𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄. The answer on the pregnancy test stick showed a positive answer - a plus sign.
Y/n's shuttering breaths turned into cries and laughs of joy as she covered her mouth with her hand. She kept looking at the test in her hand which was trembling and could barely contain herself from showing her happiness even louder.
Back in the apocalypse, the couple wanted to have kids more than anything in the world. But knowing how hard it may be for their child to grow up in such a place, they decided on being by themselves and not creating a family.
And it wasn't just Y/n who wanted to be a mother - Five wanted to be a father as well. But because of their tragic circumstances, they had to let go of their long-time wish.
Soon, tears of joy started running down her cheeks. Sitting in the bathroom with such great news - she wanted to stay in this moment forever. That was until Allison almost broke the door by coming inside the hotel room.
As soon as Y/n heard that, she wiped away her tears, put the pregnancy test back inside the trashcan with the box, and rushed over to Allison, who was drunk as hell.
"Oh my God, Allison," Y/n helped her sister stand up from the ground. "What happened to you? How much could you have possibly drunk?"
She could see the bruised knuckles, the cut lip, and more, indicating that she not only drank her problems away but also got into a pretty gnarly fight.
"Y/n!" Allison raised her voice. "How good to see you, my favorite sister!"
"Calm down," Y/n began taking Allison to her bed. "People are sleeping behind the wall."
"I do not care." She slurred her words. "I only care about saving the world!"
The girl flopped Allison right on her bed, who was laughing maniacally like a teenager who got drunk for the first time and began taking off her clothes.
"Did you and Diego do this?" Y/n asked, taking the shoes and throwing them.
"Ooh, yes! And we had a pretty good time." Allison chuckled.
Y/n began covering her with bedsheets and fixing her pillow. "Yeah, that's obvious."
Allison began drifting away to sleep with a couple of chuckles and laughs until, not only she, but also Y/n were fast asleep.

"𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓'𝐒 𝐆𝐎𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐍?"Allison asked Diego, Luther, and Viktor who were all huddled around.
"Oh my God. He got you too?" Luther's eyes went wide when he saw Allison's bruised lip.
"You okay?" Y/n asked Viktor pointing at his scar on the cheek.
"Great. You two?" Viktor sarcastically answered.
"Never better." Allison replied.
The siblings all stayed silent for a moment there, giving each other glances and looks, before a portal opened and Five along with Lila fell landing right on top of a desk and breaking it to pieces.
The siblings all gasped and backed away, looking over at the two. Especially Y/n and Diego who saw their lovers after some time.
"Where the hell have you been?" Y/n asked with a very visible annoyance in her voice.
"Facing my mortality, Y/n." Five answered her as he stood up from the rubble and Diego walked over to Lila. "I don't recommend it."
"You had the briefcase?" Allison yelled. "We've been looking for this!" She ran over to it and began opening it.

"Well, look no further. That's the last one on Earth." Five told her just as the two saw the smoke coming out of him. "Or was the last one."
Allison scoffed at this and threw the briefcase to the ground, walking over to the stairs and sitting down.
"Are you okay?" Y/n ran over to Five and began inspecting him for wounds.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Five was barely able to crack a smile before Y/n slapped his face. "Ow, what the hell?" He yelled.
"Well, now you won't be fine." She pointed at him. "You disappeared without a trace, leaving us to fend for ourselves with the Sparrows. Do you even know the shit we had to go through?"
Five could see that he upset Y/n. "I'm sorry, okay? I really am, but now we don't have time-"
"We don't have time for this?" Y/n finished his sentence with a scoff. "We never do." She left Five alone to himself and walked over to Allison herself. "Hey, you okay?" She sat down next to her on the stairs.
Allison put her head down and sighed. "I'm so sick of this."
Y/n could feel the anger within her voice, so she let her keep to herself.
"I'm calling a family meeting." Five announced.
"Spit it out, Five." Allison said through gritted teeth.
"Oh, well, since you asked so nicely, sister mine, our little paradox brought forth the freaking Kugelblitz." Five told her with his smile vanishing very quickly.
