tokoyami and darkshadow
so similar
yet so different
both couldn't live without one another
yet they still lived two different lives
one lived in the shadows, trying their best to succeed in the darkness
whilst the other was the shadow the other lived in, supporting comfort and power
they had spent all their lives together
they thought they both knew each other inside and out
but they were going to learn that there was much more to the discoverer
"THIS IS SOOOO COOL!" shouted a deep voice
whilst another was groaning, hovering close to the yelling figure
it had been a normal hostage situation
tokoyami and the rest of his classmates had just evacuated the civilians and were now getting the villain into a corner
"you seem to have a rare quirk, sentient it seems" slithered the villain, he had the body of a snake yet had two heads at each end
but both heads were directed at the raven head in particular
"yet it's our favourite kind," the other said
they both stared straight into tokoyami's and dark shadows eyes, hypnotising him
however, luckily that was put to a stop when both heads were covered away with a brown bag
tokoyami's form started to stumble as his body went limp
if it were not for midoriya being fast on his feet he would have plummeted to the floor, possibly cracking his beak
"tokoyami?" asui asked worriedly as she came to midoriyas side
"What did you do," shoji asked angrily, Kirishima and sero had to hold back the raging giant
but the heads simply laughed, not answering the question as they were carted away by the police
the soft snores of reassurance soon entered the room
for as much as they knew the snake villain put the raven head into a deep slumber, his body instinctively curling into a ball of comfort

they all sighed in awe and confusion
the only thing they could do now was going to their home and put tokoyami to bed, and try to find anything on bout a two-headed snake villain
what exactly did they mean "their favourite?" especially when they noted that his quirk was sentient
the whole class (excluding bird boy) had spent the entire night to try and find something, even bakugo stayed up past his 8:00 bedtime, luckily it was a weekend
but they didn't find out about anything until the next day
when they heard a scream coming from the raven heads bedroom
they all tried to prepare for what could have possibly happened to their friend
but yet the sight was
normal...
everything seemed normal
other then tokoyami and darkshadow staring at themselves in the mirror, nothing was out of place
"what are you screaming about?" bakugo asked annoyedly
only for tokoyami's voice to come out of dark shadows entity
"oh nothing really, just the clear fact that we HAVE LITERALLY SWAPPED BODIES!"darkshadow screamed sarcastically
or tokoyami screamed sarcastically
"THIS IS SOOOO COOL!" shouted the deeper voice of darkshadow, now coming out of tokoyami's beak
tokoyami merely groaned
"This is weird" kiminari stated
"Yeah, it's like they were already in the same body but yet not" midoriya started to mutter, his fingers twitching in need of his notepad, never truly seeing tokoyami in this light
only for tokoyami's body to bolt out the door
when the others caught up they found him in the kitchen stuffing all sorts of food in his throat whilst his "quirk?" tried to scold him
"stop! you're going to be sick" tokoyami said angrily
"I don't care! this might be my only chance to eat things and OH MY GOD THIS IS SO DELICIOUS" darkshadow said enthusiastically through mouthfuls

"This...is going to be a long day" Kirishima chuckled sheepishly as everyone started to anime-style sweatdrop
and true to his words it did
somehow darkshadow had been able to get rid of tokoyami's presence in his body when he was summoned once again he looks truly mortified
"I've seen things, horrible things" tokoyami rocked himself
"but didn't you just go inside yourself, like organs and-" iida began to question
before tokoyami's new shadowy body floated up to the student, looking him dead in the eye and whispered
"you don't know, you will never know"
and hagakure had instinctively begun to pat tokoyami's head when watching a movie
him backing of in confusion whilst dark shadow looked extremely jealous as he pouted through the movie
and the last main thing was the flying incident
darkshadow kept jumping in the air, forgetting that his new body could no longer float
earning some bruises and cuts on tokoyami's knee's
which then made darkshadow very distressed, never feeling pain before
and filling tokoyami's body with rage/adrenaline
causing his size to become larger and destructive
"SO THIS IS WHAT IT'S LIKE, IT'S SO EXHILARATING!" tokoyami had shouted in excitement
which soon ended when as his classmates light quirks shone brightly at tokoyami, making him shrink and dissolve back into tokoyami's body
all that new adrenaline seemed to be too much for darkshadow to manage, causing his body to give up and fall back into slumber
"This is getting old" sighed mina in exhaustion as everyone staggered back to their rooms, shoji carrying tokoyami's small form back to his room once again
but thanks to all their exhaustion all figures were able to have a peaceful sleep
the next morning was much less disastrous
but still not easy
tokoyami had woken up in agony, thanks to his quirk gobbling food up like a wild animal he was having the worst stomach ache of all time
"light will shine even in the darkest areas for you" tokoyami threatened
"even in you're stomach?" darkshadow asked smugly
only for that to be the last straw as tokoyami rushed to the bathroom
"NO PAT'S FOR A MONTH" tokoyami gurgled as he held in the vomit before he reached the bathroom

Amygdala Hijack - A Genetic Engineering Sci-Fi Novel of Impending Dystopia
A platinum-gold obelisk crash-lands on a Saskatchewan farm, warning of imminent alien invasion. Peter Scott, a science podcaster with ratings in decline, considers this a gift from heaven. He plans to reinvigorate the show's slumping popularity by interviewing a cast of edgy experts with brazen proposals to defend Earth from the anticipated invaders. But the planet has bigger issues than space marauders. That's because it's 2037, and DNA is just another programming language. Gene editing has vaulted society toward anarchy as humans rapidly hybridize, modifying their bodies with edited DNA, robotics, and computer interfaces. Add to that the constant existential threats from engineered microbes. Alien invasions, social disruptions, and pandemics are not the only concerns for Peter and team. Shadowy forces will stop at nothing to kill the podcast – or them. (episodes 1-28 of 159 in the series)
