𝐅𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐔𝐓𝐄𝐒 and the clock was ticking. The wedding was on its way and as soon as the countdown changed to a one-digit number, the tension in the air was growing by the second faster than you could imagine. Well, maybe not everyone was so tense about it. But the soon-to-be-married couple was sure as hell. And Y/n too, obviously.

"Okay, and it's done!" Y/n backed away from Sloane after zipping up her dress on her back. Sloane nervously turned around, the dress slimly fitting her and highlighting every curve, as the girl smiled. "Oh, you look beautiful!"

The bride anxiously chuckled, looking down and making sure she didn't leave any pins stuck onto the dress. "Thanks, Y/n. But is it normal that I feel so..."

Sloane struggled to find the right word, so the girl helped her. "Unsure and nervous about doing this?" The bride nodded. "I know that feeling, but I can assure you that as soon as you say 'I do' at the altar to Luther," Y/n took the flower bouquet from a table next to her and walked over to Sloane in her heels, clinking on the ground. "All those worries will fade away."

The flower bouquet the two had made from the last flowers they could find in this hotel was small, but Sloane loved that it gave a minimalistic look when she took it. "Thank you, truly. I don't know what I would be doing without you, Y/n."

"You'll thank me later." Y/n quickly brushed it off. "Now, let's get you married. I'll see you at the banquet hall soon."

After not walking in heels for quite some time, it was hard for Y/n to even make her way to the elevator. She struggled to walk across the hallway in the beginning but somehow managed to make it, even if she might have sprained her ankle in the process.

She pressed the buttons for the very last floor of the hotel and patiently waited to get down, even though she was bursting out with excitement. And when the doors opened, it was a true sight.

Everyone was already there, all dressed up and ready, waiting for the two women, and the hall was prepped just for them. The tables had white sheets, disco lights were shining in the distance and a whole lot of food was everywhere, an entire buffet was at their service. For a last-minute wedding at the end of the world, this was much better than anyone could imagine.

As soon as the elevator doors opened, everyone turned their looks, ready for the bride, but instead saw Y/n. "Relax, Sloane's coming." She joked when she saw their faces.

Even though everyone had surprised reactions, Five was the only one who couldn't take his eyes off Y/n of surprisement. To him, she looked like a goddess. Her dress gracefully highlighted her hips, bringing out her figure, as she walked over to him and his stunned expression.

"What?" She chuckled, seeing that he wasn't blinking.

"Nothing." He broke out of his gaze. "It's just, uh, you look amazing. Beautiful even. I-I just, you know, I can't stop-"

Y/n cut him off by pulling him by his collar into a kiss. "Thanks."

But the bell dinged and the elevator doors opened once again to finally reveal Sloane in her white wedding dress. Everyone let out gasps of amazement as soon as they laid eyes on her.

Until Ben ruined it. "Let's get this over with before I die of cringe."

"𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐘 𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐃," Klaus began his speech as they gathered outside in the courtyard. "We're gathered here today for a good time, not a long time, so let's have a good time, huh? 'Cause the sun can't shine every day. Can I get an amen?"

Everyone cheered at his words and said those distant amens. Clearly, Klaus was the perfect choice for their officiator, no one could have done his job better. As Viktor stood at Luther's side, Y/n happily stood on Sloane's, holding her flowers and smiling, making Five not take his eyes off her.

He was mesmerized by her, practically being hypnotized, but Y/n herself didn't look at him as much as he did. Instead, she completed her duties as the maid of honor and had the biggest smile of them all.

The sky was falling above them, and buildings were demolished, only the hotel was in one shape, but they chose to ignore everything and cherish these beautiful moments, even if they had very little time left.

"Luther, do you be taking this banging hottie to be your lady?" Klaus proudly showed at Sloane.

"I do." Luther smiled at her.

"Sloane, do you promise to love and cherish this big hairy bastard," Klaus playfully punched Luther in the arm. "For the next 24 to 48 hours?"

"Give or take a day." Five corrected him, getting shushed by Klaus and an eye roll by Y/n.

"I'm gonna try." Sloane softly chuckled.

"Well, then..." Klaus couldn't keep his tears anymore. "...I'm sorry. I pronounce you married as shit! Viva la apocalypse!"

Everyone cheered and clapped as the couple passionately kissed each other, earning a playful yell from Diego and a somewhat genuine smile from Allison. If only they could have stayed in that happy moment forever...

"𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑 𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐒 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐔𝐒?" Five playfully reminded Y/n as everyone gathered around on the dance floor, watching Luther and Sloane dance together as husband and wife for the first time. "You were just as happy."

Y/n smiled at him. "Yeah, these two weddings are practically the same."

"How?" Five furrowed his eyebrows.

"They're both happening at the end of the world." Y/n chuckled. "Only ours happened after that, but the setting remains the same."

The couple turned to the newlyweds with smiles as Y/n softly put her head on Five's shoulder. "At first, I really hated them together." She whispered to him. "But now they just look so happy, it's hard to stay mad."

Five smiled at her. "Yeah, but this is still worse than the apocalypse."