"What the hell is a Kugelblitz?" Viktor asked as Allison rolled her eyes.
Y/n stood up from the stairs and sighed. "The shittiest of it all."
Five rolled his eyes and began walking away. "Let's discuss this over some drinks."
As the rest of the siblings followed Five over to the bar, Y/n was about to do the same, until she saw Lila standing in her place with a warm smile. "Hello there, dear sister of mine." Lila chuckled.
Y/n scoffed at that and walked over to her. "How am I such a dear sister if you haven't even come to me once, huh?"
"Oh, well, I was just busy saving the world with your lover." Lila pointed over at Five. "Usually, you would be in my place, so why weren't you here now? Did he ditch you?"
"I decided your life deserved some purpose, you know?" Y/n tilted her head. "Besides, I had better things to do here than follow his ass."
"You got tired of being in his shadow all the time?" Lila pretended to be sad. "Aww, don't be."
"Aren't you supposed to be raising your child with your baby daddy?" Y/n scoffed. "Stop being a hypocrite, you're not that good either."
She walked away from Lila, crossing her hands on her chest, and reached the bar where her siblings were. She took a seat next to Allison at the same time that Lila sat down next to her.
"So, this Kugelblitz, it's...?" Viktor tried getting answers from Five who was standing behind the counter and giving everyone drinks like a true barman.
"The end of everything." He said, giving Lila and Y/n their drinks. "Every rock, every star, every atom sucked into a radiant black hole."
But neither Y/n, nor Lila touched their drinks. "Randomly collapsing matter every moment in time across all existence till nothing's left." Lila explained.
When you don't drink, you notice other people also not drinking. That was the case with Y/n when she noticed Lila's sober choice.

"Hate to say I told you so, but..." Five rolled his eyes.
"You love to say I told you so." Viktor quickly corrected him.
Both Viktor and Five took their shots, the only difference was that Five began chugging down an entire bottle of vodka. "You know, it's impressive." Lila began. "Whoever knocked off your mums hated you all enough to end the entire universe."
"We don't know that." Viktor quickly shook his head.
"It doesn't matter who created the damn thing." Allison took her shot. "We just have to kick its ass."
"Oh, really?" Luther spoke up. "How? Are you and Diego gonna punch it in the Kugel?"
"The best plan is to go back in time and eliminate the paradox and destroy whatever it was that took out our mothers and stop the Kugelblitz before it starts, but we can't do that. Briefcase is kaput." Five ranted.
"Well, is there anything that we can do?" Y/n asked.
"And why the hell can't you just jump us out of here?" Allison stupidly suggested.
"Last time I tried that, we all got trapped in time." Five reminded her. "Do you really wanna risk that again?"
That made Allison shut up and think about it. "So, what's plan B?" Viktor asked making Five shake his head. Until Diego, Klaus and Stanley came marching back to the bar.
"What happened to you?" Five asked Klaus when he went around the counter and took his drink.
"Oh, just a speargun to the chest." He pointed at his bloody shirt. "No big deal."
"What did we miss?" Diego came over to Lila.
She smiled at him and looked over at everyone. "The universe is ending, and we're all going to die."
And it really proved to be correct when an energy wave rocked their bar back and forth, making some things and some people disappear.
"What the hell was that?" Diego looked around.
"That was a Kugel wave." Five explained. "Oh, it's getting worse."
"How long do we have?" Luther asked.
"At this rate of escalation, if you factor in-" Five murmured something.
"How long, Five?" Luther yelled at him.
That snapped Five back into reality. "Four, maybe five days before the rest of existence is blitzed."
Everyone went silent. "We can't do this ourselves." Y/n spoke up. "We need the help of the Sparrows, this is much bigger than us."
"No, we don't." Diego was quick to argue. "We can handle this ourselves-"
"This isn't about your big ego, Diego." Y/n cut him off. "It's about saving the damn world. And if working together with the Sparrows is what saves it, then we don't have any choice."
