"Ehh?? Where did they go?" A tall slender man with long spiky blond hair muttered as he searched for his belonging. "Could I have left them in the classroom or something?"
"Excuse me," the white haired girl started, catching the man's attention. "Sir Present Mic, I believe this belongs to you." She said as a pair of triangular glasses rested on her palm.
Present Mic. A pro hero who is also an English teacher of U.A. High School.
"Alright! You found them! I wondered where they went." The man grabbed the pair of glasses from the girl's hand before wearing it.
"Thanks for bringing it back to me! Yane, right? Ohh I remember you! You're the one who is fairly good at my class." He enthusiastically said. "Anyways, I bet you're starving right now. Go ahead and take a seat with your pals!"
"I thank thee, sir Mic." The girl gave a little bow before walking off to find a table. After scanning the area that was full with a sea of students, she saw her best friend waving at her. It looks like he saved a seat for her.
She got the signal and immediately went over to his table.
"Lilyyyyy..! I saved you a seat right over here." Midoriya said as his friend sat next to him. Lily recognised the two faces that were sitting with them.
The girl with auburn brown eyes and bobbed hair. She recalled her name was Ochaco Uraraka. The other one has short dark blue hair and he wears glasses. He must be Tenya Iida.
"Guys, this is Lily. Lily this is Uraraka, and this is Iida." He gestured to the two students sitting across from them. "We met at the entrance exam. I hope you don't mind that they are joining us for lunch."
"Uwah! So you're Yane! It's great to properly meet you!" Uraraka greeted with enthusiasm.
The white haired girl was silent, she doesn't know how to communicate with new people. She lowered her head, not sure how to deal with this situation.
Uraraka mistook her silence for ignorance, resulting the conversation to be awkward.
Midoriya then noticed that his friend is having a bit of trouble speaking. "A-Ah! Well as I said before, Lily is my childhood friend. She's just extremely shy. But I bet she's glad to meet you! Isn't that right, Lily-chan?" He turned to the white haired girl.
She shyly nodded in response. "I'm Tenya Iida! It's nice to properly meet you!" The blue haired boy said in a rather stiff tone.
Once again, the girl didn't speak but gave a little nod for acknowledgement.
She would like to speak normally but alas, she can't really get the words out of her mouth. Once they got into a comfortable silence, the group started eating.
"I-Itadakimasu.." Lily said in a soft voice before digging into her meal. Once the food touched her taste buds, her eyes sparkled as if she wanted more.
"This is some delicious kanin. Nom." Lily said before bringing her chopsticks to her mouth to have another bite of her food.
"Ah..so she can speak.." Uraraka and Iida thought to themselves.
"Kanin? What's that?" Midoriya asked curiously before continuing to chew. "Kanin is rice in Tagalog, Izu." She answered after gulping down a glass of water.
"Ooh, I see." Her friend understood, taking in this piece of information.
"As expected of the pro hero Lunch Rush..!" The white haired girl said, savoring the flavor. She enjoyed her food as if she has never had eaten something so delicious in her life.

"Ehh once you think about it, she's pretty cute." The brunette commented before munching on her food.
As they munched and chewed on their food, Lily noticed a small group of people sitting at a table. She recognised the people who were sitting there.
Momo Yaoyorozu, Kyoka Jiro, and Tsuyu Asui. A small group of girls in one table, easily chatting with one another. The white haired girl wondered how it was so easy for them to be social and not awkward around one another.
She silently watched them be comfortable with one another, as if they've been friends for a long time. Them being childhood friends can be a possibility, yet that doesn't stop her from being a bit envious of the small group.
Midoriya noticed that something has caught his friend's attention. He trailed the direction of girl's eyes and he saw the table with the group of girls.
After a small moment of thinking, he realized that Lily wanted to chat and befriend them. "Hey.. Lily."
Hearing her friend call her, she realized she has been staring at the group of girls this whole time. She quickly turned to the green haired boy.
"If you want, you can go sit and chat with them." He said with a smile. The white haired girl perked up, a bit embarrassed that he immediately knew what she wanted. Well, that's what best friends are for.
"I would love to join them but you do know that I don't know how to talk to people." She lowered her head, quite disappointed at herself for her lack of social skills.