Y/n punched him in the arm. "Stop it. Let them have their moment, they deserve it."

"Well, then," Five walked in front of her and lent his arm out, bending down a bit. "Shall we have our moment by you dancing with me?"

The girl nodded and took his hand. "Of course."

As Diego and Lila danced together, Five pulled Y/n closer to him. She put one of her hands on his back and interlocked her fingers with his other while he kept his hand on her waist tightly and reassuringly. The pair slowly swayed with the music, looking deep into each other's eyes, just as Y/n and Lila locked eyes with each other.

"Did you talk to Lila?" He noticed their shared looks. "I really hope you did."

"Well, you did ruin our moment back at the academy." Y/n sighed. "But it was fun to have one, even if it was short."

As Y/n followed their dance moves, Five moved in closer to her. "I love you."

"You already said that." Y/n chuckled. "That's suspicious."

"It shouldn't be." Five shook his head. "I only want you to know how much I do love you."

Y/n put her lips against his for a small kiss. "I already do."

𝐀𝐒 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐁𝐄𝐆𝐀𝐍 𝐓𝐎 𝐒𝐈𝐓 𝐃𝐎𝐖𝐍 𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐈𝐑 𝐓𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐄𝐒 and enjoy the meal, Y/n noticed Allison having her drink at the table by herself. "Hey, uh, you go sit down and I'll join you, okay?" She quickly whispered to Five, not even giving him a second to reply.

She swiftly walked over to Allison's table and sat down next to her. "Hey there, having a great time?"

Allison scoffed and looked away. "A blast."

It was clear that Allison didn't want to talk to someone too much, so Y/n wanted to make this as quick as possible. "So listen, I know this isn't my place to be saying anything, but-"

"Then why are you trying to?" Allison immediately cut her off in a cold tone.

Y/n stared at her for a second. "Because I cannot die knowing that two of my siblings went to sleep while being in a huge blood fight. You know this isn't how you're supposed to end things."

"Yeah, you're one to talk." Allison sarcastically remarked. "You divorced your husband because of some lies, but ended up with him again like a true whore. You seem to never learn from your own mistakes, Y/n."

That felt like a slap to the face for Y/n. After hearing such an insult from Allison, who seemed to have no problem saying that to her face, she decided to leave her alone. "I hope you have a good rest of your evening, Allison."

Without looking back, she walked over to Five who had just talked to Klaus, trying to brush those thoughts away. "Hey," She looked at him who was now talking with Diego and Lila, and sat down next to the boy. "What were you and Klaus talking about?"

"Uh..." Five was about to answer her until the elevator doors opened and Reginald walked inside the hall. Everyone held their breath as Dad walked past their tables and they followed his steps.

Hargreeves wandered around out of place, hearing those disgruntled whispers between his children before he put some food into a plate and sat down at a table all by himself.

"Oh, it's making me sad." Y/n whispered to Five.

"Probably the pregnancy hormones." Five said to her as a joke, earning a very clear death glare from her. "I'm kidding. How can you feel sad for him?"

"I don't know, he doesn't deserve this." Y/n looked down at the table. "Neither of us really do."

Five knew what she was referring to. "I know."

Their original plan was to ignore their fate and act as if the world wasn't ending. But you don't know how hard it is to bury your thoughts away for the sake of others and yourself until you've gone through that terrible pain.

"I'm gonna go outside." Y/n cleared her throat and stood up from the table. "Be right back." Five followed her steps with his look until she was completely gone, contemplating if he should have stopped her.

Y/n walked back into the courtyard where the ceremony took place. She walked down the aisle, trying to imagine everyone in their seats just an hour ago before she took step by step over to the last row of seats.

Sitting in there, she felt so peaceful. Even if the world was collapsing and the sky was dark red, it was still a nice moment - a moment she could have all to herself. The faint talking was still heard from the hall by her, but she chose to ignore it.

As she closed her eyes and let the cold breeze come upon her, faint footsteps caught her attention. She looked over and saw that it was none other than Ben.

The two locked eyes with each other as Ben walked over to Y/n. "Why aren't you inside?" He stood by the end of the last row of seats.

Y/n looked down at the ground. "Just...couldn't be there with the thought of knowing that this will end."

Ben showed her a sympathetic look and walked over to her, sitting down one chair away from her. "I'm sorry."

The girl turned to her left and saw Ben facing down and fiddling with his fingers. "For what?"

"For being a jerk to you and your family." Ben looked up. "Figured that this might be the best chance I'd get to apologize."

Y/n smiled, turning her body to face him, and put one of her legs up on the chair. "I forgive you."

Ben furrowed his eyebrows and shook his head seeing her calm look. "Yeah, right. You're probably gonna get back at me with some other shit, you just want to trick me."

"Why would I want to do that when I have hours left to live?" Y/n asked him. "I have better things to do than make fun of your ass, Ben. The entire world doesn't revolve around you."

"So, you actually forgive me?" He waited for the official approval from her.

Y/n furrowed her eyebrows. "Do you not want me to forgive you? 'Cause I can stay mad if that's better for you."