"We should've given them Harlan." Luther said.
"Luther..." Viktor barely whispered.
"What about Harlan?" Diego asked.
Luther turned to him. "The Sparrows said if we turned him over, we could end the fighting, and then work together to save the world. But if we didn't-"
"But we tried to make piece." Viktor cut Luther off. "And then the step-siblings from hell attacked, kidnapped you and they tried to kill us. I mean, come on. We can't trust them. Working together would be like trying to defuse a bomb by pouring gas on it. It's only going to make things burn down faster."
"Let me ask you this way, Viktor." Y/n spoke up. "Would you rather save the world with the help of our step-siblings or do absolutely nothing and let the world burn away?"
Before Viktor could answer her, Klaus asked. "But don't we need the big bad glow-y thing in their basement?"
Everyone went silent again.
"Klaus, do you know where the Kugelblitz is?" Five tilted his head.
"Oh, yeah, I saw it." He dramatically gasped. "When I went to visit Dad. It's in the old storage room where Mom used to keep all her luggage."
"Why didn't you tell anyone?" Diego raised his voice.
"I did. I told you!"
"You say stupid shit all the time!"
"Of course. It appeared in the same place we did." Five sighed.
"Then this might be much easier than we thought." Y/n looked down at the counter as Diego and Klaus continued yelling at each other. "But it doesn't make any-"
"Wait, where's Luther and Viktor?" Klaus changed the subject.
Everyone turned their heads and saw the two talking much further away as if they wanted to go somewhere but stopped in their tracks. The siblings, along with Lila, stood up from their seats and walked over to them.
"Stop covering for him." Luther finished.
"Covering what?" Five asked Viktor. "What's going on?"
Viktor saw everyone huddled with them in a circle as tears began to form. "He didn't mean to hurt anyone."
"Really? You mean, when he did this?" Luther pointed at a rather deep cut on Viktor's right cheek.
"Wait, Harlan did that?" Y/n came closer to him.
"That's it, I'm gonna end him." Diego quickly jumped in.
"Why did he hurt you?" Y/n asked again. "Did he-"
"Look," Viktor cut her off. "I know how it looks, but Harlan didn't ask for this. If we hadn't gone back to 1963, if I hadn't saved him-"
"He killed Jayme and Alphonso." Luther shook his head. "Not you. He's the reason we're in this mess, and he's our only way out of it."
"Luther's right." Five agreed. "If we're gonna have an iota of a chance of getting out of this alive, we need access to the Kugelblitz."
"There's only four of them left." Viktor tried to discuss. "We can just overpower them."
"What, and risk losing some of us in the process?" Five came closer. "Harlan is insignificant."
"You told me once that no one is insignificant." Viktor's argument made Five go silent and look away. "They'll kill him." He turned to the others.
"Uh, so?" Lila spoke up out of nowhere. "We are talking about one person versus saving billions of lives here. I mean, is this really a debate for you people?"
"Hey, Little Britain? You don't get a vote." Viktor got mad over Lila being correct.
"Lila lives in this universe too." Klaus said. "Besides, she's Y/n's sister, so she's family. Now even two times." Lila quietly thanked him.
"I don't give a shit about the Sparrows," Diego joined. "But I'm not gonna let scary-ass Grandpa finish you off."
"Five days ago, he was just a little kid." Viktor said. "And what? Now I'm supposed to just decide whether he lives or dies?"
"Viktor, we can't save everyone." Y/n showed a sympathetic look. "But this is what being part of this means - making hard calls, that's difficult."

𝐘/𝐍 𝐒𝐀𝐓 𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐀𝐑 𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐈𝐍, waiting around for Viktor to come out with Harlan. It seemed as if this was going on forever until Five came over to her. "I'm sorry."
There it is, that same song that goes on for repeat. "For what?" Y/n softly chuckled. "You don't have anything to feel sorry for."