"Can you at least try? I know you can do it!" The green haired boy gave a reassuring smile as he cheered her on.
"I-I don't even know what to say..!" She whimpered. "How does one even talk to girls..?"
Midoriya chuckled lightly. "Just greet them, it'll be fine."
Lily sighed in defeat. She knows that he won't give up until she actually tried. She may look a bit annoyed for now but deep inside, she's very grateful for her friend supporting her and trying to get her out of her shell.
"I-I'll go..but I have to pray first-"
"Just go!"
The white haired girl inhaled a breath of courage as she stood up with a tray that has her food placed on top of it in her hands. She slowly and quietly walked towards the table of the small group of girls.
"Midoriya." Iida called the boy, catching his attention. "I hope you don't mind me asking but.. Why is Yane so shy to the point that she could not even talk to us. We would also like to know more about her."
The green haired boy scratched the side of his cheek sheepishly before starting. "Well, I'll make it as simple as I can for now."
The two nodded as they listened to what he had to say. "Lily didn't really have many friends, she only had me and Kacchan. For now, I won't elaborate why we're the only ones close to her. But I will tell you that she really does want to make new friends, she just doesn't know how. She doesn't know how to talk to other people but when she does, it's only because he has to."
"Like when she has to order something to eat at a restaurant?" Uraraka asked.
"Yes. Please don't be afraid of her, she really is trying her best to get along with everyone. She's a really nice person and I'm just helping her get out of her shell."

The two nodded to show that they understood this new information. "I see.." Iida said, placing a finger under his chin. "I hope she succeeds at overcoming her shyness."
"I wish her the best!" Uraraka said as she pumped her fist in the air with enthusiasm.
As the three silently cheered for Lily, she looked like she was trembling as she made her way to the girls' table.
"Ah, Yane..!" Yaoyorozu was the first one to notice the white haired girl.
She stood in front of the table before speaking to greet them. "G-Greetings, mortals..."
Or at least, that was her attempt to greet them.
"No need to be so formal." Jiro said as she waved a hand.
After her weak attempt, the white haired girl tried speaking again. "I um, would me sit like here. .."
Translation: "I would like to sit here."
After processing what she said in her mind, Lily wanted to bang her head against the wall right now. 'What did I even say?! That wasn't even a sentence! This was a bad idea I should have never tried this..'
"You don't need to be so nervous, kero." Asui said.
The white haired girl lowered her head as if she has already accepted defeat and has given up. Thinking that there is no more hope for her, she started to walk back to Midoriya's table.
"Wait..!"
Yaoyorozu called out to her, making her stop in her tracks. "Would you like to sit with us?"
"Eep!" A little squeak escaped Lily's lips as she perked up to the black haired girl's suggestion. She got a bit surprised when she heard that someone actually invited her. She immediately turned around with sparkling eyes.
She quickly nodded her head as an answer. "There's some space here, you can sit beside me." Asui said as she moved a little bit to let her sit next to her.
"Woah..! You alright?" Jiro asked, seeing the white haired girl's body start to shake. It may have looked like she was shaking from nervousness, but she was actually quite excited. The thought of getting to chat and befriend new people excited her. She got so excited that her body started shaking.
Lily nodded before setting her tray on the table and sitting down. It looks like she has succeeded in her mission.
"My name is Momo Yaoyorozu." The girl with black hair that is seated across from her said. "The name's Kyoka Jiro." The girl with short dark purple hair introduced herself as she played with one of her earphone jacks hanging off of one of her ears. "I'm Tsuyu Asui, but you can call me Tsu." The girl with long green hair said.
All of the three girls introduced themselves. Now they're just waiting for the white haired girl to introduce herself.
Knowing that they are waiting for her to speak, Lily immediately felt small as she lowered her head. It only left the table in an awkward silence.
"I-I'm..Lily Yane..please take c-care of me.." she said in a soft and shy voice.
"No need to get so shy, kero." The frog girl said as she placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Ohh Yane..! You're that girl who angered Bakugo, right? Well, at least it looked like you angered him. But honestly, it was pretty funny." Jiro said, bringing up the first day of school.
"I remembered that you ranked 14 at the Quirk Apprehension Test that day, am I correct?" Yaoyorozu asked, trying to have a conversation. Lily just nodded, still being unable to speak. But deep inside, she's quite happy to finally chat and befriend new people.
