"who's turn is it to cook now?" mina asked curiously
it was getting late and everyone was starting to get hungry
the only thing was that no one wanted to do it
training had been exhausting and all their bodies ached
it would usually either be baukgo or sato but both had pushed it so hard that they had multiple painful sprains
"didn't we create a wheel or something?" Denki asked
the class hadn't taken that out in ages, mainly because some of the students simply couldn't cook, many ending up in painful stomach aches or food poisoning
"Are we sure sato or Baku can't do it?" sero chuckled sheepishly
but looking at the two, it was obvious that was a no
"I'll get the wheel," Kirishima said as he got off the sofa
the was soon wheel brought down and spun
most of the students looking at the spinning circle in anticipation
it soon began to slow down
and when it stopped
it landed on a black and purple square with the initials
F, T
causing all heads to turn to the student with those exact initials
who was not paying attention to the chaos
reading his book happily
that was before it was whipped right out of his grip
"hey!" tokoyami started as he looked up
but soon found himself being stared at by almost all 1-A students
"congrats tokobro, you're making tea tonight," kiminari said sweetly
"what?" tokoyami asked confusingly before staring at the wheel of doom
"oh" tokoyami merely stated
it wasn't long until tokoyami was in the kitchen and fixing up something for tea
but no one knew what to suspect from the raven head
the wheel had never chosen tokoyami to cook meaning that tokoyami had never made a meal for anyone in their class

this made all the students weary and suspect
but as they secretly watched the birds head prepare their meals
they were taken away with the elegance of tokoyami's prepping and cooking
they knew he had a sword in his room but the way he handled the knives was memorising
chopping the peppers and onions with such precision
poking the sizzling minced meat until it was breathtakingly brown
swiftly swirling the boiling noodles to perfection
and plating them with such magnificence
"ok everyone, dinner is served" tokoyami announced
all sat down to the table as they were served tokoyami's famous spaghetti bolognese along with cheesy and onion garlic bread
the food looked delicious
but it could always taste bad, they desperately hoped not
"it's my great grandmother's secret recipe, so I hope you all enjoy" tokoyami announced as he began to eat
this made the students pray it was delicious
and with one mouthful
they knew their prayers had been answered
it was delicious, mouth-watering, delectable, flavoursome and so on and so on
it was like eating something prepared by the gods
and all of them savoured every last mouthful
"I vote tokoyami as main chef" hagakura called out
all students being in agreement
even bakugo and sato agreed as they continued to lick their bowls
causing tokoyami to smile in pleasure
his great great grandmother would be proud

Life exists under Europa’s ice, but there’s doubt in the data. Against of backdrop of escalating tensions, double-sided revelations of first contact ripple through all involved as the probe attempts the first landing on the ice of Europa. The novel intertwines perspectives of Earth and under Europa as all struggle for truth. For fifteen years, the Europa Clipper has hinted at life under the ice-shell of Europa. An eccentric mogul, bent on expanding his legacy—funds and launches the first privately funded probe to Jupiter. The robotic submarine can reach the ocean floor and returning by an expertly trained AI. Tensions flare between the United States and China, while cyberattack threatens the project. Meanwhile, Dalton, a self-sabotaging synthetic data engineer, longs to make a name for himself in the scientific community, even at the cost of being infamous. Unknown to Earth, alien society has penetrated up the kilometers of ice, and has long researched ‘Nullworld,’ the mysterious ‘ether’ beyond the ice from which no sonar returns. Tensions in their global society have escalated as their city-state fights with a neighbor whose hydrothermal vent has run cold. Now the military caste is in control, halted all research, and pressed capable scientists and engineers into militia service. The alien scientist must escape and bring back research he hopes will diffuse tensions: the revelation of another water world. This is the second hard sci-fi novel by author Eric Kay (No Lack of Sunshine). It explores issues of data integrity in the age of adversarial information warfare, moving minds away from the brink of war, and experience versus knowledge by proxy.

Naga rising (Final version)
Eshanai used to think that her life was pretty good, that the elders of her tribe of Naga sisters had their best interests at heart. But one suspiciously regular disaster after another sort of makes you question things. So when Eshanai decides to go out on the island to do the unthinkable, break some rules, and nothing terrible happens to her like the elders said it would, her questions start to multiply. What else could the elders be wrong about? Were the Naga really chosen by the spirits? And could there be other people out there, beyond their island? Follow Eshanai and some of her sisters as she tries to find a way to leave the island and comes up with increasingly creative ways to get into a certain Oni's pants. Author's note: This is not a rewrite of my original Naga rising story. It's more of a reimagining, as it contains many of the same characters and settings but will have a completely different plot. Be advised that the two are not related to one another. This should not be seen as any form of sequel or prequel story. So I have caught up to my backlog, and at first, I thought I could release a chapter once a week. That turned out to be unrealistic as I am writing in my spare time, so periods of inaction might not be uncommon. Some of the tags might not come into effect until later on in the story.