"No, no!" Ben jumped right in. "I just didn't know because I require a true and real response, how the hell am I-"

"Relax, that was a joke." Y/n cut him off.

Ben stopped ranting and looked away. "Oh. Sorry."

"I forgive you."

"For what: the acting like an asshole or the ranting?"

The pair chuckled at his joke. For the first time, Ben was being genuine and he was saying actual jokes.

"Both." Y/n nodded. "I decided that I can't die being mad at someone, that includes you as well."

"Why?" Ben curiously asked.

Y/n smiled at him. "Because we're family."

"𝐇𝐄𝐘 𝐆𝐔𝐘𝐒." Luther greeted everyone as he and Sloane walked out into the courtyard where everyone already was. They were beyond tired after a good couple of hours of dancing, singing, and, of course, drinking. At least for Five, Ben and Klaus.

Five sat next to Y/n on the rocks, even if he was drunk as hell, he still managed to keep her laying her head on his shoulder and caressing her hair. "It's weird. I never thought we would be here." Y/n smiled as she kept looking at the sky.

The boy looked at her daydream look. "What? Dying? Yeah, I thought we'd live forever too."

"No." Y/n chuckled. "Well, yes, but no. I meant, here. With everyone."

The couple turned their heads and saw their family sitting together happily without a care in the world. The joy was visible on their faces, judging by their genuine smiles.

"Yeah," Five heavily sighed. "But at least we're happy. Are you happy?"

Y/n lifted her head off his shoulder and smiled. "Never been happier."

But as soon as Klaus walked over to everyone with Ben with their bottles, everyone started booing and letting out disgruntled phrases.

"Klaus, why are you bringing Ben here?" Five laughed with Y/n still in his hands.

"Hear me out!" Klaus managed to make everyone go silent. "The brother that you all knew as Ben is gone. And not-I don't mean our Ben, the nice Ben. I mean, this Ben." He pointed at Ben, who he had wrapped around his hand and drinking a bottle of vodka. "The asshole, he's gone now."

"Klaus, what are you talking about?" Luther asked.

"And the man that stands in front of you is new new Ben, and he's one of us, and he's a member of the team." Klaus kept talking in a dramatic tone. "And he's part of the family!" The two said in unison.

"And as a welcome gift, I suggest we throw him off the roof." Five suggested, earning a chest slap from Y/n.

"Yeah, I'll help." Diego pinched in.

"You know what? You know what?" Luther also slurred his words. "He can stay."

Diego looked at the two drunk skunks and Luther. "Why?"

"'Cause, it's my wedding day, man." Luther said as he interlocked his hands with Sloane. "Come on. He can stay."

Ben and Klaus drunkenly stumbled over to everyone else and sat down with their bottles. "Whoa, holy smokes." Klaus looked up at the sky along with his siblings.

The red smoke gave it a look that the sky wasn't even there. It was a glimpse of their end, a visual look of where all of their hard-word led them.

"Hey, you know something?" Luther chuckled. "Tonight is all I ever really wanted."

"To get hitched?" Diego asked.

Luther shook his head. "Just everybody coming together when it really matters. One big real family." He gently kissed his wife's hand.

As Y/n happily watched them on, Five barely stood up, stumbling around before he almost collapsed. "Okay, yeah, you're done here." She sighed, standing up and walking over to him.

"No, no, Y/n, no..." Five fell right into her arms as everyone let out a couple of "Awws".

"You two are gonna be okay?" Viktor asked her.

"Yeah," Y/n nodded, readjusting Five in her hands. "But I think we should call it a night. Thanks for everything, guys."

The couple walked back to the hall and to the elevator as Five hardly managed to keep himself on his feet. "Y/n, let's dance, come on..."

The elevator doors opened and Y/n began dragging Five inside. "No, no, Five, we have to get to bed." She clicked the right buttons and the two began going up.

"Hey, I want some food, can I go get some?" He slurred his words. "Or do I need your permission?"

The girl chuckled. "Sure, do what you wanna do." Before he walked out of the elevator and back to the buffet. "Be safe!" Before walking going up the elevator to her room.

She quietly opened her door, in case someone was asleep, and saw Allison in bed fully awake. After their last conversation, she didn't want to see her at all.

"Y/n." Allison sat up in her bed and looked at the girl, who was avoiding eye contact with her. "Can we talk?"

"What's there to talk about?" Y/n sarcastically chuckled, putting the room key on the table. "I think you already said everything you wanted to say."

Allison faced the ground and stood up from her bed. "I'm sorry, Y/n. I trully am. I don't know what came over me that I insulted you so bad, you didn't deserve it."

Y/n was skeptical of Allison's apology, there was something that happened that made her want to make things right out of utter nowhere. Just hours ago, she was insulting everyone. But because it seemed that Allison came to her senses, Y/n chose to believe her.

"Thanks, Allison." She smiled. "But if you're looking for people to apologize for, Viktor should be the first one."

"I know, I know." Allison quickly ranted. "I just wanted to make things right with you, you're my only sister after all. I wouldn't want all of this to end like that."

The girl walked over to Allison before the two embraced in a hug. "Me too, Allison. Me too..."
