story; there are stats but no levels. Also, the LitRPG element isn’t the main focus of the story itself and is more of a support. I have enabled the reader’s suggestion, and therefore, you can correct any grammar mistakes and typos you find in the story. There will definitely be some that I miss. Cheers! The cover was made by Jack0fheart, so a shout-out for him. Releasing 3 chapters per week at 12.00 GMT on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday with at least 2000+ words. Keepers of the Neeft
The Indigo Empire has conquered half the world’s nations, their people, and their gods. According to its citizens, old and new, the rest of the world will follow. In the capital of the Throne-home, the Imperial Academy produces the next generation of great leaders to drive that expansion. Cadryn Bence knows he will be one such leader, he’s overcome his common birth, mixed heritage, and every other obstacle to be the top of his class. He dreams of glory on the southern front against the Gravanik States. He will not be finding it. Instead, if the glory he expects. Far to the north, lies the unassumingly named North-Eastern Extreme Frontier Tower, a backwater post if ever there were one. Through the machinations of the Emperor’s state religion, and a cult within it, Cadryn will find himself on his way to this first assignment. On the frontier, Cadryn will discover that neither his campions, nor the Neeft itself, are what he expects. Follow Cadryn on his journey to discover many truths: about himself, about the Empire, and about the very world he call home. ****** Keepers of the Neeft is a (bit dark) fantasy story revolving around Cadryn and his journey of discovery. There’s a fairly wide cast of supporting characters (his fellow Keepers) all with their own reasons and motivations behind how they came to be at the Neeft. Current release plan is to have part 2 completed, then fully edit up till the end of part 2. I am in the process of editing the earlier content as I complete the updates/re-writes. Apologies for any rough content in the meantime. My primary objective with Keepers of the Neeft is to work on developing content flow and establishing a community of people who enjoy my writing style. I write SF/F and horror as my primary genres, Keepers is actually my 3rd novel length work, but my current project. Updates of new Content will currently be in the form of one larger post on Tuesdays.