"But I do." Five couldn't take his eyes off her. "I know you're sick and tired of me apologizing each time-"
"Damn right I am." Y/n finally turned to him with a scoff. "I mean, do you even know the kind of shit I had to go through here? I needed you, but you were too busy saving the world with my sister."
"Yeah, because you didn't want to come along with me." Five protested.
"You never even asked me, Five." Y/n protested. "Whatever, it doesn't matter anymore."
The girl kept looking down at the counter, not wanting to look at Five, until the boy sat down next to her and sighed. "What's been going on with you lately? You're not acting like yourself."
The girl could feel her body starting to tremble and her eyes begin to form tears. Five saw that, but until he could say anything..."Five, I'm pregnant."
Their looks slowly met each other, Y/n slowly lifting her eyes to look at him and Five, being speechless.
The fear within Y/n began boiling inside when Five didn't say anything for a second. "You're-you're-?"
"Listen," Y/n started talking to avoid crying. "I really hoped you wanted this too, but if you don't, I'm willing to do this by myself. Just know that your promise will mean nothing to me because you never-"
Five cut her off by putting his lips against hers and taking her face in his hands. He ran his fingers through her hair as neither of them dared to pull away.
Finally, Five softly pulled his lips away from Y/n's and smiled. "What makes you think I don't want this?"
Y/n, still in shock, couldn't bring herself to smile. "I-I just thought that because this isn't over, you wouldn't want to deal with this."
"This?" Five chuckled. "Y/n, I know you can't tell by looking at me, but I'm the happiest I have ever been." He took her hands in his. "I want this more than anything."
After the fear had finally washed away, Y/n could finally smile. "Yeah? You sure?"
"Yeah." Five chuckled. "I'm sure." Their foreheads touched each other as Five slowly wrapped his hands around Y/n's waist and stomach. The comfort they both wanted for so long had finally reached them and to them, it seemed as if they were the only ones there.
"Hey," Luther broke their sweet moment by coming back to the bar with Klaus. "Did we disturb anything?"
The couple sat up and backed away from each other. "Uh, no." Y/n cleared her throat and stood up from her seat. "Not at all. Something's wrong?" Five saw the way she reacted and understood that she wanted to keep it quiet.
"Yeah, Viktor's been gone for a long time." Luther came over to them. "Doesn't that seem a bit suspicious to you?"
"I mean," Y/n looked over at Five on whose face you could still see a bit of leftover joy. "He has to go through something hard, give him some time. I'm sure he'll be back soon."
"Yeah, that's sad." Klaus heavily sighed walking past them and sitting on the counter. "He's in charge of saving the world after destroying it twice." He took off his shoes and began playing with them like a little kid as Y/n walked away. "Ironic, huh?"
Five stood up from his seat. "Give him ten minutes." He walked over to Y/n, who was leaning against a pillar. "He'll be back."

The words on the shards have an ancient feel to them, making it a trend for people to use ancient language. The Hand of Sigmar. A Warhammer Fiction.
Adebar von Bolstedt was a normal young Aristocrat once. Third son of the middling von Bolstedt line of Altdorf, capital of the prestigious Empire at the heart of the Old World, but when a quarrel with his brother escalates he decides to leave his pampered home, and soon finds himself stranded in the countryside. When confronted about his presence he claims to be led by the God-King Sigmar, but with the name of the Protector of Mankind come his responsiblities. Soon Adebar finds himself tasked with ridding a town of a mad killer, and settling some lethal family quarrels.Word from the AuthorGreetings! The Hand of Sigmar plays out in the much beloved Warhammer Fantasy setting (owned, of course, by Games Workshop). Do not fret, however, as I've made it a point to make the story digestible even to the uninitiated, and maybe even be a good introduction to the setting. This work will be shorter overall, partly because its born out of a sudden passion, partly because I thought I'd try my hand at a more comfortable story than the grim darkness of the 41st Millenium (psychotic murderer and fraudulent holyman included). Depending on how this does and my time allows more adventures may be coming. While I cannot claim the places, concepts and gods etc. mentioned within as my own, the story and all characters flowed from my own fingers.
