first days at school are usually quite nerve-wracking

and for a student named fumikage tokoyami

it was no less different

if not worse

he was thrilled that he had gotten into U.A

he had wanted to be a hero ever since he was a child, like many children

he wasn't the brightest, nor the strongest

but he was determined

and having a good quirk did help

and today he would go into his very first class and his first steps to being a hero

but there was one little thing that he wasn't looking forward to

even before his quirk had developed he was born with the head of a raven bird

and being a person that did not like the fuss nor the loud outbursts, it didn't help when children called out shouting

he loathed it

but that wouldn't stop him from becoming a hero

when tokoyami first entered the gates he felt like he was being watched, but he was used to it and shook it off

the excitement inside of him was bubbling, wanting to burst out

that excitements name was dark shadow

his quirk

a demon that he could almost completely control at will, although it was harder to control at night as it grew stronger in the dark

it was a sentient being that had always been with him ever since his 4th birthday

he was like an excitable younger sibling

but he knew that he would be nothing without him

dark shadow thought this as well, that he would be nothing without "fumi"

but anyway he was soon walking to the corridor to his classroom, where the other 1-A students would be

there were many interesting characters but he didn't allow himself to stare, or else he would be making himself a hypocrite

he sat down to his seat, well the table

there was something about tables that were more comfortable than chairs

possibly the smooth wooden surface

but anyway he seemed he was not latest to arrive

which he took a small breath of relief

"hey, I saw you at the entrance exam," said a loud boy, his hair was an electrifying yellow/orange and he seemed very excited

tokoyami could understand why

but why was he talking to him

"Yeah, you had that demon thing coming out your chest, it was so cool!" he continued

tokoyami felt quite flustered, now it seemed that their conversation had brought the attention of the others

(too loud) he thought but replied to his outburst politely

"thank you, I believe I saw you as well, you have an electrifying quirk," he said

the loud boy laughed

that's when tokoyami realised that he might have accidentally made a pun

"heh, good one" he laughed

he waved goodbye and soon left him alone

soon more people crowded around him

two individuals by the names of Jiro and shoji he actually quite liked, they both had similar interests as himself

nobody had mentioned his head which was a guaranteed bonus

soon a green-haired boy joined into the classroom which took most of the others away

that was another bonus