"You were the number one rank, right Yaoyorozu? I was rank 13."
"Ehh.. at least you guys are higher than me. I'm 17th."
As they went on and chat with one another, Lily looked back at Midoriya's table. As she did, she saw the three of them holding a thumb up, as if praising her for succeeding at her task.
She blushed at having the thought of them watching her this whole time as if they were her worried parents. As embarrassed as she is, deep down she is extremely grateful for the support she is getting.
This gave her hope that she can actually start a new life in this school and be the person who she actually wants to be.

"I am..." a familiar strong loud voice rang through the classroom, catching all of the students' attention. "...Coming through the door like a normal person!"
"It's All Might!!"
"Wow, he really is our teacher!"
The students cheered and awed as they watch the pro hero All Might enter their classroom and walk up to the front desk.
"OHMYGOSH OHMYGOSH OHMYGOSH!! Lily-chan!!" Midoriya scrambled in his seat as he continued to let out his inner fanboy. "Yes, yes. I know, Izu. This is U.A. after all." Lily sat back as she listened to the teacher speak.
"I teach Hero Basic Training. It is a subject where you train in different ways to learn the basics of being a hero." The teacher announced, hands on his hips and his big unique smile on his face. "You'll take the most units of this subject! Let's get right into it! This is what we'll do today-- Combat training!"
"Combat.."
"..training."
"Getting straight to the point, I see.." Lily whispered to herself.
She may not be athlethic, but before classes started in U.A. she has been training with her father to be more prepared. Because of that, her body movements became faster. Which means, she can write down in her notebook, giving her the upper hand. It's a battle against time, so she has to be very quick when she has to use her Quirk.
"And to go with that are these!" All Might exclaimed as he pointed at a wall that was automatically starting to show containers of the students' costumes. "Costumes made based on your Quirk registrations and requests you sent in before school started."
The students cheered after they heard this information. This got them all excited. "After you change, gather in Ground Beta!"
"Yes, sir!"
All of the students then grabbed their costumes before heading to the changing rooms to try on their new outfits.
°•°•°•°•°•°
"That's great everyone. You all look cool!" All Might exclaimed as he took a look at all of the students wearing their hero costumes.
Each one of them had different and colorful designs, complimenting their features and personalities.
Lily's costume is quite aesthethic. It looks old-fashioned, but still very stylish. Her hero costume is comprised of a maroon blazer with golden brown lining and twin buttons over a brown button-up vest and white blouse with pleated looking neckline and a red ribbon tied around her black-lined collar.
She wears a below the knee skirt that is accompanied with a belt. She also wears knee high boots with thigh high stockings. She has extra pens, pencils, and writing tools on her belt in case she doesn't have anything to write with.
"Now shall we begin, you zygotes?"
As the white haired girl looked around she caught a glimpse of her friend Midoriya. Taking a moment to observe his costume, she noticed that it represents All Might quite a bit. The hair and the smile look quite similar to the pro hero's.
Though she wasn't exactly surprised at his choice of design. She waddled beside him to have a little conversation. "Nice outfit, Izu. Of course your costume would represent him.."
The boy got a bit startled at her presence. "Hehe. So you noticed." He scratched his head as he gave out a sheepish chuckle. "I think your costume looks cool, Lily!"
"Now, it's time for combat training!" All Might announced.
"Sensei!" A boy that's wearing pieces of armor as his costume with a helmet that's covering his entire face spoke. They recognised the boy as Iida. "Will we be conducting urban battles again?"
"No, we're going to move ahead two steps! Truly intelligent villains hide in the shadows. For this class, you'll be split into villains amd heroes and fight 2-on-2 indoor battles." As All Might explained, questions followed.
"Without basic training?"
"How will wins and loses be determined?"
"Can we beat them up anyway?"
"Will the punishment be expulsion like Mr. Aizawa?"
"How shall we be split up?"
"Isn't this cape crazy?"
"Can we die?"
Midoriya heard Lily ask the last question, making him look at his friend in disbelief. "What?" She looked back at him with an expressionless face.
"I'll answer all your questions!" All Might stated, a bit frustrated. "Now listen here." He then took out a script and once again started to explain.
