(This story includes slight abuse and minor manga spoilers, read on your own free will)
tokoyami had joined the league of villains
it was a decision that he made upon his own
he said they treated him like family more than his real family did
he wasn't the first hero to go, villain,
he soon found out that the number 2 hero hawks were working with villains
everyone found out
they were afraid of him
saw him in a different light
and now
they were in for another surprise
he wanted back into U.A
"and why would you want to come back here traitor?" asked Mr Aizawa, his eyes ready for an attack
"it wants to come back because I have some information you might want to know," tokoyami said lowly, his eyes showing no emotion and his voice sounded defeated
"information is useless without trust, which you broke" the teacher continued
"I am only saying that if you want to keep your students and civilians protected, then it is best to "trust" my words" tokoyami continued
his clothes were tattered and ripped and he looked like he hadn't eaten or even slept in days
all information Mr Aizawa took into consideration
there was a brief moment of silence before the teacher continued
"and what information are we talking about?"
"students we have a familiar figure that is going to be joining our class," Mr Aizawa said grimly
the students were taken by surprise when they saw the body of tokoyami fumikage walk into the room
a flood of emotions erupted inside the classroom
the shock of their "friend" being able to step one foot in the building
sadness for how he had betrayed them so
rage for him manipulating them, pretending to be their friend

and fear of why he was here
"I understand that Mr tokoyami's presence is somewhat of a shock to many of us, but I assure you that there is a reason as to why," the teacher said
many students were ready to shout at the said "traitor" before Mr Aizawa continued
"it has come to our attention that Mr tokoyami was acting as an undercover agent for us heroes when first discovering the league of villains secrets and hence wanted to learn more about our enemies"
it was obvious that more than half didn't believe this story but that was why he rolled in tv in the classroom
Mr Aizawa soon turned it on and it soon began to play
the information on this tv (which tokoyami held onto in a camera)
the teacher had not seen it himself as he wanted to watch it with his students
but what was on it was nothing more than traumatizing
the league of villains were nothing more than barbarians
the scenes which he caught were obviously hidden behind objects
tokoyami had gotten shots of the main plan that the villains were ready to bring
a giant missile that would soon turn into thousands of tiny missiles that would detect any type of hero headquarters as well as schools so that no one would be safe and hidden from a villain's eye
but within most of the scenes, in the corner of the lenses, sometimes even right bang in the middle you would see tokoyami being badly beaten up by a lizard man and a scarred flame guy
blood would sometimes splatter the screen causing a red cover
but throughout tokoyami gave out no plea for help
not even a whisper
he had been deemed "traitor" for about 4 months
to survive for this long was nothing more than a miracle

the movie was brought to a quick halt
and the classroom was silent
all faces were pale with fear
mouths hung wide open, wanting to say something but couldn't utter the words
"as we can see," Mr Aizawa said with more sympathy in his voice then the students had ever heard
"Mr tokoyami has gone through quite a lot to get this information to us" he finished
he was about to say something else before the said bird-headed boy stepped in front
"I understand that many of you don't trust me, and I cannot blame you, but I do hope that I can build up that trust and we can be acquaintances once again," tokoyami said with his head down
once he finished all students got straight out of their seats and towards tokoyami
he was hugged and cried on, asked constantly if he was ok
his expressionless face still scared them
it was true that the trust that they once had would take a while to build back up
but with everything he had gone through
he deserved a chance

Tower of Somnus
When humanity first encountered alien life, we were judged and found wanting. The Galactic Consensus interviewed our leaders and subjected us to a battery of psychological tests to determine our progress as a society. They found us to be selfish, wasteful, impulsive, and boorish neighbors. Earth was blockaded and our collective encounter with our extrasolar neighbors rapidly faded from memory. All they left behind was a hypercomm relay and a handful of subscriptions to a massively multiplayer game that participants played in their sleep. The Consensus said that it would let us interact with our neighbors in a controlled setting. That it would teach us to be better members of the galactic community. The megacorporations that controlled Earth ignored the game until they learned that the powers earned from clearing dungeons were just as real when day broke. Magic, supernatural abilities and rumors exploded from nothing and a subscription to The Tower of Somnus became a status symbol. Katherine ‘Kat’ Debs doesn’t have much, but it could be worse. Born in an arcology, she was assigned a job in the megacorporation that raised her almost as soon as she could work. Despite the stability of her corporate life, she wanted something more. A chance to claw her way up the rigid social and financial ladder to make something of herself. A chance that wouldn’t come naturally to someone as familiar with dark alleyways and the glint of steel as she was with office work and corporate niceties.Book One is up on Kindle Unlimited as of 7/6/22 - https://www.royalroad.com/amazon/B0B2X3L8H5
