it was a normal day for the students of U.A, a warm day where the students could actually relax and tend to some normal studies, all agreeing that soon as the last bell of the day rang they would have one massive movie night, all were going to bring their favourite movie and have a vote to which one they would watch
all students were in very relaxed as it was only 10 minutes until they could leave, well except one student
tokoyami had been feeling horrible for the past few days, his feathers were slick with sweat, he hadn't slept well at all, possibly only three hours a night, and hadn't been eating very well, the only thing that really kept him going was his dedication to his studies, and the constant yelling's he got from his quirk dark shadow, who wasn't affected by it at all, in fact, it seemed to be getting more powerful by the day
"come on fumi, we can get these stupid minutes out the way and we can finally have fun" dark shadow said to his host through a mental link
"I'm not sure dark shadow, I just want to sleep" tokoyami sighed internally
"But we need to! thanks to you we are almost labelled as social outcasts" dark shadow argued annoyedly
"fine" he sighed again
the bell suddenly rang making tokoyami get out his mental conversation and get back into reality
"and that will be it, no homework this weekend, just make sure you train for morning duels," Mr Aizawa said as he exited the room, the rest of class one A following behind
tokoyami sighed as he packed up his equipment and readied to leave before being halted by the voice of shoji, who was with asui, hagakure and Jiro

"Toko, you ok, seemed like you were dozing off a bit in the lesson," he said as tokoyami headed to him, his brain becoming slightly fuzzy, blocking most of what the multi-limbed boy was saying
"huh..um..yes" tokoyami tried to say as he felt for a wall to lean on slightly before his quirk appeared out of his stomach and answer for him
"yes he's fine, but we need to go so we can get ready for tonight"
dark shadow nudged tokoyami to signal it was time to go, and with that, he began walking off to his room
the three figures eyed the bird boy and his quirk suspiciously as he walked off
"somethings defiantly off," Jiro said, tapping her chin
"I think its time for some undercover work" hagakure said mischievously
meanwhile inside the gloomy room which was tokoyami's the bird-headed boy was lying on his bed completely exhausted while his quirk was trying to find their favourite movie
"you know this would go much faster if you helped," dark shadow said curtly to his host
only for him not to reply
"seriously! don't fall asleep just yet!" dark shadow yelled as he came over to tokoyami's unconscious body
dark shadow soon became quite concerned, he could see the bird boy shaking, sweat covering his pillow and clothes, his breaths very ragged
"fumi?" asked dark shadow
but what the quirk didn't expect to see was flying clothes fly past him
dark shadow screamed as he got in front of his host in a protective pose
"whoa whoa, dark shadow it's just me hagakure" hagakure said as she waved her arms in panic
dark shadow calmed down slightly before yelling/questioning "how did you get into our room!"
"I snuck in, we were worried about Toko and in a way, it's a good thing we were" she replied

both looked down to the bird-headed boy, he hadn't reacted at all to his surroundings or even their outbursts
"We need to get Aizawa," she said as she exited the room
dark shadow could merely watch her leave, wanting to stay with his host to make sure he wouldn't get worse
a few minutes later Mr Aizawa came into the scene and took the boy into his arms and into the recovery ward, telling hagakure not to alarm the others as he knew they would all try to check on him
only that didn't go well since once one of the students asked "where was tokoyami" hagakure burst and told everyone what was happening, shoji and asui bolted straight out of the room to check on their friend, everyone else following close behind, even bakugo
as everyone arrived they saw a very tired but awake tokoyami and a very stern Mr Aizawa telling something to tokoyami, hiding behind the door to snoop on what was going on again
"since your quirk is so powerful it will take up most of your power when you get sick your quirk will digest most of that reserved energy and make you vulnerable, the reason why that this hasn't happened before is that you have trained your quirk to become even more powerful and therefore needs more energy" Mr Aizawa explained to tokoyami
"what must I do then sir," tokoyami said sloppily
"at the moment I've been erasing your quirk so I can talk to you and you get your energy back," Aizawa said
tokoyami was about to shout a massive question before his homeroom teacher interrupted with
"and before you ask no, we won't need to erase your quirk, instead you will take energy pills every day to keep energy levels stable, but until you get most of your energy back now by yourself you will stay in the hospital ward" he announced
tokoyami was about to argue but he didn't have enough energy to do so
"Now I'll let you get some rest, but I think that will be impossible with all the guest outside the door"
at once all students poked their heads out from behind the door and began walking to the other two figures
"I'll be back to when you need to leave tokoyami alone," Mr Aizawa said as he left
in one massive clump, the students of 1-A began surrounding their friend, all having something to say to make the bird-headed boy feel better
a few days later tokoyami was feeling much better, dark shadow and he was sitting on their bed eating a caramel apple
"hey fumi?" asked the quirk
"yes?" tokoyami asked
"I won't ever make you do something ever again if you're not feeling very well," the dark shadow said guiltily
tokoyami merely smiled and patted his quirks head
"thank you"

The Saga of Geir Røshjert
"His name will never be sung, son. Skalds and bards like me will never tell his stories to the mass. But only us and us alone will keep telling his story, his actions, his saga. For he is the man who started all of this." This is a story no man in Lumenter will ever hear, no man except for an Arnesen, for his stories are dull and generic to the ears of the masses, except for us, because he is the very reason why our people traveled this far east, why kingdoms in Erisgi fell and rose, why I... even existed in the first place. He is Geir, son of Arne, called 'the Stranger' by the people. But what he truly is, is a fiery red heart that beats inside every Eyklandian, Arnesen, and me.