"The situation is that the villains have hidden a nuclear weapon somewhere in their hideout. The heroes are trying to dispose of that. The heroes need to catch the villains or get the nuclear weapon back in the allotted time. The villains need to protect the nuclear weapon for the whole time or catch the heroes."
"The situation feels very American!" The green haired boy whispered to his friend.
"Teams and opponents will be determined by drawing lots!" Their teacher explained as he showed a box.
"They're being decided so haphazardly?" Iida asked. "Pros often have to create makeshift teams with heroes from other agencies, so maybe that's why?" Midoriya explained.
"I see. The discernment to look ahead.." the blue haired boy understood. "Please excuse my rudeness!" He bowed.
"It's fine. Let's do this quickly!" And so, the teams were chosen.
'Lily Yane and Mezo Shoji [Team B]'
"You're Yane, right?" The tall boy with grey hair covering most of his face asked as he approached his teammate. The girl nodded her head as she looked up at him just to make eye contact. "Welp, I guess we're partners."
'OH DEAR THIS WILL BE A PROBLEM..! I HAVE TO SPEAK PROPERLY OR ELSE--' Lily thought to herself but still kept a composed look.
After everyone got to their assigned partners, All Might inserted both of his hands into two boxes. One black box that is named Villain and a white box that is named Hero. "The first teams to fight will be..."
"...these guys!" He then plucked out two balls from both boxes. "Team A will be the heroes, and Team D will be the villains."
"All four of them..huh.." Lily whispered. She already knows that this isn't exactly going to be pretty.
"Everyone else, head toward the monitor room."
"Yes sir!"
Everyone except the four that were mentioned headed to the monitor room. Before leaving, the white haired girl placed a hand on Midoriya's shoulder to reassure him. "I know you'll do fine, Izu."
"Thanks Lily-chan." The boy grinned.
Of course, even though they don't exactly see eye to eye, she went over to her other childhood friend.
"Don't go too crazy now, Kacchan." The girl said with her hands at her back. "Shut up. You look like a librarian."
"I mean- librarians tell you to shut up so--"
"Ugh, you always think you're smarter than everyone!"
"It's because I'm surrounded by idiots." Lily replied with a monotone voice, which only angered the boy even more.
"I'll be taking my leave now. Good luck." She said as she began to walk away. "I don't need your stupid luck!" The angry blond yelled.
This battle is going to be interesting. Lily used to stand up to Bakugo to save Midoriya in certain times. But now, she's not with him. He can now fight with his own strength and learn as he trains.

8 156The Fate of The Summoned (being ReWritten)
The Fate of The Summoned In the world of Aethion things are vastly different than on Earth. There is Magic and Monsters, as well as Demons and Dragons. Throughout the history of the world there have been many wars, both between all the various nations and kingdoms and between those nations and kingdoms and the Demonic forces lead by a Demon King or Lord. There are times that the Demons gain so much more power than the other nations, or that the others are embroiled in a war against each other and the lone nation is targeted by the demons. It was during these occasions that the various Gods and Goddesses started giving two things to the races. The First of these things were the Blessings, magical blessings given to the worth for chosen things. The Second of these things were the Summoning rituals, magic rituals that could summon beings from somewhere else, that would be Chosen, by the gods. These beings have almost always come from our world, Earth. It has been centuries since this practice began and the countries of the world have almost always flourished for a time after a Chosen or group of them were Summoned. All of the countries treat the Summoned well, almost like kings or princes in their own right. Well, not all countries, there are some that have treated them almost like slaves, though those countries don’t usually last long. There is one though, that has lasted, for a long time due to their connection to their Patron Deity, the Goddess of Light. They only accept certain types of Summoned and they dote on certain members of the country more than others. Several years ago they performed a summoning, as they were being plagued by overflow from the dungeons. Now they, like the other countries of Aethion, have performed the ritual to fight against the current Demon King, who is said to possess a Blessing. This is a story about Fate, and those that fight against it and those who accept it. In this story the main character(s) do not fight their fate, like those in my other story, rather they embrace it and let it shape them, though that does not mean they are total slaves to it. While there will be similarities to most other Hero sumoning novels, i hope the Mcs abilities and such will make it unique.
