《Forbidden Gardens| Tokoyami x Reader book》Chapter 6: First Date

(Y/N) POV
After Fumikage showed me around the house, he led me back up to his room where we sat on his bed together, his hand holding mine. I loved this sensation, his hand warming mine up, so soft and relaxing. I sighed and rested my head on his shoulder. I felt him chuckle while he brought a hand to my head, running the fingers through my hair. I smiled and looked up at him to see him staring back at me.
"We should go on a date today" He said calmly, wrapping all of his arms around my waist and nuzzling his beak into my neck. I blushed a bit, hugging his neck "T-That sounds nice but.." I bopped my leg nervously "..I don't know how" He looked at me, pulling away from my neck and at my eyes "You've never been on a date?" He asked, his crimson eyes flashed with excitement and confusion.
I nodded my head shyly, he immediately lifted me and himself up, taking my hand and grabbing his wallet, putting it in his pocket. "We're gonna go right now!" He said, not in a demanding way but a cute and excited way. I smiled, he looked at me and walked closer "And.. you don't have to do anything, just be yourself. It's what I like most about you~" he lifts my chin up with his hand and kisses me softly for a moment.
I close my eyes right as he pulls away. My red face is a clear sign of my embarrassment as I pull away. "What's your favourite store?" He asked, smiling brightly. "I've never really had a favour for stores.. I could never afford to go shopping.." I scratched my neck with one finger. He grabs my hand and leads me down stairs. "I have the perfect idea for a date" he said while leading me out of the door and holding my jacket for me so I could slip my arms in. I smiled politely at him as he closes the door behind me.
The cold air brushes my cheeks, making me shiver a bit from the touch. Tokoyami saw this and put out his hands on my cheeks, warming them up. I sighed and leaned closer to his touch, loving the heat that surged. Tokoyamis hand shivered slightly, making me look up at him. His feathers had fluffled out and his lower neck was a little red. I smiled as we continued to walk. Since it was just now going to spring, the weather was a bit chilly but not too much to the point where I was literally shivering from the cold.

Tokoyami led me down the street, holding my hand and making small conversation. "So uh... Mind if I ask what you like about me?" He said to me, chuckling a bit. I blushed, looking away and balling my fist "W-Well.. I think what first started the interest was your feathers. B-But then I g-got to know you more a-and I.. Fell.. For you.." I whispered the last part. I loved Tokoyami for who he was, I loved his stoic figure that turns into a literal cinnamon roll around his close friends. I loved his heroic personality and caring tone in his voice. It was immersive.
Tokoyami nodded blushing a bit and biting the inside of his mouth. "W-Well what about you? Why do y-you like me?" I asked with a blush on my face. "T-Thats.. A long story.." He said, turning away. "Come on Fumi! I told you mine, you need to tell me yours!" He blushed and looked down at me, squeezing my hand "I-I like how you acted towards me.. Treating me like a person instead of a freak. You make me feel so warm inside.. So happy that I just fell for you. Everything you do makes me smile and grows my addiction to you.. You're just so.. Perfect." He stampered, making me stand wide eyes.
I never knew I would be this big of a deal to anyone. My parents never cared.. But this guy.. Tokoyami Fumikage.. He special and I love him so much.. Tokoyami looked down at me "A-are you alright?" He asked, making me retreat from my thoughts of him. "Yeah j-just thinking!" I said and shaking it off. Inside of my head, butterflies wiggled and inner screams and squeals happened, causing my face to go dark red and for me to smile awkwardly.
He chuckles slightly, brushing one of his hands fingers through my hair before stopping in front of a petite building. It was adorably decorated with the words 'Coaster Coffee' painted on the front (where I live, coaster coffee is a small cafe that has amazing food) "We're here, (Y/N)" He smiled. I gripped his hand tighter "It looks so cute.. What is it?" I asked, tilting my head to the left slightly, towards him. "It's a cafe I come to often.. And I get discounts." He pulled my hand as we walked inside.
(What it looks like)
The jingle of the door bell rang through my ears as I skimmed the place, it felt so warm and homey in here. It was very intoxicating. The smell of fresh baked pastries and ground coffee flooded my nose an the delightful feeling of the warm embrace the cafe had to offer, it was so enduring. I had been so enticed by the cafe itself that I didn't notice two familiar figures standing at the cashier and behind it.

Tokoyami and I approached the counter, as he waved to them. There I saw Mezo and Ojiro! Ojiro being at the cash register and Mezo preparing people's orders with the work of his multiple hands. Ojiro's eyes lit up when he looks over at us. "What's up guys! Going on a date?" Ojiro said, wagging his tail slightly. I blushed and Tokoyami held my hand tighter. "We are actually, do your job, Ojiro" He said, sighing. Ojiro nodded.
"Right, I can take your order if you're ready" He said with a kind but sinister smile following his greeting words. Tokoyami and I ordered, he ordered black coffee and a banana nut muffin and I ordered (favourite drink and cafe food). Shouji greeted us whilst he was preparing our order. We sat at the seat on the way right of the last picture, sitting next to each other. Tokoyami and I talked for a while while waiting for our food.
"Have you ever dated anyone before, (Y/N)?" He asked me in a gentle voice, I stuttered a bit, then responded sort of sadly "No.. This is my first relationship.." He smiled at me, which threw me off guard "Neither have I, we'll figure this out together though, alright?" He gave my hand a reassuring squeeze before nuzzling his beak against my cheek, as sort of a cheek kiss. I nodded and our food came.
"There you go, lovebirds, Don't get her pregnant Fumikage" Shouji said, winking and getting back to work. I blushed heavily, thinking about the other day where he.. You know.. Tokoyami seemed to be thinking the same way as I saw him twitch slightly, before taking a sip of his coffee. He seemed to be grossed out by the taste, but kept drinking it. I questioned him "Does it not taste good?" I asked "N-No I just.. It's bitter" He sighed. I giggled "You did order black coffee" He looked away, his brows furrowed. "I only drink black coffee, it suits my demeanor." He huffed.
I elbowed him "Wooow so edgyyy. Look at me!! My quirk is Dark Shadow so I must only shop at hot topic and wear black oooOoOoooOoOo" I made fun of him a bit, trying to copy his low and husky voice. He bit his lip and yanked me towards him. "Stop that... now.. Or else" He growled. " Or else what?" I smirked childishly "I'll have to kiss you to keep you quiet" He whispered. I squeaked and he laughed. "That's what I thought." He said before adding 6 sugar cubes to his coffee. I took a sip of my drink before biting into my food. He didn't the same to his banana muffin.
The date continued with food and small talk, we paid and tipped before leaving the cafe and returning home, well, not our home yet. Hopefully in the future. I yawned and slipped off my shoes, following him up to his room. "Is it okay if I borrow your shirt, Fumi?" I asked him. He threw one of his MCR t-shirts in my direction. It was a little big, but I went into the bathroom and stripped off my clothes, taking off my bra and replacing his shirt with it. No pants on, just my (f/c) panties.
I walked back to his room and sat next to him on his bed. He look stunned at me, before pulling me close to him and kissing me. I happily kissed back, closing my eyes and wrapping my arms around his neck. He grunted and pulled away. He whispered softly into my ear "you look so hot in my shirt.." He took my wrists in his hands and pinned me down on his bed, his knee pressed between my legs and his hot breath on my neck "I wanna make this night special for you and I, babygirl.. But I must ask" He kissed my neck a bit "Will you let me have you tonight my dear?" I blushed, wiggling beneath him and feeling flustered.
"I'm yours.. Fumi" He grinned devilishly, speaking to me in that deep, sexy voice of his "You'll never forget what's going to happen baby~"

Tales from the Triverse
Tales from the Triverse is part detective drama, part fantasy adventure and part space opera. I’m influenced by the likes of Iain M Banks, Isaac Asimov and ND Stevenson and work including The Wire and Gotham Central. It begins with an incident two hundred years ago which crashed three parallel universes together. Portals open up in 18th century London, sending England down a very different path. We pick up events in the 1970s, with the Metropolitan Police having established a new department to handle portal-related criminal activity. The story is about intolerance, immigration, multiculturalism and power. It’s about what happens when incompatible viewpoints are weaponised to seed discontent, and the efforts of some to create a fairer world. In the tradition of the best science fiction, fantasy and crime fiction, I’m using the setting to examine themes that matter to me in the real world. Who is it for?If you like science fiction or fantasy, or a mix of both, this is for you. It’s my first foray into crime fiction, but I hope if you’re a fan that you’ll enjoy yourself - especially if you’re looking for something a bit different. I write fiction that is optimistic, progressive and empathetic. Bad things can happen to good people in the stories, but the overall arc tends to be hopeful. Note that if it were a movie, Tales from the Triverse would be a 15 certificate in the UK.

Soul Core Online
Soul Core Online was a game that few people were interested in until after it was released, due to its odd way of handling character growth but this soon changed as people started to realise just how different this game was. Unlike many of its predecessors the NPCs in Soul Core Online acted in a way that was indistinguishable from real people and the world felt alive because of this instead of the empty and sterile cities we had come to expect, even walking down the street could give you insights to how these people lived. In my case this was the world that I had always wanted to visit and I soon found myself embroiled in the constantly changing world that is Soul Core Online.
